Wix.com is a cloud-based web development platform with millions of users worldwide. We make it easy for everyone to create a beautiful, professional web presence. I am the HR partner at our offices in Dnipro, Ukraine. ​

For what projects/services did your company hire EvoTalents?

When it comes to recruitment, Wix has a high bar and it's important for us to hire candidates who fit our culture as well. We needed help with providing the quality of the candidate pipeline.

What were your goals for this engagement?

How did you select EvoTalents?

I knew EvoTalents' founder Elena from before when she was a freelance recruiter. Back then I was pleasantly surprised with Elena's approach and attention to candidate experience. She managed to pass her vision to the team at EvoTalents later on and it allowed us to work together on several positions even more productively.

They did the search, pre-screen calls, and coordinated the interview process with the candidates.

What was the team composition?

We used to work with one recruitment lead, over time team composition has changed and currently, we are working with two focal points from recruitment who handle different directions of positions.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

Since the beginning of our engagement, EvoTalents worked with 36 positions for Wix. Overall, we hired 18 candidates. Almost all of them continue working nowadays.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Along the process, we were constantly in touch discussing priorities and challenges. The team is open towards feedback and is ready to work to make the process the most efficient for both parties. EvoTalents also share a lot of statistics and weekly reports to visualize the process.

What did you find most impressive about this vendor?

It was important for us to find a partner in recruitment, for whom it is important to get to know the company better, its culture and expectations - both from a technical and personal perspective. I appreciate how EvoTalents are also engaged in finding not just any candidate to close the position but really find the best fit and provide a good candidate experience. You can also tell the team is constantly growing by learning, running its own sourcing school, and sharing knowledge with the community.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Sometimes the communication plan of recruiters who approach candidates needed more alignment, although after the feedback session we managed to improve the situation.

The goals were to improve sourcing skills in our recruitment employees to decrease time spent on searching for future possible candidates.

How did you select this vendor?

The decision was pretty easy due to Evotalents awareness on the market, proactive positioning themself among the recruitment community on the market, and the high ethical standards of the company.

Corporate education program had detailed workflow about improving sourcing skills, technics used in the field, software which allows finding different types of candidates. The course ended with an open registration hackathon for participants.

What was the team composition?

The team consisted of up to 20 in-house recruiters.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

According to a survey after the course, employees were pretty satisfied with the course details, technical background it consisteща а as well as openness of tutors.

The project was easy to assign. Corporate training took place after detailed planning which also seemed quite organized and easy-going.

Dedication to their expertise and community development was pretty existing to know about this company.

Would say that developing inhouse technical platform and instruments would even increase their professional approach in corporate training.

We were developing as a family-type company. All engineers working with us came from internal recommendations, which was awesome. Though at some point we needed to scale faster at the same time keeping high standards or requirements to the candidates, that's where we started looking for Recruitment partner.

We had following requirements to a Recruiting Agency: cost, reliability, good knowledge of the local market and good image among software developers. EvoTalents fit to all these requirements and showed great responsiveness and communication level.

They are doing a great job asking questions re positions and our requirements, making selection and pre-screening of suitable candidates, also checking candidates' English level, which is mandatory for us. What is important they provid statistics and weekly reports for each position.

We have a Recruitment lead assigned to us as an account manager. I'm communicating with her.

We were able to fill-in several critical positions. It was done within time-frames promised by EvoTalents at the initial stage.

The workflow is effective, communication is on daily basis, direct and franc.

What I like about our cooperation is great communication level and support. It is very human-like though still effective.

Those are not much areas for improvement, just when starting cooperation with Recruitment agency you should consider: - Making a stop-list of candidates that were already contacted by you, so that there are no over-communication. - Agreeing the way you handle salary discussions with candidates (net/gross numbers, discussed by agency or yourself, etc).

In truth, it was an eventuality, my good friend advised me this company. I started working with them and saw how much of my time I saved.

I provide them described in details description of job positions. They are looking for candidates for me, and provide me their CV, if candidates don't fit for me I'll give them a feedback - why it was so. It help's them work more effective in a future. The same story after technical interview - I always give them a feedback. After few times they usually skip not relevant candidates even without my efforts, because they know everything about my requirements.

I work with them directly. Usually after technical interview my team prepares feedback and share with EvoTalents.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

I remember that it was about 20-80 hours of my personal time and about 10-20 hours of my team to find right new member. Currently it's about few hours of my time and time of my team.

I'd say that it was effective enough - we used emails, calendar and messengers. I don't like excess communication - we had only what is really valuable.
