BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the marketing coordinator at Los Altos Foods. We’re a company that manufactures Mexican-style cheeses. We do campaigns to try and promote our product.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Evolve Media?

We needed someone to help us with our website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Don (Director) helped us with the website. In the beginning, he worked with our marketing consultant. Don received feedback from the consultant and then their team created a design for a completely new website. After about three years, we redesigned the platform again. The development was the same but changes were made to the design.

Now, Evolve Media handles maintenance and support. If our team wants to add content, Don implements any needed changes to the website. He also works with us on campaigns, a hosting service, and website management.

What is the team composition?

I’m only in contact with Don.

How did you come to work with Evolve Media?

We quoted with other agencies but decided to go with Evolve Media. We’ve only worked with them.

How much have you invested in them?

Overall, we’ve spent between $50,000–$100,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement began in May 2017, and it’s ongoing. The redesign work started about a year ago and took three months to complete.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The redesign has created a great impact on our rebranding campaign. When I started working for Los Altos Foods, Don was already working for the company. However, our company was changing its logos, colors, and overall brand identity. Designing a new website that matched our new brand was exactly what we needed. Evolve Media’s work was perfect, and the website looks great.

How did Evolve Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Don is very responsive. I can email or call him, and he’s always quick to reply. As far as managing the project goes, we always work with a marketing consultant. The consultant and Don are the ones who handle the project. If I have questions or need something quick, I can call and receive the help I need.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Evolve Media is very responsive, and their design work is good. They listen to the customer’s needs and that’s very important. Don delivers what our company needs.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could suggest new technologies or ways to manage the project. Even though they’re very responsive and will answer my calls and questions, it’d be nice if we had a system implemented to check how the project is going.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be clear with communication at the beginning so you can get what you expect to receive.
