Nous Group Website
Nous Group is an international management consultancy founded in Australia. They were looking to elevate their website to better represent their experience and expertise across multiple sectors, capabilities and people. They also wanted to make sure that it was easy for people to cross-reference these different sectors, capabilities, people and thought leadership across the website.
Evolut consulted with Nous to fully map our their requirements through journey and persona mapping as well as detailed information architecture and wireframes. This gave Nous a solid blueprint of a way forward to better engage their audience.
We then designed a very broad range of templates and blocks such that it was easy to create a unique look-and-feel across the many hundreds of different pages in the website - something they very much struggled to do with their previous site.
The website was built upon website using a blocks-based system for flexibility and ease of self-management by their in-house team (without sacrificing design and usability).

LAVO Website
LAVO™ is a green energy technology and lifestyle company that has created the world’s first integrated hybrid hydrogen battery that combines with rooftop solar to deliver sustainable, reliable and renewable green energy to home and business.
With a premium product and price tag best suited to commercial projects and high net worth individuals, the website needed to appeal to architects and prestige buyers. A lot of time and effort was invested into the design and build of the website to ensure it created the right level of impact from the outset.
Due to the emerging nature of the product a lot of time went into video, animations and content to ensure people could understand how the LAVO™ System works and get their many questions answered in the easiest way possible.
The website was designed and built in under two months and they’ve already pre-sold more than 40 of their units since their official launch on Friday 20th November.
Evolut also helped LAVO™ reach the first page of Google (in less than 2 weeks) for their chosen brand and category search terms, helping them achieve over 17,000 visits since launch with an average engagement time of 2:14 and 4.2 page views per user (as at December 7, 2020).

NextFleet Website
NextFleet, a Mitsubishi Corporation Company, specialises in Fleet Management and helping corporations reduce the cost of their fleet.
Being relatively new to the Australian market, they engaged Evolut to help them create a premium digital experience and supporting marketing strategy — helping them to challenge the market leadership and create s superior customer experience.
Evolut designed and built NextFleet a 50+ page website with a range of interactive tools, giving them a presence well-and-truly beyond that of the current market competitors (in terms of aesthetic, engagement, function and calls to action).
Out of the top 125 search terms NextFleet wanted to focus on, they previously ranked for 3-6 of these at any given time prior to the website launch. After launch they now rank for 65 of these, 18 of which are in the top 3 results, 29 are on the first page and 39 are in the first two pages. In the first week since launch their new website has a 234% increase in website visits, a 1,788% increase in page views and a 1,771% increase in average session duration. And this is before their paid search marketing has even begun.
We are confident NextFleet’s new site will help them leapfrog their competitors and quickly grow market share across the Eastern sea board.

Breaka Milk Breaka-Island
The Breaka Island “Summer of Awesome” campaign is the most digitally oriented campaign Parmalat have ever launched. Running continuously over a 2 year period with on pack promotions, sponsorship tie in and the regular introduction of online games and competitions. The campaign was launched on the back of social media drivers achieving over 100,000 You Tube views as part of the launch proving it is possible to drive engagement with next to no media spend. Breaka Island provided an immersive environment where all brand promotions could live, increasing their digital engagement to over 6 minutes per customer.

Dreamworld Fun Planner
Dreamworld / White Water World wanted to create an application that would showcase their product and provide a method of allowing customers to plan their visit and get the most out of their days spent at the parks.
Our challenge was to create an interactive and fun application that encourages park users to discover what the parks have to offer and plan a visit. We developed a new User Interface design to encourage exploration and education.
The Fun Planner allowed you to drag-and-drop rides, features, food breaks and help you create an interactive itinerary that you could save and share with your friends. The goal was to help people to plan out their day and encourage them to book 2-day passes so they could get the most out of Dreamworld and White Water World.
The interactive web application received critical acclaim and won numerous awards. It also helped many visitors get the most out of their Dreamworld experience and helped increase online sales.
The Fun Planner has since been decommissioned due to Adobe Flash no longer being supported.

Health and Wellbeing Queensland Website
Health and Wellbeing Queensland were looking for a new website to help convey their broad remit and role to help drive better health and wellbeing through Queensland. Understanding the need to quickly build engagement and rapport with multiple stakeholder groups, we went for a very visual and video-driven approach — driving an emotional and uplifting feel through the website. Evolut then went on to help them launch a digital initiative called “Boost your Healthy”. It was created to help people keep an active focus on their physical activity, healthy eating and wellbeing while being isolated through the COVID-19 lockdown.
Built on Wordpress the website is continually evolving to support the many exciting initiatives that Health and Wellbeing Queensland continue to deliver — the latest being an exciting project called Pick of the Crop. Another is their Clinicians Hub that has it’s very own dedicated section of the website, much like a microsite.
Since launch the website has catered to over 55,000 users at an average of 200 users per day (with over 30,000 uses of their Health and Wellbeing Resources library) — a great contribution towards the health and wellbeing of Queenslanders by any standards.

Get Out There QLD Government
The Department of Justice and the Attorney General wanted to talk to school leavers and provide information to help them navigate this exciting and possibly difficult time in their life. DL brochures handed out through schools had been the chosen plan of attack for many years with limited success. Evolut’s challenge was to convert what was once a printed information booklet to an interactive information based website specifically targeted to appeal to a target market of young adult school leavers/university students. The microsite contained all the essential information relevant to school leavers in a fun and informative nature, and was the first time it had been available online.
We created a dimensional representation of life after school and allowed the students to explore the environment and discover information for themselves.

Health & Fitness Age Calculator
A highly successful merger of creative idea, strategy and technology to tackle obesity in Queensland. Rather than talk about weight or fat or kilograms, which cause most people to switch off, we created an algorithm to measure people’s Health & Fitness Age. We could then tailor the information to them, whether they were healthy, at risk, or overweight/obese..
The campaign had record-breaking results with a staggering 85% completion rate of the calculator itself — resulting in over 390,000 Queenslanders being more educated about their health and fitness habits.
Added to this was 69,000 downloads of the supporting app and an average engagement time of 7.34 minutes.
Post-launch it was cited as Queensland Health’s most successful online engagement campaign to date.

Boost your Healthy
Boost your Healthy is a COVID-19 project for Health and Wellbeing Queensland (Queensland Government) and their 30 Alliance Partners. It was created to help people keep an active focus on their physical activity, healthy eating and wellbeing while being isolated through the COVID-19 lockdown.
The website combines resources from 30 different Alliance Partners - creating an unprecedented Resource Library for users to get specific health and wellbeing advice from.
Furthermore, the website consistently runs a number of health and wellbeing challenges - called Boost Challenges - utilising famous sports celebrities to help motivate Queensland citizens to get active and challenge their friends. The centrepoint of this campaign is the Billion Steps Challenge - urging Queenslanders to get to 1,000,000,000 steps and boost physical activity across the state.
The website also hosts a number of competitions to encourage people to try new healthy recipes, experiment with mindfulness and many other health and wellbeing pushes.

Drone Insure Website
Drone Insure is a Drone Insurance company serving both U.S.A. and Australia.
Wholly-owned by Precision Autonomy, a specialists in autonomous technology and insurance, Drone Insure gives end customers the ultimate flexibility they need in the growing field of drone insurance.
Evolut designed and built the website in Wordpress - including geo-location and dynamic, location-based content.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the Marketing Officer for a leading NFP Community Housing Provider.
For what projects/services did your company hire Evolut, and what were your goals?
Our profit - for - purpose Real Estate EchoRealty had a website that was extremely outdated without any property search functionality. Evolut helped us relaunch this website, and present a clear, concise customer journey for prospective stakeholders and particularly our tenants.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We conducted a tender for web developers and shortlisted Evolut as one of them. After interviewing and we chose them as our vendor based on their commitment to our brands, their reliability, service standards and cost estimate.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We had a kick-off meeting with Evolut to discuss our goals and objectives and from there the team conducted individual customer journey workshops with different business units. After creating wireframes for our site, and design mockups, we signed off on the final build. The team created our site and we collectively updated all content to reflect our company's services.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
One project manager, A designer and 2 developers. All great.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Clients love our updated design, management are now proud to share our website URL now that its updated and professional!
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We had weekly catch ups with the team and while some deadlines were pushed back they delivered by our live date.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They gave us a professional site and worked alongside us during our feedback sessions to get everything right - Massive shoutout to Angela for this one - she was so patient and made the process seamless - which is no easy task.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I think the only feedback i'd give is regarding the timeline... While the team did their best to forecast how long things would take I think there was pressure from different clients that caused our project to have delays. We appreciate this is difficult but if I were to change anything it would be that the delivery dates stayed consistent from project planning stages.

E-Commerce Development for Hydrogen Technology Company
“Evolut is very responsive and aware of the deadlines. Their team goes above and beyond to hit them.”

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CMO of LAVO. We’re a hydrogen technology company that’s using green hydrogen to power homes, barbecues, and bicycles. It’s a bit like hydrogen storage.
What challenge were you trying to address with Evolut?
We launched the company and our first product in November 2020. We went to Evolut to help us build a fully interactive e-commerce website. Essentially, we were not only launching our brand and product but were also establishing the ability to take payments and preorders on the website for customers both in Australia and internationally.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Evolut provided end-to-end website design, structure, and strategy. We came to them with our brand. The team at Evolut looked at how they’d structure the website, how it’d interact with customers, and what content we’d put on there. We supplied the information, and they assisted us in how we manage that information. It was a very logical flow that was visually appealing for the customers.
They utilized WordPress as the basic technology of the CMS. Their team also set it up for all the tagging, Google Analytics, and things like that. They took the whole responsibility of how we’d move forward with our future SEO and SEM. Evolut looked at it both from the customer experience and through marketing analytics.
Additionally, they integrated our payment system with BigCommerce, Stripe, and HubSpot. Their team worked to ensure the website is able to integrate those forms and have a seamless flow so when customers went from preordering to making a payment, they’d get seamless emails as a result.
What is the team composition?
We work primarily with Ben (Founder) and Carl (Director of Design Thinking). Other members of my internal team worked more closely with their developers and designers.
How did you come to work with Evolut?
Evolut was recommended to us by the agency we had worked with. Their team had previously worked with Evolut. Naturally, we did a first round of interviews and discussions. A couple of things really stood out to us from those.
Ben’s experience showed that he had an amazing ability from an agency side to be creative and execute. But then he also understands the business problem. He possessed that balance between providing a great customer experience and being creative with the ability to meet the business needs of commercial reality.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested $60,000 AUD (approximately $46,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
The engagement started in August 2020. The website went live in November 2020. However, we’ve kept them on to help with some of our digital marketing and SEO as well as to handle maintenance and management. We’re about to start a new project for new microsites, they’ll be an extension of our first website.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The standard bounce rate and dwell time have been within three minutes so people are really engaging with the site. We have a very low bounce rate so people are generally scrolling through the first page or go to multiple pages. One of our lead indicators is that we have about a 180-second dwell time.
Additionally, we’ve had a great flow in sales. We’ve had $7 million worth of preorders since we went live. This is far exceeding our expectations and targets. The fact that it flowed and worked well without any errors is a win.
How did Evolut perform from a project management standpoint?
Communication is fantastic, and they consistently meet deadlines. Our teams hold regular weekly meetings through Teams. Evolut is very responsive and aware of the deadlines. Their team goes above and beyond to hit them. As we were approaching the launch, they worked very effectively leading up to it. They were really a part of the team. Evolut understood the criticality of the go-live date and achieved that date extremely well.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They have a great balance of being both commercial and creative. They’ve got the technical expertise but they really go beyond with the mix of both design and commercial understanding so we can really build something that’ll achieve the desired outcome of the business. They worked with us through that.
Additionally, we're impressed with their strategy. They didn’t intend to build a site that’d be demolished in a couple of years’ time. Their team is being scalable so they’ll reuse the work that they’ve done previously to build. They don’t have to restart. This shows that they’re being very careful with our money as well.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I can’t think of anything. We had such a tight deadline and a great outcome. Given all the circumstances we were operating in such as COVID-19, the quick turnaround time, and the physical distance, they did an exceptional job.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Provide them with as much information as possible. Go back to the basics of what your business is trying to achieve. Evaluate the purpose of your business and be very clear on what you want your brand to stand for.

Web Dev & Marketing for Roofing Company
"Apart from the high-quality results, it’s easy to work with Evolut."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the managing director of a roofing company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Evolut?
We needed an agency to create marketing materials for our new product.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Evolut designed labels and a website for our products. Their team created the website to get all of our products online for promotion. They designed all of the products’ labels and names.
And then, their team also organized all of the print. They organized color charts for paint too. Their team hunted through Australia to find who had the best prints and prices.
We didn’t give them ideas for the package, so their team researched our product and came up with the designs. They showed us their work along the way to make sure that we were happy with it.
What is the team composition?
We dealt directly with one person.
How did you come to work with Evolut?
A friend recommended Evolut. We needed to get the project done quickly, so we asked to get a hold of them. I rang them and they came around later that day. We talked about what we needed to have done and where we wanted to be.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent about $25,000 AUD (approximately $16,500 USD) on their services so far. Evolut's reasonably priced.
What is the status of this engagement?
We initially engaged them for the labels in January 2020. They did well, so we kept engaging them for more work. I talked to them the other day about another project.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
What they put together was brilliant. The work was high-quality and done in a short time frame. The website was fantastic. Anyone that looked at the website gave positive feedback. Even the manufacturers who make our products said the website was outstanding.
How did Evolut perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicated via email. They checked in at various times throughout the project to ensure their team headed in the right direction. We didn’t have to chase them for anything because they saw the project through to the finish.
It didn’t take them long to understand the product because they researched it. Their team sorted out their own problems and came up with the right answers. It was easy to work with them.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Apart from the high-quality results, it’s easy to work with Evolut. We didn’t have to explain everything in total detail. They were experienced and understood what we wanted to do. Evolut went beyond what we expected.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I’m happy with what they've done.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am a marketing consultant for various small- medium businesses in the insurance and finance sector. I was working with a particular client who has emerging tech for drone insurance.
For what projects/services did your company hire Evolut?
I engaged Ben on a project to develop a customer-facing website for the drone insurance engine. There were several issues around the development of this website including geo-location, page visibility and multisite install.
What were your goals for this project?
The website brief was to create a responsive, seamless, SEO optimised website for drone insurance. The platform was Wordpress, integrated with the drone insurance rating engine.
How did you select this vendor?
I've worked with Ben in the past and knew his reputation for delivering excellent creative and impressive looking websites.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
Ben designed, developed and managed the install of droneinsure.co
What was the team composition?
Ben worked closely with the marketing and COO of the company and interfaced with the tech team to get the website up and running in a short time frame.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
TBC - We expect that it will increase conversion and reduce ad spend costs.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
Ben was extremely responsive and went over and above to deliver to client expectations - even when the goalposts changed.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Ben is much more than a website designer and I look forward to using his full suite of skills, experience in customer journey and UX design in the future. I highly recommend Evolut.
Are there any areas for improvement?
There were some time zone and project scoping issues but Ben handled these with professionalism and continued to strive for the best possible outcomes at all times. In future, we'll be working with Evolut on a per-hourly basis rather than a fixed project fee to avoid any conflict around changing scopes, overruns in time.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the marketing manager for a statutory body that's been set up to monitor and try to reduce the prevalence of obesity in a state in Australia.
What challenge were you trying to address with Evolut?
As a new body, we didn't have a website or any digital platforms set up, so we hired Ben (Founder, Evolut) to take a look at all of our digital needs and help us address some of those.
What was the scope of their involvement?
He is currently developing a website from scratch on WordPress with some specific functionalities. We are also investigating a CRM, some kind of marketing platform, and probably some kind of media monitoring technologies.
What is the team composition?
The team has pretty much been just Ben and me, along with a few project consultants that we've brought on to help us along.
How did you come to work with Evolut?
My manager had worked with Ben at a previous company and knew that he would do good work, following a review of several different providers including Evolut, we decided that they would be the best fit.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in November 2019 and the project is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Ben has done a really great job so far. Since the website isn't complete yet, I don't have a lot of specific metrics, but he has worked very well with the team as a whole. He took the time to really understand our core requirements for the project and because of that was very much able to hit the ground running.
How did Evolut perform from a project management standpoint?
So far everything has been on time. We have been pursuing a pretty aggressive timeline and we've stayed fully within it while staying on budget as well. The way Ben works is that he pretty much embeds himself in the office a couple of days a week, which makes communication very easy to maintain because we can just walk over and talk through any questions or issues we have right away.
What did you find most impressive about them?
His model has worked really well with us and enabled us to make a lot of progress very quickly and dynamically. We really appreciated him providing us with the level of flexibility necessary to work that way.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I don't have any particular ideas for improvement.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I'm not sure how his model would work with larger or more complicated businesses, but it has worked incredibly well for us in particular. I would really recommend any small organizations that are looking to move quickly consider working with him.
This review was updated by the CEO on May 29, 2020. The original star ratings were: Overall - 5, Quality - 4, Schedule - 5, Cost - 4, NPS - 5. New content is below:
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We’re an independent government statutory body that was formed in July 2019 to address obesity within Queensland. We look at nutrition, healthy eating, and physical activity. I’m the manager of the research team and the leader of the communications team. I started with the body in March 2020.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Evolut developed our initial website from scratch. The site launched on February 23, 2020, the week before I started.
How much have you invested with them?
The current project cost is around 60,000 AUD (approximately $40,000 USD). In total, we’ve probably spent about $100,000.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
How did your relationship with the vendor evolve?
Evolut continues to do maintenance. We’ve also done another big web design project. They’ve been able to make modifications and be on the run with us. We got up a whole new section in four weeks, and it changed about three times.
Describe the impact this engagement has had on your business.
Evolut has been amazing to work with. As someone who doesn’t have a solid background in media and communications, they’ve been able to get me through the process. They make things very easy to understand, and they’re agile and responsive to our needs.
We’ve had really tight timeframes, and they’ve come up with out-of-the-box, intuitive solutions to offer our stakeholders during COVID. They’ve always been accessible and able to bring me on the journey very quickly, allowing me to understand web development, web design, and why we do things the way we do. They’ve come up with solutions I never would’ve thought of that have been fantastic and absolutely hit the mark.
