A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the co-founder of Questroom, an escape room.
What challenge were you trying to address with EVOCODE?
We needed to build a simple website, optimized for search engines and equipped with a booking functionality for our customers.
What was the scope of their involvement?
EVOCODE was responsible for developing our website from scratch. The team then optimized the WordPress site for search engines using content they created. They launched a basic marketing campaign on Google Ads and managed Google Analytics as well.
The team also created plugins to integrate a booking functionality.
What is the team composition?
My main point of contact was Ivan (CEO), though there was a larger team supporting the project.
How did you come to work with EVOCODE?
I know Ivan personally from a prior role, so I was confident about his skills, especially in marketing.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project lasted from August-November 2017.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Since the site has launched, we’ve seen a large increase in customers. Users who navigate to the site tend to stay on it longer, and we’ve received really positive feedback.
How did EVOCODE perform from a project management standpoint?
Ivan was always accessible and his team worked quickly. EVOCODE didn’t just build the site, they offered valuable insight into how to market effectively after the engagement.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Our primary concern was finding an effective marketing strategy, and they delivered exactly what we needed. Two and a half years have passed, and we have no plans to change anything about what they implemented.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could’ve pushed us more to deliver everything from our side faster, but otherwise, I’m satisfied.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
They have an excellent understanding of their customer’s needs. They not only follow our directions, but they offer reliable suggestions we wouldn’t have thought of to improve the process as a whole. I’m happy with my decision to choose them.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of Viewworld ApS. We deliver tailored visualization solutions to NGOs, organizations, and foundations around the globe via an app.
What challenge were you trying to address with EVOCODE?
Our challenge was finding an outsourced partner who fit our desired cost to quality ratio. I previously had an in-house team that was expensive and unproductive. In my search, I wanted to cut costs and heighten quality.
What was the scope of their involvement?
EVOCODE handles 85% of our development tasks for clients. Their team serves our customers as an outsourced software company of their own. Using Ruby on Rails and JavaScript, their team handles everything from design, to front- and backend development, to UI/UX efforts. They’ve been capable of utilizing whatever technologies we’ve thrown at them.
What is the team composition?
My main point of contact is Ivan (CEO, EVOCODE). I’ve had sporadic contact with some of the developers, but communication is mostly with him. Because our partnership is project-based, we’ve worked with about 20 different developers.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with EVOCODE in December 2014 and have an ongoing partnership.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
About 95% of our customers are returning customers—that’s a pretty good measurement of success. EVOCODE brings a lot of value to our partnership, and Ivan always delivers quality work.
How did EVOCODE perform from a project management standpoint?
They’ve been absolutely excellent, and that’s the reason we’ve stayed with them. Our high volume of projects allows us to seek other companies, but EVOCODE’s project management has been flawless. Their responsiveness and professionalism stick out in comparison to their competitors. We communicate in person, over the phone, through Skype, and even on SMS.
What did you find most impressive about them?
My experience with Ivan as a UI/UX designer is what we value the most. He can take our ideas, or our clients’ ideas, and elevate them to the next level. In terms of logic and business analysis, that’s his strength. That’s what separates our products and helps us become appealing to our customers.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I don’t think they need to improve on anything. If he has areas to improve on, he’s very aware of them and is scaling up his team.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
You need to be involved throughout the entire process. A lot of people outsource their IT or development and expect processes to just run by themselves. That is never going to happen, you must be involved.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of FairPeople. We are the Czech branch of the Danish division of the company FairPeople Denmark. When we worked with EVOCODE, we were more like a marketing center; we had a sales center and offered different marketing services to our clients. We also created websites for clients. Now, we're working with business intelligence to find consultants in Europe and then provide their services to our clients in Scandinavia.
What challenge were you trying to address with EVOCODE?
We needed help with custom development. We had a business model where we offered our clients a quickly made website; many of our clients were startup businesses that didn’t have the funds or time to do so themselves. We would make the website in seven days and then also provide some marketing services.
What was the scope of their involvement?
EVOCODE provided development support to help us make the websites for our clients. They did the whole process of developing the website in seven steps, and they would make sure that they looked great for both mobile and desktop. They presented clients with the most popular templates, and then the clients could choose the one they liked. In addition to templated websites, they also did a couple of custom sites.
What is the team composition?
There were 4–5 people involved, and our main contact was Ivan (CEO, EVOCODE).
How did you come to work with EVOCODE?
We found EVOCODE through networking. Someone had recommended them to me. We had some meetings with them and then started working together.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with them from May 2014–July 2015.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
EVOCODE did a lot of our projects, and we were very happy with them. They not only developed the websites, but they also gave us tips and tricks from their point of view. They knew what to offer our customers, and we were really happy with the job that they did.
How did EVOCODE perform from a project management standpoint?
They were great. We primarily communicated through Skype and email, and we also had some meetings. Anytime our customers needed anything, EVOCODE talked to them directly; not having to allocate someone for that in-between communication was great.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We were really impressed with their price, as it wasn’t too expensive. I felt like they gave us more than other developers on the market and also provided us with business support. They looked at our work from their business point of view and shared their experience. The communication was excellent.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I don’t.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I would say go for it. I highly recommend them. We worked with Ivan, and we got a lot from his business knowledge. I would recommend talking to him and making a plan.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the manager of a real estate company.
What challenge were you trying to address with EVOCODE?
Previously, we used another CRM system but our company is very different from others in the real estate sector due to our internal process. Because of this, we needed to create a new CRM system and update our website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Using their technology, EVOCODE developed a new website for us and connected it to the new CRM system that they built. We just explained what we wanted and they helped us.
What is the team composition?
We worked with Ivan (Founder & CEO, EVOCODE) who served as our project and concept manager.
How did you come to work with EVOCODE?
We chose them because they explained all of the processes very clearly and we knew they were highly-experienced.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with them from April-September 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our new system has really helped us and we’ve been able to do some great work. In our day-to-day work, the new CRM system is very useful. Our website used to be separate from our CRM tool, but now that everything is all together, we’ve been able to manage our projects and organize our processes.
How did EVOCODE perform from a project management standpoint?
They always responded quickly. For instant communication, we used WhatsApp but we also used Skype and email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
EVOCODE helped us implement the new ideas that we had. Before working with them, they provided us with different options for how we could tackle the project at each step.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I have no suggestions.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
We’re satisfied with their work, so no.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the co-founder of CUBEcare, a Danish health services company.
What challenge were you trying to address with EVOCODE?
I wanted to increase my company’s online presence. We needed to move some administration things for our partners and clients so we chose to build a new platform.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We spoke about how we could build a system with a backend login for our partners and streamline more processes so the whole operation would be more automated. They then came up with a plan for how to do it and we started working on it. They managed front- and backend development.
What is the team composition?
We worked with backend and frontend programmers, but I mostly spoke with Ivan (CEO, EVOCODE) who was our project manager on the project.
How did you come to work with EVOCODE?
They were recommended to me by a friend.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with them from January–August 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I don’t much about coding, but it seems like everything is working very well. I like the design and I’m happy with the new logo and visual identity. They have been really good about helping us out with any bugs after the launch. Overall, we are really happy with the work.
How did EVOCODE perform from a project management standpoint?
It isn’t very often that you work with a project manager that has this kind of insight in programming and technical processes. I felt that every time I spoke to him, he was able to tell me what was going on and I felt like he had everything under control the whole way through.
He even shared some of their work boards with me so that I could follow the process the whole way through which was nice. At that time, they used Trello, but I was more interested in hearing the updates directly from Ivan.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They have a true interest in delivering quality. I really believe that I got what I paid for and even more. I felt like they were really invested in our success.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anywhere they can improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
It is very important to have weekly updates on the process so you always feel like you are in charge of the project, even though you’re not.
In under 24 hours of going live, the new site already earned a customer. Friendly professionals, EVOCODE was communicative and could navigate multiple stakeholders with ease.
