BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and position.
I am the Senior Software Engineer of BIOCORE LLC
Describe what your company does in a single sentence.
We are a team of world-class engineers and scientists that provides testing, analysis, and other consulting services to companies across the globe. Biocore’s mission is to provide the highest level of engineering and analytics expertise to clients dedicated to the understanding and reduction of injury. We do this by performing influential and highly-cited research, maintaining state-of-the-art testing capabilities, and leveraging a global network of leaders in biomechanical engineering and data analytics.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
Euristiq’s involvement spanned from discovery to post-deployment optimization. What set them apart from the outset was their engineering-first mindset. During the initial workshops, they challenged our assumptions and asked questions that others often overlook about how our data moved between devices, how we annotated experimental events, and how knowledge was preserved between researchers.
The project evolved into a full-stack custom platform development that included a powerful backend to process and visualize large-scale biomechanical data, APIs to interface with lab hardware, and a sleek, adaptable UI for researchers to control tests and annotate in real time.
Key deliverables included:
A real-time data ingestion engine with intelligent buffering to manage high-volume sensor inputs. A simulation environment integration module that allowed researchers to overlay experimental and synthetic data. A flexible permissions system to accommodate rotating research teams while maintaining strict data governance. Custom visualization dashboards tailored to the unique KPIs used in injury analytics and biomechanics.
Euristiq also handled DevOps setup, automated testing pipelines, and CI/CD workflows, which dramatically reduced our deployment friction compared to previous tools.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
From a tangible standpoint, the new system has fundamentally altered how we work. What used to take several days like correlating real-time test data with simulation outputs is now done within the same session. Researchers no longer wait for data post-processing; they interact with it live, gaining insights on the fly, which is a game-changer for high-stakes research scenarios.
What struck us most was how seamlessly the platform blended into our culture. There was no resistance from our engineers or scientists only curiosity. That alone speaks volumes about Euristiq’s intuitive UX design and their commitment to user-centric development.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
Project management was consistently sharp. We had a dedicated PM who facilitated weekly reviews, flagged dependencies early, and served as a bridge between our domain experts and Euristiq’s technical team. Even when we introduced mid-project changes such as integrating a new type of sensor Euristiq responded quickly and with well-thought-out technical alternatives, not just reactive solutions.
What was your primary form of communication with Euristiq?
Email or Messaging App
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Euristiq’s real strength lies in their intellectual empathy. They do not just write code; they seek to understand the "why" behind every requirement. They brought a rare combination of technical acumen and research literacy, which allowed them to speak our language not just in documentation, but in the actual logic and architecture of the platform.
One scenario still stands out: during integration testing, one of our senior researchers noticed an edge-case anomaly in the way crash test data was time-synced. Within 24 hours, Euristiq had not only fixed the bug but had proactively proposed a fallback logic to automatically validate timestamps and flag discrepancies in future tests. That level of foresight is uncommon and deeply appreciated in research environments where data integrity is paramount.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Euristiq could have done differently?
While overall communication was strong, there were instances early on where timezone differences created slight delays in feedback loops during urgent iterations. However, once this was raised, they adapted swiftly by restructuring their sprint review cadence to better match our working hours.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
Euristiq approached the engagement with an impressive level of preparedness and structure. After a series of exploratory workshops, they co-designed a custom software architecture that integrated ERP-like functionality with CRM capabilities and real-time analytics for our global partners. The solution was designed to be multilingual and role-based, ensuring a highly tailored experience for users in different regions and departments.
Key deliverables included a cloud-based distributor portal, a streamlined inventory and order management module, and an intelligent reporting dashboard. The platform also supported API integrations with our existing e-commerce infrastructure and our sustainability impact tracking system. They introduced intuitive user flows for back-office teams while implementing data privacy features and multi-layered access control a critical concern for us due to our international footprint.
Throughout the project, Euristiq provided detailed documentation, staging environments for iterative testing, and well-structured sprint reviews. We appreciated their willingness to rework user journeys based on live feedback from our sales leads and regional partners.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The transformation was both immediate and impactful. Teams that previously relied on spreadsheets and email chains to coordinate shipments and product launches were able to work seamlessly within the new portal. One memorable moment came when our distributor in Southeast Asia shared how the new dashboard enabled them to reconcile inventory discrepancies in a single afternoon something that used to take up to a week.
Customer support tickets related to ordering issues dropped sharply, while internal reports that previously required hours to compile could now be auto-generated in seconds. The real value, though, was in how the platform fostered better communication and accountability across time zones. Pevonia’s regional directors now feel more empowered with insights and less bogged down by operational complexity.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
Euristiq’s project management deserves special mention. They were punctual in their delivery, meticulous in their documentation, and agile in adjusting timelines to accommodate last-minute requests or strategic pivots. There was never a sense of rigidity rather, we felt they were just as invested in the outcome as we were. They assigned a dedicated PM who remained our single point of contact throughout the project, and their proactive approach to status updates and risk mitigation kept things remarkably smooth.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What stood out the most about Euristiq was their integrity and craftsmanship. It’s rare to find a development team that balances business logic and user empathy so well. They weren’t just building what we asked for they challenged us when necessary and contributed ideas that genuinely improved the end result. Their UX/UI recommendations helped us achieve a level of usability that exceeded our expectations.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Euristiq could have done differently?
In terms of areas for improvement, there was a brief period during the first month where documentation on our internal processes created a bit of friction. However, once Euristiq proposed co-writing some of the specs with our product team, that bottleneck quickly dissolved. Since then, the experience has been remarkably fluid.

The Hub is the leading online recruitment platform for startups, scale-ups and growth companies in the Nordic region 🚀🇩🇰🇸🇪🇳🇴🇫🇮🇮🇸
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What specific goals or objectives did you hire Euristiq to accomplish?
We needed to scale our internal development capacity quickly, without compromising on quality. Our roadmap was growing, and our ability to deliver at pace was slowing. The goal was to bring in highly skilled engineers who could integrate directly with our in-house team, contribute to core feature development from day one, and collaborate across the entire product lifecycle not just as coders, but as thinkers, planners, and reviewers.
Our legacy systems were impeding innovation. Specific modules like our search engine, analytics dashboards, and CI/CD pipelines—were showing signs of architectural fatigue. The second goal was to partner with Euristiq to identify, re-engineer, and optimize these areas. This included developing new microservices for performance-critical features, implementing modern frameworks, and improving observability and scalability across the board.
The third and perhaps most delicate objective was to deliver all of this without creating instability for our user base. Our platform supports thousands of concurrent users across five countries, so any regression or downtime would have significant consequences. Euristiq’s mandate was not only to build and improve—but to do so quietly, efficiently, and without disrupting existing experiences for job seekers, employers, or internal stakeholders. We needed a partner who could deliver transformation at speed, while safeguarding platform continuity.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
The project scope covered three primary workstreams: mobile app development, web platform development, and the creation of a custom backend that tied it all together through a secure, scalable architecture. Key deliverables included an intuitive, neuroscience-themed mobile coaching app, a web-based leadership dashboard for HR and executive sponsors, and an admin portal for our coaches to track and analyze participant journeys.
The mobile app was the centerpiece of the solution. Designed to be both reflective and interactive, it allowed users to go through daily mindset exercises, receive nudges based on behavioral cues, journal breakthroughs, and track their neural state evolution through guided prompts. Euristiq implemented a beautifully minimalist UI that made cognitive processing smoother aligned perfectly with our behavioral science ethos. Every interaction, from selecting a growth area to receiving reinforcement messages, was built to feel like a trusted guide rather than a digital chore.
On the web side, they developed a robust dashboard that empowered our client companies to monitor team progress, assess leadership capability trends, and pull engagement metrics all while respecting privacy boundaries. This required Euristiq to build fine-grained access controls and encrypted data storage mechanisms that would satisfy enterprise-grade security needs.
Perhaps the most impressive part was the backend orchestration. Euristiq architected a microservices-based backend that allowed each module from assessment engines to notification systems to operate independently but cohesively. They also integrated advanced analytics features, enabling our leadership coaches to gain insight into patterns we had never been able to capture before. NLP (Natural Language Processing) models were subtly woven in to analyze journaling content (with full user consent), helping our facilitators spot emerging themes or internal blockers early on.
Weekly sprints were accompanied by detailed release notes, user testing sessions with real client stakeholders, and hands-on change management documentation. Every milestone was delivered with a clear rationale and measurable impact. They also provided DevOps setup for cloud hosting, ensuring high uptime and global accessibility critical as our clientele spans multiple time zones and regions.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The results of this collaboration with Euristiq went beyond what we had initially envisioned. It wasn't just about having a functional app or a polished web portal. it was about transforming how our clients experience change and how we, as an organization, understand and scale impact. The very fabric of how we deliver leadership development has shifted. We now offer a hybrid model where our high-touch coaching is seamlessly reinforced through digital channels, improving continuity, engagement, and behavioral retention.
Clients who previously required intensive one-on-one follow-ups are now engaging more consistently thanks to the structured nudges and in-app reflection tools. One of our enterprise clients reported that their leadership teams were more aligned and self-directed just six weeks into using the platform. They attributed this to the personalized experience the mobile app provided, allowing leaders to reflect at their own pace while still staying accountable through the analytics shared with their internal HR sponsors.
Internally, our coaching team is now operating with a level of efficiency we didn’t think possible. What once required days of manual data collation is now automated through the coach dashboard, with insights presented in real time. This allows our facilitators to focus on coaching not reporting. Additionally, our business development team now has a compelling demo platform, which has already helped us close several large enterprise deals that were previously beyond reach.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
In terms of project management, Euristiq set the gold standard. From day one, their team was structured, communicative, and proactive. They used a dedicated Slack channel for real-time communication, scheduled sprint reviews with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and managed Jira boards with impeccable transparency. When we encountered unexpected challenges such as our need to change user persona assumptions mid-project they didn’t push back. Instead, they reorganized the sprint schedule, helped us re-map user journeys, and delivered updated wireframes within days.
Their responsiveness and calm professionalism were especially noticeable during user acceptance testing. When a high-profile client encountered a minor but critical bug during their pilot, Euristiq’s engineers were already investigating it before we finished reporting it. They provided not only a patch but also a clear explanation and a long-term prevention strategy.
What was your primary form of communication with Euristiq?

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What stood out most about Euristiq was their ability to deeply integrate into our mission. They didn’t just understand the technical side they understood the human purpose behind what we were building. They took our neuroscience principles seriously, often challenging us to make design decisions that would support not just display behavioral change. That level of alignment is rare.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Euristiq could have done differently?
As for areas of improvement, the only feedback we offered was around documentation for our internal IT team. While Euristiq delivered technical documentation for all components, we would have benefited from a separate handover guide designed for non-developers especially those in coaching and client support roles. That said, once we voiced this, they responded quickly by organizing a series of enablement workshops, walking our team through every component with great patience and clarity.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
From the very beginning, Euristiq treated the engagement not as a standard app development project, but as a transformation partnership. What specific goals or objectives did you hire Euristiq to accomplish?
The primary goal was to modernize our legacy architecture into a more modular, scalable, and cloud-friendly system without disrupting existing users, compromising data integrity, or losing domain-specific customizations that law firms had come to rely on.
We also sought to eliminate the performance bottlenecks that were emerging across both our on-premise and cloud deployments, accelerate feature release cycles through a more agile backend, and ensure compatibility with modern third-party systems such as CRMs and accounting software
. The project had to be done with a high degree of sensitivity, given the nature of legal data, and demanded full compliance with privacy regulations and auditability standards.

Before a single line of code was rewritten, they invested significant effort in understanding the architectural foundation of our legacy CSI Lawyer system. We jointly identified critical modules that required reengineering and defined modernization strategies for backend services, UI layers, and data pipelines. The scope included refactoring our core business logic into modular microservices, migrating key functionalities to a cloud-native environment (while still supporting on-premise use cases), and integrating a modern CI/CD pipeline to streamline deployments.
A particularly challenging area was the modernization of our case lifecycle engine, which is complex due to its configurability. Euristiq didn’t propose a rip-and-replace approach. Instead, they rebuilt each component incrementally, testing against existing data models and usage patterns. They also redesigned the reporting engine to support more dynamic visualizations and built an API gateway to facilitate secure third-party integrations. We received detailed deliverables across all workstreams: updated service documentation, deployment playbooks, modular source code repositories, QA automation scripts, and change management guidelines tailored to both our internal dev teams and customer-facing support teams. Throughout the engagement, they were highly transparent and collaborative, offering technical walkthroughs, sprint demos, and architectural decisions with clearly documented justifications. It was evident that Euristiq was not just checking boxes, they were deeply invested in aligning their solution with our long-term business vision.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The success of this collaboration wasn’t just in the technical migration, but in how seamlessly it was executed without interrupting our existing client base. One of the first noticeable outcomes was the reduction in system latency during high-volume operations particularly during month-end invoicing activities. Our clients reported faster response times and a smoother experience overall. Internally, our development team is now able to roll out new features with significantly less friction, thanks to the modular codebase and the new CI/CD infrastructure. Prior to this, updates involved lengthy regression testing due to the tightly coupled nature of the legacy architecture. Post-modernization, our QA cycles are more focused and predictable, and hotfixes are deployable with near-zero impact on production environments.
Additionally, we saw increased satisfaction from our enterprise clients, particularly those who had long requested integrations with external accounting and CRM systems. Euristiq’s implementation of the API gateway made those integrations much more straightforward. The reporting engine overhaul also gave our clients more control over visualizing their case metrics, billing histories, and account receivables. Our support tickets related to performance have significantly declined. From a business standpoint, this project allowed us to retain long-term customers who were previously considering alternatives due to limitations of our old platform. It also opened the door to serve larger firms that demand cloud-first legal tech solutions.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
Euristiq’s project management style was one of the most refreshing aspects of the engagement. We worked with a dedicated delivery manager who served as a bridge between their engineering team and our stakeholders. Every sprint cycle was well-structured, with priorities discussed during weekly check-ins. They also used a shared dashboard to communicate progress transparently, complete with risk assessments and status updates on each deliverable. Their responsiveness was particularly notable we never had to chase them for clarification or follow-ups. Even when faced with architectural roadblocks or last-minute change requests, the team maintained a solution-oriented mindset. It never felt like we were working with an external vendor; the engagement was more akin to an extension of our internal team.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What set Euristiq apart was their ability to blend technical excellence with domain empathy. They took the time to understand how law firms use our product, what their pain points were, and how legal workflows differ from other industries. That domain understanding shaped their approach at every level be it UX decisions, audit trail compliance, or data migration integrity. Also, their documentation was among the most thorough we’ve encountered, which made internal knowledge transfer incredibly easy. Beyond technical know-how, their team had a calm, grounded energy throughout even when under pressure. That level of consistency and professionalism made the entire modernization journey feel less daunting than it actually was.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Euristiq could have done differently?
If we had to identify one area of improvement, it would be around localization support during the testing phase. While Euristiq’s engineers were fully proficient in English, some nuances in our Finnish- and Swedish-language modules took longer to iron out, partly due to our own limited availability of native testers. In future collaborations, we would consider adding a multilingual QA support phase earlier in the cycle. That said, once these localization gaps were identified, the Euristiq team responded swiftly, adapting their process to include more granular language checks. It’s a minor point in the context of a highly successful engagement, and one that we believe can be easily fine tuned in future iterations.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
The scope of work was extensive and multi-phased. Euristiq began by conducting a rigorous audit of our existing infrastructure, involving close collaboration with our internal teams across IT, operations, and compliance. They developed a bespoke cloud migration roadmap that addressed not only the technical architecture but also risk mitigation, service continuity, and data sovereignt a key concern for us given our presence across multiple regions.
Key deliverables included: a secure and scalable cloud foundation on AWS tailored for industrial-grade workloads; reengineering of critical infrastructure components including virtual networks, access control models, and high-availability clusters; and the full migration of several automation platforms that were previously hosted on-premises. Additionally, Euristiq implemented real-time monitoring dashboards and alert systems, enabling proactive maintenance and operational transparency that we previously lacked.
Their approach wasn’t one size fit all. They created environmen specific templates and automation scripts that streamlined deployment and reduced manual overhead across our factories and facilities.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
One of the most tangible outcomes was the drastically improved system reliability. Before the migration, we dealt with sporadic downtime and latency during peak usage in our production analytics tools. Post migration, we saw smooth performance even under intensive loads across multiple geographies. More importantly, our time to provision new infrastructure resources dropped significantly, which has been instrumental in accelerating product development cycles and enabling more frequent releases across engineering teams.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
Project timelines were clearly communicated and consistently adhered to. We had weekly touchpoints with a dedicated delivery manager, but what stood out was how proactive Euristiq was. On one occasion, we encountered a sudden compliance requirement related to German data residency laws. Euristiq’s team adjusted the roadmap within 48 hours, introduced an alternate deployment approach using AWS Outposts, and ensured that not a single day was lost from the project’s critical path.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What impressed us most was their fluency across both the technical and strategic domains. They understood the nuances of operating within a highly regulated industrial environment, yet didn’t let that stifle innovation. Their engineers regularly proposed optimizations that went beyond the original brief. For example, containerizing several internal tools that had previously been tied to rigid environments, thereby improving portability and uptime.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Euristiq could have done differently?
If there’s one area for improvement, it would be documentation consistency during the handover phase. While their internal technical documentation was robust, some of the operational guides for our in-house teams could have benefited from additional context or visual walkthroughs. That said, their post project support was strong and filled most of those gaps quickly.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What specific goals or objectives did you hire Euristiq to accomplish?
Our goal in hiring Euristiq was to modernize and unify our digital infrastructure by leveraging artificial intelligence, intuitive UI/UX design, and robust custom software—to better serve our producers, optimize our internal workflows, and elevate our public-facing engagement, all while maintaining alignment with regulatory requirements

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
Euristiq’s engagement began with a listening tour. Instead of rushing into development, they spent significant time with various teams from transport coordinators to education officers, policy analysts to communications staff truly absorbing our operational challenges and aspirations. They approached each conversation not with assumptions, but with curiosity and respect for how we’ve evolved as a non-profit.
Once they mapped out the key pain points and inefficiencies, the solution took shape across three key fronts:
AI Consulting: Euristiq identified areas where AI could deliver meaningful outcomes without overcomplicating our systems. This included designing an intelligent data layer that analyzed milk transportation logs to optimize routes and minimize delays, and a recommendation engine that helped our policy team sort through large datasets to prepare timely reports for the Marketing Council.
UI/UX Design: They completely reimagined our producer portal. Previously, our users had to navigate a clunky interface just to complete routine reporting. Euristiq’s team rebuilt it from the ground up with intuitive layouts, accessibility in mind, and feedback loops built into the design. For our educational outreach section, they created a visual storytelling experience that engaged the public in learning about dairy from farm to fridge.
Custom Software Development: Euristiq delivered a tailored software suite that tied together producer registration, logistics tracking, educational content management, and AI-based reporting in one coherent system. It was cloud-native, secure, and modular built to grow with us rather than weigh us down.
They also integrated the system with our existing regulatory tools to ensure seamless compliance and reporting, reducing redundancy and improving response time to government and stakeholder inquiries.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The most noticeable impact wasn’t found in a single statistic, but in how it changed our day-to-day. For instance, our logistics manager, who previously juggled four different spreadsheets just to plan daily routes, now uses a dashboard that provides live status updates and route recommendations. A task that used to take her two hours now takes ten minutes with more accuracy.
Our education team, who often struggled to keep digital content fresh and engaging, now manages an easy-to-use CMS with interactive tools to create dairy learning experiences tailored to students and schools across Alberta.
Producers who once expressed frustration with the time it took to submit forms or get support have shared positive feedback about the new platform. The system anticipates common errors, guides them through submissions, and even surfaces relevant educational resources when needed. It’s not just functional it feels considerate.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
In terms of project management, Euristiq was remarkably disciplined yet flexible. Every phase was clearly structured from sprint planning to final QA, but what stood out was their responsiveness. When a regulation changed midway through development, they didn’t flinch. They reworked the impacted module without compromising the overall timeline, while keeping us informed and involved. There was never a sense of being “in the dark.” Instead, it felt like a well-run partnership.
What was your primary form of communication with Euristiq?
Email or Messaging App
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What I found most unique about Euristiq was their ability to blend vision with precision. Many vendors are either too tactical or too theoretical, but Euristiq struck the balance perfectly. Their team didn't just execute tasks; they asked deeper questions that improved the overall direction. They helped us recognize opportunities we hadn’t even considered like using AI to identify policy patterns that could support advocacy efforts at the provincial level.
They also brought an unexpected level of cultural sensitivity to the table. They understood that as a non-profit tied to public trust, we couldn’t afford to move fast and break things. Every recommendation they made was weighed against the impact it would have on our people, our producers, and our purpose.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Euristiq could have done differently?
If I were to identify one area for refinement, it would be in the onboarding materials provided after launch. While their team conducted live training and walkthroughs, some of our internal users, especially those less familiar with tech would have benefited from simpler, step-by-step guides or short video tutorials. To their credit, once we raised this, they quickly produced custom onboarding content tailored to different user groups.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
Euristiq’s engagement began with an in-depth discovery phase, during which their team embedded themselves into our workflows literally sitting with our foremen, site managers, and PMs to understand the rhythm and friction points of our day-to-day operations. This immersive approach led to a comprehensive product strategy.
The solution they delivered was multifaceted:
A custom-built mobile application tailored for field workers and PMs that included task management, digital blueprints access, RFIs submission, and live status updates. IoT integration for on-site sensor tracking humidity, temperature, and even equipment movement which helped our teams identify potential environmental risks before they became delays. A secure AWS cloud backend that handled data syncing, storage, access controls, and analytics dashboards accessible to leadership and project owners in real time. Their developers worked closely with our internal IT team to ensure secure integration with our existing ERP and scheduling systems. The deployment was phased to minimize disruption and included field testing at two pilot sites before a broader rollout.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
One of the most immediate outcomes we observed was an improved sense of control and visibility across ongoing projects. Our field teams no longer had to wait until the end of the day to upload notes or submit forms critical updates could now be made on the fly, right from their phones. This meant fewer delays, fewer missed steps, and a significant drop in miscommunication between the site and office teams.
Another unexpected benefit was how our clients began to interact with us. Using the dashboards powered by Euristiq’s cloud solution, we were able to offer clients near real time progress reports and environmental readings for their projects. This level of transparency enhanced trust and elevated Nycom’s professional reputation in the eyes of our partners.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
Euristiq’s project management stood out as well. Every milestone was communicated clearly and executed within agreed upon timelines. When we needed adjustments or found certain workflows clashing with how our teams operated, they responded promptly with design iterations or additional support. Their communication was proactive rather than reactive, and they never hesitated to propose better alternatives when they identified potential bottlenecks.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What impressed us most was their ability to balance technical depth with practical empathy. They weren’t just building software they were solving problems specific to construction with a level of insight that’s rare in tech partners. It felt less like outsourcing and more like having a dedicated digital innovation partner within our organization.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Euristiq could have done differently?
No collaboration is perfect, and while our experience with Euristiq was overwhelmingly positive, there are small areas where improvement could elevate future engagements. During the early onboarding of our less tech-savvy field staff, some users struggled to adapt to the new interface. While Euristiq provided documentation and virtual training, an optional in-person support phase at launch could have helped with faster adoption.
That said, they listened closely to this feedback and promptly adapted the UX to be more intuitive in the next iteration demonstrating their agility and commitment to our success.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
From the outset, Euristiq demonstrated a grasp of the financial sector's nuanced demands. Their approach wasn’t just technical; it was consultative. They began with a discovery phase that was as strategic as it was detailed. They engaged key UBS stakeholders from our compliance officers to front-end relationship managers to map not only the technical requirements but the behavioral expectations of our users.
The core deliverables were spread across three verticals:
Web Application Architecture and Development: They built a new modular platform from the ground up using microservice architecture, which allowed us to decouple and manage service layers such as identity verification, secure file upload, and transaction history individually. This became essential for our long-term scale and security goals.
UX Design Overhaul: Their design team delivered a customer-centric experience informed by real usage data and co-created with UBS product leads. They employed interactive prototypes and usability testing to ensure the interface was both visually coherent and functionally elegant. I still recall a client feedback session where one of our long-time clients described the new dashboard as “predictably intuitive.”
Payment Integration: Perhaps the most challenging component was integrating compliant digital payment methods into our ecosystem. Euristiq led the charge in API integration with a third-party processor while maintaining Swiss and EU-level regulatory alignment. Their engineers worked closely with our InfoSec teams to ensure every transaction was audit-ready and tamper-proof.
Notably, the entire implementation was done without interrupting ongoing service a feat that speaks volumes about their ability to plan, test, and deploy incrementally.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The outcomes were visible almost immediately following deployment. Internal teams reported a sharp drop in client onboarding time, thanks to the simplified digital KYC flow. More telling was the change in user behavior we saw increased engagement during off-market hours, indicating clients were more comfortable navigating the platform independently.
One particular win came during an investor summit, where we demoed the new platform to a select group of family offices. Their reception was enthusiastic, especially regarding the clarity of the portfolio visualization tools and the integrated payments dashboard. One portfolio manager remarked, “This brings the private banking experience to my fingertips without sacrificing sophistication.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
From a project management perspective, Euristiq was exemplary. They worked in agile sprints, but their cadence was tailored to our pace, not the other way around. Sprint reviews were structured and succinct, and documentation was always thorough not just for handover, but for future scalability. When we requested a mid-scope change to accommodate a new region-specific reporting feature, they absorbed the feedback, reassessed priorities, and turned around a viable solution within two sprints all without disrupting the broader timeline.
What was your primary form of communication with Euristiq?

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What we found most distinctive about Euristiq was their blend of engineering discipline and human-centered design thinking. They didn’t just deliver what we asked for they offered what we didn’t know we needed. Their ability to move between high-level strategic vision and low-level technical detail is rare
Are there any areas for improvement or something Euristiq could have done differently?
If there’s any room for improvement, it’s possibly in their knowledge sharing cadence with our internal tech team. While we did receive excellent documentation, some of our engineers would have benefited from more structured shadowing opportunities during key architectural decisions. This is minor in the context of the overall success but worth noting for similar future collaborations.
