eSageIT came into existence when our existing clients in the United States of America and Europe who are given 24X7 technical support for Business IT and Management IT Services suggested us to start with Web Development & Designing, SEO, etc; a new chapter came into existence. Since then, there is no looking back. Thanks to the trust invested in us by our employees and clients. The organization was one man show which has more than 40 employees in the family of eSageIT. We value the importance of the relationship that reflects our deep rooted relationship with the employees and our clients. A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
Pointclick Technologies provides customized hosting solutions to big enterprises and small businesses. I’m a senior systems engineer.
What challenge were you trying to address with eSage IT?
We wanted to rebuild our website from DNN [DotNetNuke] to WordPress and to brand and customize our PHP-based ticketing and billing system, WHMCS. We also wanted to integrate our 3rd-party add-ins and more functionality to the code of the WHMCS.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They went through all the sections of our existing website and came back with their review. We discussed its functionality, which included 3rd-party plug-ins, as we wanted our blog articles to be posted to social media as well.
We redesigned extra sections in the new website, forwarding all the content from our writer. eSage IT helped us with the traffic, formatting, and layout, making it mobile and tablet friendly, as well as more SEO friendly so our blog writings could be indexed properly. We didn’t hire them to do SEO, though.
We showed them the billing and ticketing system functionality we needed, along with the file structure, so they could work on branding. We created a test and solution. They breezed through our existing system to this test bed, which is where they worked. Once it was done, it was uploaded on our servers, and we worked with them on revisions.
They completely changed the UI of our website, making it more modern and dynamic. Our headers used to be static, and we can now put reviews and photos of our clients in our testimonial section. They helped us turn graphic images into well-designed picture images so we can explain our offerings in a better way.
How did you come to work with eSage IT?
We found them from one of our contacts from India, who gave good reviews about them.
How much have you invested with them?
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in January of 2017 until March 2017.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We are satisfied with the quality of work. We showcase our business in big events from Microsoft, Sitecore, or DNN. It's handy that they can see our offerings clearly on our website. That’s where it's really made an impact. We have a better website and better offerings, and it’s designed very well, which is how we're getting leads.
How did eSage IT perform from a project management standpoint?
They were always available over Skype for screen-sharing sessions. Otherwise, we used calls and emails. As soon as we reported issues, they would fix it by the next day. They were quick at making changes and giving us the reasons.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I liked that everybody was honest. If there was something that couldn’t be done, they were straightforward about it. They never give a false picture and were flexible when it came to payment terms. They were also very supportive, and they still support us if something comes up. If it's something we missed when we did the final review, they're ready to fix it.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We wanted to have a mobile app too, but we had extensive requirements, wanting to integrate our cloud offerings as well. But that was something they couldn’t offer. Other than that, it was a good experience and I have no complaints.
