client over the phone. Below is an edited

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO and co-founder of a startup about to go live. We’re a regional entertainment startup in the Middle East, and we use technology to bring celebrities and fans together.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Eurisko Mobility?
We needed to build the platform from scratch.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Eurisko Mobility took care of the entire development process. I didn’t have a complete scope at the beginning. We started without an existing product so we refined our ideas as we went along. Their input and experience have been instrumental in defining the requirements, product, and business goals. We went to them with an idea and basic design and then developed and refined those as we went.
I’m not too familiar with the technologies they used for development. They built a website and two apps — one for iOS and one for Android — and connected them together. The platform is similar to other personalized video platforms; although, the goal was for ours to have a nicer experience and exclusive features.
It’s basically a platform where users can request videos from celebrities who then receive requests on their app, record the video messages, and then send them to the users. We’ve built a lot of features, a different user experience, and different delivery methods.
What is the team composition?
I’ve worked with 6–7 people from their team.
How did you come to work with Eurisko Mobility?
I asked around my network in Lebanon by going to people who had developed and advised startups in the past. Eurisko Mobility came highly recommended by someone I trust. He said he’d had a lot of experience, and although they’re the most expensive, they were the best by far.
I had a list of questions, in terms of approach and technology, given to me by a friend who was the CTO of a large company here. I asked Eurisko Mobility those questions, and they ticked all the boxes for the technical details I required and decided to go with them. They impressed a lot of my advisors, and also had an impressive list of clients and previous projects.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested around $150,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with Eurisko Mobility in August 2019, and our partnership is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Currently, we’re waiting for the App Store to approve our app. We have the whole system ready to go live. It’s a very advanced MVP that already has many features, and we’re looking to add more as we go.
There have been many deadlines, planning, and a lot of other things involved. In terms of measuring their performance, we had a beta test with a large number of users and big celebrities. The results of this showed that the system worked very well, and everyone spoke very highly of it.
There were no major issues recorded during the beta testing with over 100 users and some celebrities with over 100 million followers on their social platforms. The biggest measure was that this beta test was very successful.
How did Eurisko Mobility perform from a project management standpoint?
We’re all on Jira, and we follow every sprint and task. As a partnership, we use it for the backlog and all the planning as well as to manage the project together.
What did you find most impressive about them?
It’s definitely their experience. If we give them a task, they challenge it and explain why they don’t think it’s the right approach. Their partnership spirit and experience really stand out. Their team really looks after us.
We’ve worked with other developers on other projects, and they just didn’t care. We’d tell them to do something, they’d do it and charge us for the hours, then we’d notice that it wasn’t the right decision for us. Then, we’d tell them to change it back, and they’d charge us again to redo the work.
Eurisko Mobility doesn’t have that approach. If we ask them to do something, they challenge us and make sure they understand what we’re doing. We either convince them or they convince us. They have a true partnership spirit and integrity for their work. It’s clear they’re not looking to charge us, but rather to build the best product.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, nothing comes to mind immediately.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
I’d advise them to trust Eurisko Mobility and follow their process from day one. Sometimes, the process can be annoying, where they ask a million questions before starting something or ask us to write down our requirements and acceptance criteria exactly.
As someone who’s not technical and is just excited to launch a startup, I’d want them to take a lot of things for granted and worry about them later. However, they force us to really write everything down so that we’re thinking through it on our own and have specific KPIs and deliverables to work against. I recommend that people follow the process, even though it may seem meticulous at first.

BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I’m the general manager of UniQuiz Pty Ltd.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire Eurisko Mobility?
We hired them to develop our trivia app.
What were your goals for this project?
Our goal was to create a game that could attract as many people as possible and get us into this industry.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor?
We were looking for a professional, reliable and experienced company. After we met with more than 20 companies, we chose Eurisko for their extensive app development experience, including with high-security applications; their creativity; and their effective team organization. We met their staff at their office and saw how they worked together.
Describe the project in detail.
After confirming the terms, we held several online meetings and conference calls to discuss the design, UX, and all the features. They did UI/UX design and backend development and integrated a CMS.
What was the team composition?
We communicated directly with a project manager and a lead designer. They also allocated separate teams of developers for Android and iOS.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Within a few weeks of release, we’d received good ratings from users on the App Store and on Google Play. The bugs and flaws were very minimal and didn’t affect the app at all.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Their project manager was always available to listen to us. She gave us ideas and recommendations which helped in different scenarios. The time difference between our teams didn’t affect us, as they were available at all times and they kept in touch to discuss development progress.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their creativity and professionalism stood out.
Are there any areas for improvement?
They could take their designs to another level and reflect their potential if they advanced further on the creative side.

Eurisko Mobility has built several native iOS and Android entertainment applications. They handle design, development, and project management.
The apps function smoothly and present very few bugs and errors. Eurisko Mobility impresses with their prompt communication, reliable deliveries, responsive Agile approach. Their developers are both creative and technically skilled.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We are a leading multimedia company. I manage the Digital and Mobile projects.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Eurisko?
We needed help developing our mobile app.
SOLUTION
What is the team composition?
I mainly work with three people within Eurisko. I usually work with their founder & CEO and their technical CTO, and we handle our day-to-day operation through one of their project managers. I liaise with the developers or designers.
How did you come to work with Eurisko?
We initially found them through a referral. They keep submitting proposals and we keep choosing to accept them. They have lost some opportunities but won many others. We don’t give our work to only one company, but they are one of our preferred vendors that we usually approach for new development briefs.
How much have you invested with them?
We have invested an average of $30,000-$40,000 on each app development, and they’ve built 4-5 apps so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in May 2016 and the work is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We have Google Analytics, along with many other tools, to measure engagement and track performance. We compile reports on downloads, page loads, concurrent and active users. We also assess how many bugs need to be fixed and how many crashes occur. Those errors are very minimal.
How did Eurisko perform from a project management standpoint?
They follow an Agile methodology for project management, reporting on time weekly and scaling their efforts if needed. Whenever anything urgent arises, they report it immediately. We communicate with them when necessary.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They always suggest new ideas based on the latest technology. They are quite creative as they invest in their R&D.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Although they delivered on time, they could improve by speeding up their deliveries and using a more flexible schedule. Instead of completing a project in three weeks, they usually commit to finishing it within four. Sometimes it can’t be done in three weeks because their workload prevents them from dedicating resources to the project.

Eurisko developed an iOS and Android application—currently in its third iteration—which allows users to locate stations, customize boards, and view promotions. They continue to assist in features addition.
All KPIs, including download rates, frequency of use, and page visits, are positive. Eurisko’s team is friendly, and they possess a strong comprehension of their service areas. Their prompt problem solving is also notable.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We’re an oil and energy company based in Lebanon, and I’m head of marketing communications.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Eurisko Mobility?
We needed to develop a smartphone application.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We have a retail business, and we wanted our customers to be able to locate our service stations in Lebanon. The app had many lists in terms of other visuals and content. We developed the third version of the app this year.
We developed other features to give clients the possibility to have a personalized or customized board for their reminders, insurance and taxes for their cars, payments, etc. We also wanted to provide them access to ongoing promotions, and show the service stations where these promotions are happening. The app is for Android and iOS.
What is the team composition?
When we started working with Edgard [CTO & Co-founder, Eurisko Mobility], he had some project managers and QA resources.
How did you come to work with Eurisko Mobility?
We’ve taken tenders from many companies for every big project we’ve had. We chose Eurisko due to their proposal regarding the look-and-feel of the app, which was much more appealing than others, regardless of price. They are also one of the key suppliers in the market. The content was mainly something we had in the brief, and we knew what we wanted to have in the app.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started tenders in 2012, and began developing the project at the end of that same year. The app launched a long time ago, but every year to 18 months, we have a new version. We launched the third version in April 2017.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We have statistics displaying the number of people downloading the app, frequency of use, and which pages are visited most often. We continue to develop further versions because we’re happy with the statistics we have. The KPIs [key performance indicators] are well-achieved.
How did Eurisko Mobility perform from a project management standpoint?
We usually communicate by email. If we have any issues, we explain over the phone. During major milestones of project development, we have in-person meetings. Their team is professional, and they’re knowledgeable about their work. Like in every business, sometimes we are not technical people, and we don’t specialize in these type of apps. It’s sometimes hard to make ourselves understand some issues or solutions, but, overall, we’re satisfied with the service.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They have a friendly team who has solid comprehension of what they do. When we have an issue, they often find a solution very quickly.
Are there any areas they could improve?
None. We're fine with what they're doing.

The team provided mobile developers and UX experts to augment the staff. Together they developed an app for iOS, Android, and web and built a digital onboarding website to increase customer engagement.
The app launched, and customer feedback is positive. Adapting to a different style of project management than they’re accustomed to shows their flexibility. Their unique characteristic of having gamification teams helped to develop an app that is attractive to a younger demographic.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of a retail bank in Lebanon.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Eurisko?
We needed mobile developers to augment our teams and UX experts to join our team.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Eurisko worked on two major products. The first one was our transaction banking app. The other part is the digital onboarding in which the customers can apply and start filling out the banking application.
We had customer-centric goals. We wanted to create an impact on our customers. We wanted to create something people would respond to and be interested in. We wanted top-notch features on our app. Those were the high-level KPIs [key performance indicator] that we set for work with them.
They created the application for iOS, Android, and web. Our web version is Angular. We had to design everything mobile first. Then, we reflected it in the web version.
What is the team dynamic?
We had around six developers working on our online banking and another six on our digital onboarding product side.
How did you come to work with Eurisko?
I used to work with them with my old company. I was introduced to them five years ago. I’ve worked with a lot of companies in the country. I chose them because they know how to work with startups. They have a nice team. They have good UX designers. That was the main differentiator.
How much have you invested with them?
We have invested $300,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in 2015, and the work is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We just launched the app two weeks ago. We’re starting to get good feedback from our customers. We’re hearing very good, positive feedback.
How did Eurisko perform from a project management standpoint?
They are very good. We had daily standups. We used Slack, Skype, and on-site meetings for the sprint reviews and sprint grooming. It was a combination of multiple things at the same time. We were changing our operating model. We went with full-fledged Agile with Squads and Tribes. We asked them to change the way they usually work. We augmented our team with their developers. They follow our lead mostly when it comes to Scrum and the way we’re going to operate in the Squad.
What did you find most impressive about them?
It’s one of the few companies in Lebanon that has gamification teams. This really helps when developing apps that are meant to target millennials and the youth in our country. It’s one of the few companies we’ve dealt with that could add gamification at the same time.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I would recommend that they start with MVPs. Test them with the customers before going full-fledged on different strengths and moving forward. Start with small MVPs. Share prototypes with customers and get grounded feedback, and then start.

Eurisko developed two versions of a cross-platform app for mobile banking. Besides bug and beta work, collaboration continues to expand for new projects in the future.
Well organized and professional, they've provided high-quality app development at a competitive price, which has led to a successful app launch and a long-standing partnership. Their passion for the industry allows them to keep up with rapid changes in technology.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m head of the system and technology unit in the marketing department of a bank. I’m in charge of all the channels, including mobile banking and e-banking.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Eurisko?
We needed help building a mobile app.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We’ve done two versions of our mobile banking app, launching the first one in December 2010 for iOS, Android, Windows Mobile, and Blackberry. We launched an improved version in September 2017 for iOS and Android. Since then, we’ve been expanding our collaboration together, giving them more projects for the future.
What is the team dynamic?
In 2017, we had a dedicated team of five to six people divided between iOS and Android. They have one team for iOS and the UX/UI specifically for that platform, and they have one team for Android with their own UX/UI.
How did you come to work with Eurisko?
We launched a bid for our native mobile banking app. They came forward because they were a new team. Since we're a small market, everyone wants to have a bank in their portfolio. Here in Lebanon, in the banking sector, we're very strong. Having us in their portfolio would be important for them. They showed us what they did, and we were interested and included them in our pitch. They’re the only team that provided us with a working proof of concept as a mobile app. We were amazed. We understood that they were serious and knew what they were doing. They were also competitive with price, being new.
How much have you invested with them?
For this project, the second mobile banking app, below $200,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working with them since November 2009, and the work is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
It’s been one success story after another. The metrics are our customers’ feedback, our mobile adapting app usage, the ratings we've had, and the good ratings we're still receiving. In the new mobile app, we’ve recently included an option called, “assess your experience.” So far, among roughly 100,000 unique users per month, we have an experience assessment of four out of five.
How did Eurisko perform from a project management standpoint?
They are well organized and meet their deadlines. Whenever they commit to a certain sprint, they deliver on time. They have an internal policy concerning bug-related issues. They have their own testing team and try to come up with as many bugs as possible before sending us a beta. We always have something to notice or change, but it’s as clean as possible when we receive it. They are meticulous and professional from this standpoint.
We consider ourselves partners more than customer and service providers. We have many projects in the pipeline and are moving quickly with them because the market is ferocious, technology wise. You’re either a leader or a follower. We’re in constant communication with them either by mail, phone, or an internal platform they've set up for us to communicate our needs and bug issues.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They are good researchers and active. They don’t stick to their line of business but always search for new technologies. They presented us with possible future projects for banking augmented reality and virtual reality. They always buy the latest technology and are up to date and ahead of the game. We're currently developing an iChatBot. They came in with the proposition and started building it. They're not only a service provider or partner but also our eyes in the market for new trends and how we need to move in the next steps.
Are there any areas they could improve?
So far, we’re happy with the way they are. They could increase the team size because they have multiplied their business and their services. If it’s not necessary today, it will be in a few months.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Listen to Eurisko’s advice. Don’t hold onto your opinions. Sometimes their advice is wise and the right way to go. Broaden your horizon, and listen to what they have to say about certain features or how to move forward with a certain plan or project. Sometimes we have an idea and we stick to it. At the end of the day, though, we see that they were right.
