Exsiumius created our company's website from scratch. This included designing a logo based on the parent company's logo, which they had also created a few years ago. Based on the brief we provided, they developed a site that, with their assistance and expertise, turned out better than we had envisioned. 

They were attentive to every detail, explaining the reasoning behind each of their suggestions. We received a modern website that we can easily update and modify ourselves, thanks to the user-friendly platform they have.

Capturing and transferring more than 1,000 proprietary news reports and analytical reports - generated by Medellin Herald during the prior 8 years -- from former Joomla CMS to new WordPress CMS required careful, manual one-by-one transfers, because of obsolete Joomla CMS system that didn't enable automated upgrades while capturing all prior news and photo postings. 

Eximius further helped me select an appropriate web site design for this massive transfer of data, and also installed new WordPress and Acymailing programs -- and helped me learn how to use WordPress and Acymailing systems.

The work product and deliverable have been exacting in what was expected and have served to allow for both the rapid creation of new business units, new business entities, and to grow each according to plan. Whatever concept our business development and strategy dictates is able to be executed upon.

We gained many new clients and established better communication with them while also providing better services to the customer base we already had. Our website traffic increased while our sales increased by 50%.

We had recently launched a new website, but it included critical errors our developer could not solve. We needed to correct the situation in short order. Our original goal was to fix the just-released website, but that changed during conversations with Marko at Eximius, to designing an entirely new website.

How did you select Eximius Solutions and what were the deciding factors?

One of the consultants we work with for digital marketing suggested Marko and Eximius. In our first meeting Marko quickly identified the issues and offered several options. Marko demonstrated a real understanding of our business and what we wanted, his price was very competitive, and he offered a quick timeline for completion.

We decided to scrap the just-released website and have Eximius design and program a new website for us from scratch. They started with the design--or look--of the new website, delivering several options, and then worked patiently with us as we refined the design direction that worked best for us.

They designed a custom Word Press template, and combined plug-ins where needed to incorprate all of the features we needed.

My main contact with Eximius was with Marko, the CEO. Occasionally he would include others from his team on our calls, but Marko handled all of the customer interfacing with our project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We are very pleased with the outcome of the project. Our new website is visually much more pleasing and easy to navigate. And his team suggested changes to our visual branding that we have carried over to other materials.

The site is optimized and receives much more traffic. The calls to action are more impactful, and we have seen lead generation increase four fold.

Eximius proposed a timeline to get the project completed quickly--about 4 weeks from start to finish. Marko drove the process with very detailed emails about what we needed to review and approve, and what we needed to provide to him.

We also had Monday morning calls to review everything that had been done to date and address any questions. They were very well organized and met the timeline.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Before thay even delivered a proposal, they completed an audit of our then current website, identifying critical flaws and providing some solutions for fixes. It demonstrated Eximius' commitment to service.

Also, their graphic design team is outstanding, helping us to evolve our corporate branding standards. Marko also spent a lot of time making sure we were able to maintain the website, and he still monitors the back-end for us, even though the project is completed.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They were responsive, creative, driven and organized. I have no suggestions for improvement. I should add that we completed another project with Eximius after this one, and we are currently working with them on a third project.

I’m the managing director of a health and safety and environmental training company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Eximius Solutions?

We’ve done many projects with them. My most recent project for them was a new website and integration of the e-commerce side of our business.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Traditionally, they sit down with our marketing, sales, and business development people to go over what we want the project to look like. We nail down the key deliverables, timelines, and quality. Look and feel is a big part, so even though it’s subjective, we have a strong working relationship. We have both parameters in place and the ability to be flexible.

For this specific website, we were selling a training course. This requires a seamless experience for the buyer. Oftentimes, they’ll come in from PPC ads or an organic search, or traditional browsing. It’s important for us that the information gets across to the customer, and that it leads them in a buying direction. Additionally, you can’t provide too much information because the viewer will get bored. Finally, they have to be presented with options to continue reading, contact us for more information, or go ahead and buy.

The current site is built on PHP, and we’ve worked with them on WordPress sites before.

What is the team composition?

I deal with Marco (Owner). To be honest, all things are channeled through him. If he’s not around I have a secondary contact I deal with. I have direct contact with two of the developers as well.

How did you come to work with Eximius Solutions?

In 2012, IT costs and development costs became very expensive in our country. One of my connections recommended companies in Belgrade, so I reached out to three of them. Eximius was the only company to respond. After a few verification checks, we did a small website as a test project.

How much have you invested with them?

This one was €8,000 (approximately $9,700 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

I’ve worked with them since 2012. This most recent project ran from February until November 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We look over the written content of all the projects they do, and we look at it page-by-page. This ensures layout, borders, and shading is all correct. We go to customers that we know well, and whose opinions I trust, and get their feedback on the product. In general, it’s excellent. Ultimately, if someone says they don’t like it, it’s our fault because we designed it. Overall, I find Eximius good to work with. They’re certainly in the top five, or maybe even type of three of all our suppliers.

How did Eximius Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

They have a tracking system that we have access to. Everything is line-itemed on it and we can see progress as it’s happening. I have a project manager on our side as well; it’s a good system.

What did you find most impressive about them?

As a business, our main goal is to deliver superior customer service which means delivering exactly what we say we're going to deliver. If I judge Eximius by that, then they provide excellent customer service and they haven’t missed a deadline yet. They haven’t let me down on delivery, ever.

Are there any areas they could improve?

For them, no. Everything happens immediately, and they’re competitive price-wise. The only downside is that they’re outside the EU, which results in a significant bank charge for us per payment. That’s not their fault at all.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It’s important to be clear about what you want, and it must be writing. This is true for whatever company you work with. If they do with other customers what they’ve done with me, there won’t be any problems.

We needed several solutions developed.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They built a corporate website, a private investment platform, a frontend component for a real-time private securities trading module (it integrated with a core trading engine in the background that utilized FIX protocol and a Thrift protocol for binary communication), and a multi-instance white label application that would connect with various white labels of financial intermediaries that would feed their data and deals into our system.

I also worked with them previously with two other companies where they created a frontend website and investor area (for a real estate company I founded) and upgraded a legacy e-commerce platform (for an online furniture retailer).

What is the team composition?

They provided both full-time and part-time resources, for a total of 4-5 people with various skillsets throughout the project.

How did you come to work with Eximius Solutions?

They were recommended by a friend of mine 5-6 years ago when I worked with a different company. I was pleased with their work and brought them with me as I moved to another company. When I left the second firm and started with Global Alternatives I brought them along again.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from September 2017 until August 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve been extremely happy on all levels regarding the four pieces of the scope. They’re the best I’ve dealt with after 15-20 years of working with developers around the world.

How did Eximius Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate through a combination of Skype, instant messaging, and emails. They were pretty much working our hours, so there was a lot of live interaction. There was also a Redmine ticketing system we could use. On my previous projects with them, I’ve traveled to Serbia to meet them as well.

They’re always great at deadlines, finishing things sooner than they needed to be done which led to time for testing. They’re highly organized.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were able to bring various different skill sets to the table, which was impressive as a small company. Their technical competence stands out in their ability to handle integrations with different established trading protocols.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I wouldn’t say that small mistakes weren’t made but no one is perfect. Across the board, they’ve been excellent. I’m continuing to work with them and don’t hesitate to recommend them.

They’re not the most affordable option but consider the overall value. Their communication skills stand out and they plan well.

We have an increase in patients who fined us over the internet, and an increase in patients who say that they found out about certain types of operating procedures that are done in our hospital.

We had fantastic communication with our project manager, spoke to him on regular bases, were informed every step of the way about the progress of the project. Every deadline that was set was respected. The ideas that were provided by the project manager were right on spot with all of our demands.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I always thought that a site would be complicated to manage and maintain after it was running, but Eximius Solutions provided us with a fantastic admin panel which gave us easy access to our site and allowed us to add information to it with ease. Also the thing that was surprising to me was that they combined the visual effect and the practicality and easy use for the user.

I think they are ready for much bigger challenges and wouldn't change a thing.
