Brass Lantern Inn
George from Brass Lantern Inn wanted a website that best represented his inn. We chose to focus on beautiful photography, their story, and their impact. On the website, we feature their stunning guest rooms, a booking bar, their deals & specials, as well as some delicious recipes George makes for breakfast!

Ski Vermont
Eternity built a powerful website that allows website visitors to search for a ski resort that matches their geographic, activity, and amenity preferences. The site also dynamically pulls ski conditions and trail reports from SnoCountry & TrailHub.

Leonardo's Pizza
Food is life, and pizza is the best kind of food. We built an image-centric website that streamlines the process of ordering food from Leonardo's. The Order Online button is ready, apparent, and promptly directs you right into ordering your food. The menu, and the rest of the website's content is available through the hamburger menu.

Vermont Wood Works Council
We crafted a beautiful new logo and brand, as well as designed and developed a completely new website for Vermont Wood Works Council. Their previous logo was outdated and their website was antiquated and impossible to manage. We delivered a simple to manage website with member directories, event registrations and member dues payments.

Love Burlington
We worked under a tight deadline with the City of Burlington to provide them an amazing repository of local Burlington businesses. With advanced filtering, right down to the specific neighborhood, we created a clean, accurate and information-rich directory to help find exactly what you're looking for.

Please describe your company and your position there.
Trusst connects clients and mental health providers on a secure, private, HIPAA-compliant platform designed to fit today’s demanding lifestyles. Using an app, those looking for therapeutic support can get started with a leading local provider right away using messaging-based conversations.
Licensed mental health professionals are able to use Trusst to more easily expand their practices, help more clients, and augment their income in the face of declining reimbursements within the industry. I am the Co-founder and COO of Trusst.
For what projects/services did your company hire Eternity, and what were your goals?
Trusst's legacy website was fully custom built, cumbersome to manage and expensive to maintain. Eternity was hired to complete a fully site migration which included a user friendly CMS system.
How did you select Eternity and what were the deciding factors?
Eternity was referred to Trusst by one of my former co-workers. She had worked with Eternity on several projects and had nothing but good things to say about the team. The primary deciding factors in our section of Eternity were:
- Strong gut feeling about the team
- Cost
- Quality of solution
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
Migrate the existing look and feel of trusst.app into open-source MODX CMS which a provides full access to manage all pages, text, content on the site. Update the look and feel of trusst.app to match Trusst's updated visual style guide.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Mike Lannen - Founder Rob Liberty - Senior Designer & Developer
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Eternity's work surpassed my expectations. The new site looks better than I anticipated and the team solved a really tricky technical issue around our clinician application process. I'm really quite thrilled with the outcome.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
Eternity created a detailed project brief before kickoff and we managed the deliverable cycle via Zoom meetings and Slack.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I've worked with a lot of marketing firms over the years. Everyone talks a good game about work quality. However, the team at Eternity actually took personal pride in delivering an a website they could stand behind. They were responsive to feedback and willing to go the extra mile for requests outside the original project scope.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
No. I'm looking forward to continue collaboration with the Eternity team.

I am the Community Relations Manager at a non-profit transportation company, Rural Community Transportation. We help our community members get where they need to go safely and affordably.
For what projects/services did your company hire Eternity, and what were your goals?
Our website had become outdated and needed an enitre overhaul. Eternity helped us from conception to execution.
How did you select Eternity and what were the deciding factors?
We chose Eternity out of a cometitive group of Web Developers, because of their responsiveness, their personable customer service, and most importantly, the way they immediately made us feel they had the best command of our scope of work. It was clear from the first conversation they had the ability and the knowledge to follow through with what we were looking for.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
First we had to outline what we were looking for in our new website. We had to research other transportation sites and develop a style in keeping with our brand. We had to hire a photographer that provided the proper photos for the new site.
We had to have Eternity code the entire site and develop the features we were looking for.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
There was a project manager who was our main point of contact. He was professional, capable and responsive. There was a copy editor who helped with conveying our messaging and there was the founder who popped in to answer any specific questions. In all Eternity engaged in wrap-around supports for us and kept the project moving swiftly forward at all times.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The end product is second to none. It is organized, visually appealing, and easy to maneuver through. We could not be happier with the end result. Eternity was able to do everything we asked in a timely, professional, stress-free, and even fun, fashion.
On the first day of launch we had customers using our new contact form. We have had an increase in applications for careers directly from our site. We have received general positive feedback about how useful and navigatable our new site is.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
Eternity uses a platform called Slack to stay connected to the clients. It was excellent because it was easy to read through all of our collaboration, upload photos and documents, and stay on track.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The body of knowledge of each team member was evident. Also their ability to be passionate about our project, to share excitement, and have fun with the work made it especially enjoyable. We felt that they cared as much as we did about creating exactly the site we were looking for. They were able to be personable and professional, and that made the entire project smooth and successful.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
At first the copy editing was a bit confusing, wrking in the Google Docs could have had a bit better flow and communication but we did get it worked through and all was more than well.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Vice President of a small manufacturing company. We produce a very specialized range of products for niche segment of the stone industry.
For what projects/services did your company hire Eternity, and what were your goals?
We hired Eternity to rebuild our website. The original site was built around an e-commerce platform with subtly complex functionality. It had served us well for nearly 20 years, which made the project simultaneously long overdue and a formidable undertaking.
The Eternity team listen carefully to our specific challenges, critical features, and took into consideration our tertiary business operations. They then provided solutions that were the best fit for our business.
Not only has the resulting website proven to be a powerful sales and marketing asset, but we have also gained a collaborative web development relationship that continues to contribute directly to our growth.
How did you select Eternity and what were the deciding factors?
We were searching for web development team that was as local as possible and rightsized to our business. Eternity checked these boxes, but also proved to be a good cultural fit during initial conversations.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
Eternity presented an initial proposal that accurately represented the scope of our project, laid out preliminary timelines, and identified key technology platforms. A series of kickoff meetings and the preparation of preliminary workplan documents helped to establish context for the project. Initial mockups were presented, refined, and converted to wire frames within the proposed timeline.
With top level design and navigation solidified, Eternity built a customized MODX content management platform with FoxyCart e-comm integration.
Eternity's team members were very responsive throughout the platform orientation process. Despite delays related to client content migration, Eternity remained engaged. Leading up to site launch, Eternity remained organized, accessible, and responsive. As a result, the site launch was executed smoothly with full confidence.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Mike Lannen served as our primary project lead, and very effectively coordinated work with respective team members. In addition to Mike's technical expertise, our project benefited from the contributions of (2) additional highly skilled Eternity team members.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We have seen a 75% annual increase in e-commerce revenue in the (2) years following the launch of our new website. And, considering the platform's capacity for further development, we're optimistic about the potential for continued growth.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
Key members of the Eternity team were accessible and very responsive through the entire project, and continue to be as we've transitioned into the service/maintenance phase. They have always kept to their timeline commitments, and offer multiple methods for maintaining clear lines of communication.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Everyone has their preferred set of tools -- there is a desirable efficiency that comes with stick to what's familiar. However, the Eternity team has consistently demonstrated a willingness to seek solutions outside of their immediate shortlist of preferred platforms. I think that's a fairly unique attribute to find in a web development firm, and a testament to their team's collective talents.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
No!

I am the Director of Operations for the Interlaken Inn, an 88 room property located in Lakeville, Connecticut
For what projects/services did your company hire Eternity?
We were looking to recover our online identity after a few years stint with a less successful website
What were your goals for this project?
We were looking to increase traffic to our website in the form of hits but also conversion through our adwords campaign
How did you select Eternity?
Mike had worked with our property for many years as webmaster before making the change to a full scale marketing firm. After a few years of declining online presence we revisited Eternity Web and came up with a great plan to regain my lost online identity
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
Eternity laid out everything in a scope of work document and explained the process entirely. We worked on what our property's vision is with the team and let them provide us with 3 mock up designs. Once we selected our basic design, we rebuilt our entire website on Eternity's platform with this design in mind, and created SEO oriented copy to make sure our presence online was returned to where it was before our loss of "viewership" during our years without Eternity/Mike
What was the team composition?
I have worked with Mike closely as well as Kolby, one of Mikes web designers
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Since his joing us, we went from 90,000 users to 165,000 users and a lower bounce rate
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We use Slack to communicate and keep in touch with Mike and Kolby and the team is EXTREMELY responsive to our requests. I have messaged many weekends when I know there are limited staff and still have received instant responses, it really is quite nice.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I have known Mike professionally for a long time (decades) and it has been great to watch his team and company grow over the years. They have a great understanding of my area and business. Covid has been hard for everyone, ourselves included, and Mike has worked with me financially to ensure I have had no loss of accessibility to him and the team

I am the founder and CEO of a Vermont-based consulting firm offering career strategy consulting classes and services to Sustainable MBA students at UVM’s Grossman School of Business, bootcamp students at the Burlington Code Academy, as well as private clients.
For what projects/services did your company hire Eternity?
My website needed to be updated and modernized.
What were your goals for this project?
I wanted the website to better reflect me – both visually and with copy – so that visitors would get a sense of what it would be like working with me.
How did you select Eternity?
Our paths have crossed many times over the years – we have many friends/colleagues in common. Every person I know who has worked with Eternity has had a positive experience!
Describe the project in detail.
There was quite a bit of discovery early on where I was guided to describe what I was looking for, and they helped translate that into a project plan. After that, it was up to me to provide copy, other content (e.g. photos), and feedback.
I dragged my feet on this piece for a year – so even though my dates I filled in earlier show the project started in early 2019, it really got going in March of 2020. Once I had the photos done and the copy more or less nailed down, things went pretty quickly.
What was the team composition?
I mostly communicated with my project manager, Kolby Kruger, who was wonderful, and I had access to the owner, Mike Lannen, whenever I wanted to speak with him.
There were other Eternity team members who worked on pieces of the project but that was invisible to me. I also had a copywriter who I hired separately – she was given project access (via Slack) and the ability to communicate with Eternity as a full member of the project.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
I don't have formal metrics, but what I can say, anecdotally, is that I've received inquiries through my website, feedback from these inquiries indicates that they chose to reach out to me because they had a positive feeling about "who I was" based on my website (one of the goals I had for the site!). Also anecdotally, I've received many compliments about my site from professional colleagues.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Slack was our main mode of communication - I thought workflow was great.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I really appreciated Mike and Kolby’s patience. This was a hard project for me – from copy, to photos, to design – none of these areas are strengths of mine!
There were times that I didn’t think it would happen at all (due to my own delays) but they kept me positive, so even though it took a while we finally got there in the end!
Are there any areas for improvement?
Not that I can think of...!

We collaborated with Eternity on this job as provider of photo and video services, to enable their website development. It is one of many projects that we have collaborated with Eternity on, with them doing everything from development to digital marketing, and SEO.
How did you select Eternity and what were the deciding factors?
In this instance, we partnered with Eternity. But on subsequent jobs, we have selected Eternity to provide digital marketing services and SEO services for mutual clients.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We had several meetings to discuss goals and collaborating to meet the client's needs, then discussing how best to use the deliverables.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the CEO of Vermont Surrogacy Network. We are the only surrogacy matching organization in Vermont, helping connect and support people looking to build their family through surrogacy with incredible women who want to carry a child for them.
For what projects/services did your company hire Eternity?
We came to Eternity to bring our business dream into reality. We are a web based company, who relies on our site to drive clients from both sides of our business to us and to spread the word for us about the work we do. Eternity built our website, designed our Google Ad account, designed our logos and branding, allowing us to hit the ground running.
What were your goals for this project?
We needed to have a fresh look with a Vermont feel, in order to become a competitor in a market with much larger players. We have since grown to be very well known in Vermont and New England.
How did you select Eternity?
We contacted a few website design organizations in Vermont and found they were way out of our budget. Eternity offered pricing we could work with, which came with unbeatable customer service, attention to detail and on going support.
Describe the project in detail.
From our first meeting with Mike and his team, we knew we had made the right choice. Following our initial brainstorming session, they put together a comprehensive proposal, which was thorough yet easy for us to understand and follow, as newbies to this process.
Following our acceptance of the proposal, they set up a Mission Control portal and entered in the plan and the timeline. This was used to track the project and process, to let us know where they were at, what they needed from us and where we could find mock ups of our designs along the way.
We had continual access to the process and felt very involved and included at all times. We would have meetings every 1-2 weeks, based on the decisions that needed to be made and updates for the process. Within a few weeks we had branding complete, and a website framework for our website.
They were on schedule with every step they promised, as well as launching our site at the beginning of Sept. They followed up regularly for the next few months and assisted with Google Ad updates, Analytics and putting together social media.
What was the team composition?
We worked with a project manager, along with a lead design and graphics person, and 2-3 other individuals working on their parts of the project.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We have been in business for 6 years now, with continual growth due to the initial project Eternity designed and implemented for us. They have worked with us to keep our Google Ads updated, social media current and whenever we have found a hiccup along the way. We wouldn't be here without Eternity!
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Impeccable! We were always impressed and encouraged by just how well organized and structured the project flowed with its many moving parts and people. Mike and his team really took away the challenge of this project and gave us peace of mind that we were in the best hands.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Honestly, I would have to say that the understanding and compassion that this company brings to the table with each project is always impressive. Every time I have contacted them with a question, a concern, or what felt seemed like a catastrophe for the business, they always responded promptly with empathy, support and guidance.
They are always ready to help, because they truly want your business to be a success as much as you do. That is not something you see with many businesses, Eternity makes you feel like you are part of their team and they have your back.
Are there any areas for improvement?
If there is an area that needs improvement, Eternity would find it before anyone else...they are always checking their own service and standards. So, no...I have not seen an area in my 6 years of working with Eternity that needs improving.

I'm the VP of marketing for a family-owned inn-to-inn bicycle tour company. Discovery Bicycle Tours has been around for over 43 years, and my husband and I have been running it for about 2 1/2 years along with our team.
For what projects/services did your company hire Eternity, and what were your goals?
Eternity initially helped us with the design for a new website and later helped us improve our search and display ads. (They are also helping with a side project to create YouTube video ads, which is a new area for us.)
How did you select Eternity and what were the deciding factors?
The expertise, professional credentials, and personable interactions we have had with the staff created the potential for a great working relationship. Their knowledge of the digital space is outstanding. And their experience working with other companies in the travel and hospitality sector helped us choose Eternity.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and campaigns.
They were very organized and pushed us to set deadlines for providing material, creating proper connections to various media, etc. ... at which time they swiftly got to work creating ads, organizing digital channels, and reporting on results.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Mostly we worked directly with one or two people. We have the most interactions with one of the founders of the company.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Our search results versus our competitors, most of which are larger companies with more resources, have been outstanding. Keyword ranking and search results have been among the top for our close competitors. And the retargeting ads Eternity created for us have been extremely helpful. This has been a difficult year for the travel industry, so each consumer touch has been of extra value to us as a company.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
Our primary contact person is extremely responsive and able to jump in to take advantage of new opportunities. We are very grateful for his attention and expertise. They are very aware of deadlines and go above and beyond to meet their obligations.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
For the size of the company, Eternity brings great talent and personal attention. During this difficult time, that has been a comfort ... knowing we can rely on them to have our backs and provide the latest expertise in a rapidly changing digital environment.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I can't think of any areas where they could improve. I would have liked to meet more in person, but that was not advisable during this year of COVID-19.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I own an awards and engraving company focused on organizational customers and filling their recurring needs. We are woman-owned and have a very skilled staff and high standards.
For what projects/services did your company hire Eternity?
I had waay over spent on an unappealing, unworkable website. It was a disaster and I was a bit skeptical about the whole industry. But Eternity came in, listened to what we needed, rather than just telling us what they did. They quickly developed a plan for a new - visually stunning site that is extremely easy for me to curate. Since then they have taken on the SEO, web marketing and ads.
What were your goals for this project?
Initially to have a workable, attractive, site that my current customers could use and that would attract new prospects. The pandemic has made it clear that we need to expand our geographic reach (awards are an easy thing to cut in hard financial time - not good but easy).
How did you select Eternity?
I interviewed three companies whose owners I knew from business mixers, board memberships etc. Eternity was the only one who - as mentioned above - listened to our needs rather than telling us what they do.
Describe the project in detail.
In detail... hmmm (2017 feels like a decade ago) the staff and I filled our questionnaires as a start then we got a number of designs to review. We mixed and matched what we liked most. As everything we do is completely custom, pricing can be a challenge - one the previous sites had not addressed well.
The MODX platform suggested by Eternity and chosen by us has worked beautifully and the Eternity team is superb. One comment I have had from my customers is that my site is so personal - it's obvious someone in the business is writing about the products. And I am rather insistent about that so the backend needs to be something easy for me to work on. The two previous sites were very tricky. The online marketing and ad strategy I leave to Eternity - they know what they are doing and I'm better off focusing on my areas of expertise
What was the team composition?
Mike Lannen, the owner has been a customer of ours from before I realized what his business was. We have had awesome point people and I'm often on Slack with Rob, Carlos, or Mike but Mike is always there for big picture questions.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We have chosen not to have an e-commerce site. We tried that with the last website and the sales staff hated it. Frequently a new customer would buy a product not really geared to what they wanted or they were unclear about something and sales had to call the and frequently reverse the whole sale and start over. But, we do get a large percentage of our sales through the online order form and until the pandemic we were growing nicely.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
My 'team' is actually just me. Initially I had one of my sales staff offer but it was a bit beyond his computer capabilities. The workflow between my company and everyone at Eternity is outstanding. The backend site opens with a place to post a query and now I've got a page on their Slack account which often gets questions answered instantly.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Just how much they care. Mine is a pretty small company - 5 people and $550,000/year in sales but I might be their most important account for the care I get.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I can't think of anything. I don't really care to understand how SEO is done, I just want it to work and they are fine with that. I feel completely safe just handing it to them knowing that whatever they do will be done right.

Please describe your company and your position there.
Goodman Construction, Inc. is a family owned and operated residential and small commercial construction company based out of Waitsfield, Vermont. We are a design/build contractor and coordinate all phases of construction. I am the owner of the company.
For what projects/services did your company hire Eternity?
I hired Eternity to design and build a new website for my company.
What were your goals for this project?
We needed a better web presence. In today's world a huge majority of people are doing most of their research through the internet. Before Eternity, we had a home made Weebly website that was just subpar at best. We were not getting any web traffic and the content on the site was not very appealing.
How did you select Eternity?
Proven results. Right from the very first meeting, it was pretty clear that Eternity could do things I certainly could not do on my own. Everyone in the company is very professional and the skill level is through the roof. I felt comfortable very quickly with the entire organization and never looked back. And I am very thankful I didn't!
Describe the project in detail.
Complete website overhaul. Basically took my homemade Weebly site and threw it out the window. Eternity worked with me to get completely new site content - page layout, written language, pictures, etc. Then they created a stunning new website that is just lightyears ahead of what I had before.
What was the team composition?
We were assigned a project manager/designer right from the start. This ended up being our main point of contact throughout the project. The communication was amazing. The programs Eternity has set-up for seamless communication is pretty impressive.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The results were instant and the results were/are amazing. The appearance of the end product is one thing, but did it create results for me? The answer is yes over and over again.
With my old Weebly website, I received about 5 job inquiries over a 5 year span. With the new Eternity website, I am getting about 2 new job inquires every week! And the inquires I am getting are very high quality and exactly what I am looking for. The website has been structured to attract the exact type of client I am trying to attract.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Seamless. The communication was amazing and often. I always knew what was going on, what stage the project was in and it was clear what information I needed to get to Eternity. It was an amazing team effort.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The end product speaks for itself. It is beautiful, functional and we are seeing amazing results. But Eternity's communication was probably the most impressive of the project.
It is a huge commitment to have someone build your website so it is important to be very comfortable with who you are working with. Eternity gained my trust right away and the rest is history. Just an amazing experience all around!
Are there any areas for improvement?
I don't think so. Everything is spot on from the very first meeting.
The site looks better than what the client anticipated because of Eternity's efforts. On top of that, the team has solved a complex technical issue in the clinician application process. The team delivered a website that surpassed the client's expectations.
