Originally, we needed help with brand development and website redesign. The main need for our website redesign was that we wanted to pursue a new vertical in providing our services to the workforce industry.

What was the scope of their involvement?
Ever Wonder first engaged with us to help us with a website redesign and development project. Initially, they worked closely with our senior leadership and interviewed them to understand their goals and vision for the new site. During this process, the company decided that it was a good time to rebrand.
Thus, Ever Wonder also helped us design a new logo and everything that stemmed from it. They provided us with multiple versions of the logo to choose from, as well as with color schemes and the general look and feel of the new brand. We iterated on their input until we defined the brand we wanted to go with. The deliverables included our logo, brand colors, new visual assets, collateral and template designs, and a new style guide.
Ever Wonder then applied that branding to our new site and built it on WordPress. However, later after launch, they helped us migrate it to HubSpot because they’re a HubSpot-certified agency.
Over time, our partnership evolved, and Ever Wonder now helps us in five key areas: business strategy and consulting, ongoing brand development, continuous website design, collateral and graphic design, and content creation. As part of these efforts, they help us with our SEO and manage our paid media, including Google and LinkedIn Ads. We also work closely with their team on keyword research. Still, this is a freshly-launched project, and we’re just ramping it up.
What is the team composition?
Brian (Founder & Principal) is our main point of contact, strategy partner, and consultant, so he is in charge of listening to our requirements and working with us on our brainstorming sessions. We also work with a project manager, a graphic designer, a web designer, an SEO specialist, and a paid media manager.
How did you come to work with Ever Wonder?
I wasn’t involved in the hiring process because I hadn’t joined the company yet. However, I know that Ever Wonder was recommended to us by a mutual contact who was working with them at the time.

We started working together around April 2020, and our engagement is ongoing. However, I didn’t join the company until August 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Before we started working together, we only had two workforce clients, and we weren’t known in that space. Thanks to the site and collateral created by Ever Wonder, we’ve generated interest, followers, and a lot of leads. For example, we’ve gone from 100 workforce contacts in HubSpot to over 12,000. This result has been possible thanks to all the work done by their team, including design, advertising, and strategic thinking — they’ve been in charge of all the heavy-lifting work.
As for the website itself, we now have visitors coming in and learning about the solution we offer. Migrating our site to HubSpot was also successful. It has allowed us to use that platform to manage both our website and our digital marketing efforts.
As general feedback, we’ve had a very good experience working with Ever Wonder. For example, we’ve never done paid advertising before, so it has been great to see how much they’ve accomplished with a small budget. They always tweak the ads to ensure that we’re getting leads without spending too much.
How did Ever Wonder perform from a project management standpoint?
Ever Wonder is very responsive and great at sticking to deadlines. We’re not an easy client because we always go through a lot of revisions, so if the timeline ever slides, it’s very likely to be because of us. Still, they’re very patient, and they quickly implement changes we request.
We use Monday and Asana to manage the project, and we’ve also used BugHerd during the web development to provide feedback. Additionally, we use email, phone, and Zoom to communicate.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Ever Wonder is vested in our success. They don’t just deliver what we ask them for, but they actually provide guidance whenever they think of a better way to do things. We truly appreciate it when they provide us with better options to move forward. Brian is extremely knowledgeable and has a very dynamic mind. Now, he’s considered one of our team members thanks to how well he treats us and the great recommendations he provides us with to help us achieve success.

I’m one of the co-founders of Digital Asset Redemption. We work with cybersecurity companies, insurance carriers, and lawyers to help victims of ransomware recover from ransomware attacks. Specially, we help victims by facilitating cryptocurrency payments. The result of the payment is a decryption key.

I'd describe our engagement with Ever Wonder as an overhaul of our branding.

What was the scope of their involvement?
Ever Wonder completely redesigned our branding and related materials using Figma. At the beginning of our partnership, we provided Ever Wonder's team with an overview of our expectations. We wanted to make a splash at a conference we were attending — they had two months to execute the project. They gave us a myriad of options for the logo and branding colors. Their team is on top of trending advertising materials and what will stay relevant down the line.
Their team thought the logo should have a key theme to relate to our primary services. Ever Wonder presented several options of how the key could look, from skeleton keys to video game keys. They thought it would be best to present a logo with a retro aesthetic. So, Ever Wonder incorporated our name and key theme into the logo, along with a cursor, which we'd requested. We wanted the cursor because we thought it was relevant to our company.
Ever Wonder then redesigned the layout and feel of our website; the site was built on top of HubSpot. This project also included another company we'd aligned with, but Ever Wonder ensured the site incorporated both companies, making them thematically similar without any overlap. They implemented feedback we provided immediately; they turned around project pieces very quickly.
Ever Wonder's team also produced a marketing video for the cybersecurity conference, along with business cards, paper materials, and booth materials like banners and backdrops. We had particular requests for the fonts on the business cards — we wanted to use a font we'd used before.

We've interacted with four teammates, but I believe more teammates have worked on our project, including a video designer. We needed a web development partner to help us redevelop our website, creating a kind of lead generation machine. We needed the website to educate our visitors on how our services could improve their businesses, then provide them with a streamlined way to contact us. What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
EverWonder helped us deliver a beautifully built new website in less than three months, and we've seen massive results. The website that EverWonder built has increased conversions by 500%. The previous site's conversion rate was 0.4%, and the new site's conversion rate is 2.5%. Metrics such as time on site and pages per visit have massively increased, and our bounce rate has improved as well.
In terms of SEO, we have seen incredible results. Our organic traffic has gone from 400 visitors per month to 4,000 per month, a tenfold increase. People across our entire business have been amazed, even at the executive level. We're number one on Google for several keyword terms that we've targeted around global payroll, and we have several long-tail keywords on the first page of SERPs. We've seen an amazing turnaround on SEO, thanks to EverWonder.
We've improved our Alexa rank from 2.9 million down to 1.3 million, which is just incredible. Our domain rating and URL rating have improved by 20%–21%.
The WordPress build's documentation is amazing; we have a living document for the website. That's been very empowering for our marketing team because they are able to independently build landing pages. I'm able to build a new landing page in half an hour if I have the content.

Their project management, execution, and delivery have been fantastic across all of the services they've provided. We've collaborated with them on everything, and they've been incredible to work with.
I talk with Mat and Brian on a call every week. We've communicated constantly to make sure that everything aligns with our business needs and the realities of the market. They were referred to me by another larger entity that we partnered with. I was impressed by EverWonder's designs so I asked our partner about the name of their vendor. In the end, they introduced EverWonder to me.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Since we started working with EverWonder, our conversion rate of free to paid users has dramatically increased from 3.5% to 15%. They’ve also done a great job with our calculators because we’ve seen a huge increase in people coming over to our website for that.
How did EverWonder perform from a project management standpoint?
From a project management standpoint, they’re really good, and for the most part, they’re on budget. On top of that, they’re very timely. We communicate through Zoom and Slack, but we also get in touch in person from time to time.
What did you find most impressive about them?
In a way, they're a boutique firm that's large enough to do big projects. Additionally, they have an entrepreneurial mindset, which is another great reason to work with them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They should spend more time planning upfront so that they could execute projects faster and better.

Think about the end in mind. Identify what’s your MVP and clearly define your intentions so that you can plan well and achieve your goals.
