Please describe your company and your position there.
I am a Product Manager at Polymarket.
For what projects/services did your company hire Etheric?
We hired Etheric to improve our site visuals and to improve the discovery of our different products. We built a product that was very utilitarian but wanted to take it to the next level.
How did you select this vendor?
I saw their previous work with traderjoe.xyz and I loved the way they further improved an already well-known design.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
I first had a call with the founder who was asking about the scope, timeline, and vision for the product. He then sent over a document detailing the process, and once that was signed, I was connected with a design/research team who began asking further questions. Once those questions were answered, they began their research phase and presented me with the research. The team then started the design process and we kept iterating until we reached a product that was desirable.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I was mainly in contact with the team lead. Not sure how many others there were under her. But the turnaround was very good!
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our backlog is quite full at the moment, but I will be sure to track metrics once this design is implemented.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Their workflow was very effective, and their response times were quick. I don't use Discord too much so my response times could vary just with the number of notifications from spam DMs and other servers I was in.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I really like their designs. It's hard to find people who get DeFi and can design well.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I think that it would've been nice to see some lower-fidelity wireframes before the ideas were developed further. By the time I saw it, we were already headed in a direction that made sense but I could see there being scenarios where I would've felt locked in.

UI/UX Design & Branding for Online Booking Platform
"We never dealt with timeline-related issues throughout the project because Etheric always followed our schedules."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the co-founder of an online booking platform that specializes in visa reservations.
What challenge were you trying to address with Etheric?
We needed their team’s expertise in UX/UI design.
What was the scope of their involvement?
I initially contacted Etheric for their expertise in web design. They used Figma to redesign the UX/UI of our existing booking platform. It was a complex project because we needed their team to integrate multiple solutions into the website. They ended up delivering two design options for my team to choose from, and we went with the more timeless version.
We were satisfied with their UX/UI design work, so we decided to have them take on some branding work, too. Etheric redid our logo and color schemes to match the current look of our website. They also gave us branding suggestions to consider in case we plan to expand our business.
What is the team composition?
We worked with a project manager and two designers.
How did you come to work with Etheric?
I found Etheric’s profile on Dribbble and reached out to them.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around €8,000 (approximately $9,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
The project ran from April–May 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We saw a 200% increase in our total earnings and conversion rates upon implementing Etheric’s design. We knew the only way to compete with our emerging market competitors was to improve our online presence, and Etheric met our main success metric by doing that.
How did Etheric perform from a project management standpoint?
We mainly communicated via email and had bi-weekly check-in calls to examine their design work. We never dealt with timeline-related issues throughout the project because Etheric always followed our schedules. They also respected our budget — they never asked us to pay additional fees.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Apart from their undeniably impressive skills in design, Etheric had the ability to simplify complex design terms for us to understand — this thoughtful approach amplified our involvement in the project.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They had no one assigned to write the minutes of our meetings, so it was challenging to recall specific details when we needed to. We gave them our feedback regarding this matter, and they already addressed it by hiring a dedicated member.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Hire a good internal project manager who can communicate your goals to Etheric’s team and closely monitor their performance. If they understand the purpose of your project, they’ll deliver your exact design needs.

MVP App Dev for Private Aviation Company
"Etheric constantly evolves and improves their processes while adapting well to ours."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a product owner at Instajet, a private aviation company. We offer fight reservations via our application.
What challenge were you trying to address with Etheric?
We needed their development expertise.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We’re a startup in need of an MVP, and we’ve tasked Etheric to head our development efforts. They’ve built our platform from scratch, implementing our design and functionality requirements.
The app has user-specific features, such as filtered search options to optimize UX and help customers pick their flights, availability, and destinations before finalizing their reservation. Once the reservation gets in our system, our staff chooses the best aircraft available for the passenger.
What is the team composition?
We mainly interact with 2–3 members, but they’re a team comprised of under 10 resources.
How did you come to work with Etheric?
I found one of their developers through an event. We worked together on previous projects, and I liked their responsive and supportive approach. I then reached out to them again when we needed a team to take on this project for our startup.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent about $25,000–$50,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our ongoing project kicked off in April 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Etheric has built a professional and marketable MVP for us — users have been particularly pleased with its seamless and sophisticated UX. We’re also impressed with the design suggestions that they’ve come up with, which have contributed to the refinement of our product.
How did Etheric perform from a project management standpoint?
We mainly communicate via Slack and conduct periodic virtual meetings, and we rely on Trello for project management. We’ve initially experimented on using different platforms and methods. As a result, we’ve found it challenging to have a consistent workflow; however, everything’s improved once we’ve reached the development stage.
Since we’re a startup, I feel responsible for each outcome we get out of the partnership. Etheric has done their part in streamlining the process, especially in addressing our change requests — I personally just hope the turnaround times have been quicker.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re highly adaptable and feedback-oriented — they respect our requirements and process our feedback professionally. Etheric constantly evolves and improves their processes while adapting well to ours.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We can benefit from their improved scoping and planning skills. As I’ve mentioned before, we’ve faced some issues in setting and meeting timelines — such scenarios may be avoided if Etheric refines those characteristics.

Please describe your company and your position there.
Our company focuses on Advanced Data Analytics, providing services in Data Engineering and Data Science fields. I am co-owner and COO of the company.
For what projects/services did your company hire Etheric, and what were your goals?
We have developed our old website on our own at the time when the company was just founded several years ago.
The goal was to make new, modern, well-looking websites that would enable us to present our past projects, expertise, and the team in a better way and enable the visitors to easier navigate through the pages and find the information.
We also wanted to add new features like a blog or presentation of our products.
How did you select Etheric and what were the deciding factors?
We had a good recommendation from a business partner. Also, we met one of the Etheric developers in a company for which we also deliver services and have seen very good work done by Etheric for that company. The price was reasonable.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We had several iterations with Etheric, all of them well structured and informative, thanks to that we could see the progress and shape the websites. Etheric have done the design of all the pages, though about different special features, visualizations, and inter-linking elements to make our website modern and unique.
They discussed with us why they think the functional design features would work, but were also very opened to our remarks and integrated very well all of our requirements. They built up quickly a prototype that was shaped continuously to the final form.
A Webflow framework to build the sites was used, Etheric also gave us all the instructions on how to manage the site content on our own.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
It was Andriy (design lead) and Ruslan (senior software engineer) who were responsible for both the design and development.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Internal feedback from our employees on the new look of our websites was very positive, all of them referred the sites to be more intuitive, with a much better look & feel, and simpler to find relevant information. Empiric measures are yet to be collected.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
We had several iterative meetings, all of them well structured, meeting minutes collected, and stored in the cloud. We had a shared notebook to collect thoughts and agreements. Work was delivered in time, all the milestones were met.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They have high senior designers and developers and also very good project management and communication skills. They have a unique team and listen to customer requests. The overall experience with guys is just great.

We started off planning the different screens of the App, agreeing on UI/UX things and laying out the guidelines for the final design. We worked it out milestone by milestone adjusting and finally got an amazing design!
What was the team composition?
I'm not sure, I know that there's a illustrator and a guy that designs.

The App has been released and people are IMPRESSED by the design. They are overwhelmed by the degree of professionalism and beauty.

the reviewer
the review
The client submitted this review online.
Please describe your company and your position there.
I produce websites and mobile applications for small to medium businesses.
For what projects/services did your company hire Etheric?
I needed a reliable outsourcing partner to help me boost my clients internal development team for a new product. In particular I needed developers with strong experience developing native mobile applications and web applications.
What were your goals for this project?
I wanted to increase the velocity of our sprints for a fixed period and within a set budget. I wanted to ensure the company I hired had a good attention to detail when it came to the user experience and look and feel of the product. I wanted a team who could think on their feet and find solutions to user experience constraints associated with our chosen stack. I also wanted developers that could work efficiently alongside my clients internal developers, communicate effectively and work to processes we had in place.
How did you select this vendor?
I short listed a number of vendors that I found via sites like Clutch. 3 companies were considered but the decision came down to stack experience, attention to detail and cost.
Describe the project in detail.
The product Etheric worked on was a social network with complex messaging functionality and registration processes. It required native iOS, Android and web applications with a headless backend.
Etheric was responsible for full sections of the product which were broken down into epics across multiple sprints. Wireframes and Designs were provided but needed to be reviewed and amended based on stack constraints. Etheric helped find solutions for these constraints which maintained the integrity of the UX and Design.
What was the team composition?
Initially the team consisted of 2 Senior Developers from Etheric. This eventually ramped up to 4 developers - 2 Senior and 2 mid-weight. Throughout the project we had one Senior Developer who oversaw the solution architecture for the sections Etheric were responsible for.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Etheric were able to help us deliver to time and budget while ensuring the solutions provided were to the highest standard. The code they provided was clean and well formatted with clear mark-up. User testing detected minimal bugs. My client and I were delighted with the partnership and would easily hire Etheric again.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Etheric worked to sprints set out by me in Jira. We held daily sprints via online conferencing with Etheric and my clients internal developers. We then used an instant messaging platform for back-and-forth comms throughout the day. Communication was very clear throughout which I thought would be a challenge given language barriers and time differences.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I was very impressed by their experience with our chosen mobile stack. Their problem-solving skills when it came to finding solutions that worked with the stack were exceptional. They were event able to help educate my clients internal team on areas of the stack which was looked at with awe. Their patience and collaborative approach made the experience a very positive one. My client and I were delighted with the partnership and would easily hire Etheric again.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I honestly couldn't find much room for improvement. Things can always be done faster but I'd rather them be done right the first time which is the experience I had with Etheric.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of 23Mercer, which is a wellness consulting company. I’m launching a startup for one on one engagement.
What challenge were you trying to address with Etheric?
I hired them to help with the app for the one on one engagement.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They're doing the entire UX/UI of the website and app as well as the wireframing from scratch. Some of the features they’re working that we needed are the ability to play and upload a lot of video to the talent’s profile and their ability to upload their availability as well. I’ve also hired them to create a landing page.
What is the team composition?
Our primary contact is Andriy (CEO & Design Lead).
How did you come to work with Etheric?
I found them on Upwork and I really liked how they kept referring to this work being their craft. They also gave me a lot of time during the interview process, which I liked.
How much have you invested with them?
I’ve spent about $7,000 so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together in February 2020 and the work is currently ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Their impact has been huge. I really just had an idea and they take all my concepts and put them into an app layout. They’ve taken it to another level and it’s just continued to accelerate.
How did Etheric perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re adaptable to any type of communication I want, which email and phone work best for me. We also used Skype a little bit. They’re always available and meet all deadlines. Their communication is very clear.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their ability to pull a concept out of my head and put it into reality is the most impressive. Without even me knowing, it’s exactly what I want which is pretty cool. Andriy is also really easy to talk to and is understanding of people and our relationships; some developers just code and it’s hard to talk with them. He’s the real deal.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there’s nothing.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Come with as clear concepts as possible and express your desired timeframe. Give a creative concept and allow Andriy to add his creativity to your concept.
The project was completed in a timely and high-quality manner. Etheric worked iteratively, making sure the final designs and end product lived up to the client's expectations. Furthermore, their workflow was effective, and they always responded to questions and requests promptly.
