JLL - Magento eCommerce / SEO
JLL approaches us about building a new website which had more focus on sales and conversions. We approached the project by firstly identifying what the current site lacked and investigating its performance and once we were in a position to advise a solution we produced a proposal which included our recommendations and frameworks that would meet their requirements.
"For eCommerce it's imperative to choose the right framework, for today and for the future."
The new visuals came quite organically and weren't subject to revision after revision which can hamper some projects. It was important for our Design team to liaise closely with our Digital Marketing department as often as possible so that the original goals of the website could be met.
This site is built on the Magento framework - It features a bespoke theme designed and developed by eSterling in Birmingham, UK.
- 36% Increase on Conversion Rate
- 16% Increase in Page Sessions
- 12% Drop in Bounce Rate
- 10% Increase in Average Session Duration
A year after the brand new eCommerce store launched, the website had seen a huge increase in traffic, sales and revenue. By working closely with JLL and improving rankings we were able to improve monthly turnover.
The Bounce rate dropped by 12%, Page sessions increased by 16% and eCommerce conversion rate improved by 36% since the sites launch.

Landowner - eCommerce Design, SEO & Adwords
Landowner Product are one of the country's leading producers of Adblue, N-P-K-S liquid fertilisers and foliar nutrients and are also manufacturers of liquid animal supplements.
When building an eCommerce website from scratch you often have a raft of data that tells you how the existing website is performing and where you can improve its UX & UI. In this instance there was no existing website - we had a blank canvas and the other websites within the industry didn't match Landowners aspirations.
With no 'market-leading' website, we set about building one.
We worked closley with guys at Landowner to craft the perfect look and feel which complemented the already existing branding and together with our conversion expertise we've created an easy-to-use, easy-to-maintain website which is built to convert.
- 213% Increase in Conversion Rate
- 57% Increase in Session Duration

ILG - Website Design & Development
When working with a corporation of this size it is important to know the business inside out and once the initial vision was discussed, we then set about planning the structure of the website along with the intricacies and detail that would eventually make this project come alive.
The real work began with the design concepts which outlined the complex features of the home page and due to our understanding of ILG's core values we were able to produce a home page that blew everyone away. Using the Wordpress framework we were able to marry a stylish front end with a super powerful content management system which allowed ILG to really take advantage of Wordpress' engaging and simple to use interface.
The project features an interactive home page with numerous elements which outline ILG's core values and unique selling points. A categorised portfolio section is also featured which shows the brands ILG work with.

Custom Web Plaform for Industrial Adhesive Supplier
"They’re great at interpreting my ideas and bringing them into reality."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a sales and marketing support specialist for an industrial adhesive and bonding supplier.
What challenge were you trying to address with eSterling?
In a previous project with them, they built us a website. For this project, we asked them to develop a password-protected resource area for an important customer of ours. They wanted their team to be able to easily access the technical paperwork, instruction manuals, and tutorial videos that go with our products. Much of this information is confidential.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We’re about to launch the solution. At the start of the engagement, I provided them with a variety of resources including technical datasheets, videos we had put together about the products, frequently asked questions, and other manuals that they implemented into the platform. As they did when they built our website, they created this solution in WordPress. At the moment it’s tailored to one customer, but it was designed to be easily scalable for use by other customers of ours.
What is the team composition?
I work directly with Wave (Commercial Manager) and Nassia (Project Manager). I know they have a full team behind them supporting their work.
How did you come to work with eSterling?
I’ve been with this company for about eight years, and we’ve been working with eSterling the entire time. We’ve kept returning to them due to the good working relationship we’ve developed.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent about £1,000 (approximately $1,400 USD) on this project.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve worked together on this particular project since January 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Since the platform hasn’t launched yet, we haven’t been able to get feedback from our customer yet. In what I’ve seen, though, the aesthetics and the build of what they’ve done are really impressive. They’ve fit our requirements exactly. I’m really pleased with their work and I’m excited to share it with our management team. Their team provides us with quarterly metrics on the overall website’s performance, so I imagine they’ll be providing us metrics about this solution as well.
How did eSterling perform from a project management standpoint?
As the scope of this project has grown, they’ve been flexible in meeting deadlines. Their team does well with incorporating our feedback, even when it slows down the project timeline.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re great at interpreting my ideas and bringing them into reality. I really like working with them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
More communication would be great. I sometimes feel like the onus is on me to keep up with them and make sure everything’s running according to plan.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Plan out what you want prior to approaching them and have any necessary resources ready for them. If you have everything prepared, they’ll work quickly.

Web Dev & SEO for Fitness Equipment Retailer
"Everybody that I've personally worked with from eSterling's team has been exceptional."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the senior manager for a sports equipment retailer. We sell home fitness equipment, including cardio machines, weights, and yoga equipment.
What challenge were you trying to address with eSterling Ltd?
We needed them to create a new website and help us with SEO.
What was the scope of their involvement?
eSterling developed a Magento website for us. They are currently helping with our SEO efforts. They give us reports every now and then to keep us up to date with that.
Their team also offered a maintenance package, but we haven’t joined it because those services are still covered in the initial brief. However, if we want anything new or changed, then we would have to pay for that on top of the monthly fee for the package.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with a developer who purely works on our website. We have another 2–3 contacts, but I’m not sure about their positions.
How did you come to work with eSterling Ltd?
Initially, I wasn’t really involved in the project because I took over someone else’s position when that person left the company. That person had more to do with the initial setup of the website.
However, I was able to join in a few early planning meetings, and that all seemed to go really well. eSterling brought us into their office to sit down and chat. They got a few developers involved, and we went in-depth about how we wanted the website to look and what we wanted to achieve with it.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked on the website project from November 2018–January 2019. They continue to provide SEO services.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Since the website was released, we’ve seen a steady increase in people coming to the platform over the last couple of years. Our sales have gradually increased as well. Everything is going up — we haven’t seen anything that could cause real concern.
Everything has gone really well. We’ve run into normal issues you come across when working on websites. In terms of feedback, we haven’t had any customer complaints about the site nevigation, so we take that as a good thing.
How did eSterling Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?
We tend to do a lot of tracking in terms of SEO. If there is anything that we require, we just exchange emails with them; if we need to explain anything in detail, we arrange a meeting over the phone.
'They usually get back to us within a suitable time frame. They schedule everything and let us know in advance when to expect the developer to look at our website. That way, we have a time frame through completion.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The fact that they are local and we’ve been able to actually go down and speak to people has really helped us. Everybody that I’ve personally worked with from eSterling’s team has been exceptional. None of the members of our company have had any issues with their team.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We’ve had some issues with a new payment method feature that we wanted on the website. They updated it, and it caused a fault with something else; however, all of that was resolved fairly quickly. It’s just occasionally that when they resolve one thing, it causes another problem. Again, it all gets resolved in the end.
Though the solution has yet to launch, internal feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. The aesthetics and build of the platform have fit the client’s requirements exactly. As the scope of the project has grown, eSterling has continued to remain flexible and incorporate necessary feedback.
