This project aims to create a platform for ERP and Shopify's API to communicate and sync information between the 2 Databases.
The project's first step was to create a Virtual environment where the program would take place. Parth Kapadia Suggested hosting the server on a Digital Ocean Droplet, which we agreed to. At this point, EQuest started building the framework for the program. Parth suggested working via ProofHub, which has been easy and friendly throughout the process.
At this point, Parth introduced me to Vipula Ahjolia, and I started following the evolution of the project with Vipula via ProofHub. Vipula segmented the project into multiple Tasks and subtasks, and they started working on it piece by piece.
They Created all ERP customers based on the argument I sent them and the mapping fields requested. Since the mapping wasn't optimal, as I described it to them, I asked them to make some adjustments, which they did quickly.
Then, we moved on to the Dealer part of the project. The process was similar, except we needed to add Longitude and Latitude to the meta fields, which were meta objects instead of customers.
Then, for the product part of the project, I've already created items in the Shopify store. I asked them to keep them as is while syncing, which I know created an issue on their end, but they managed to find a way to sync all products without deleting the one already made and be able to sync these products even though they hadn't been created form the ERP to Shopify link.
Once all products were created, they detailed to me the Cron jobs they set up to be able to update data in Shopify from the ERP according to the field mapping I provided. Once they've tested if everything was working, they asked me to review it. In the meantime, I created some products that weren't in the original request; therefore, they weren't updated, which I addressed to Vipula, and they corrected the issue immediately!
Then, they moved on to the order section of the project. I've provided the mapping of the fields, and they created the program. Unfortunately, I haven't gone through the mapping, so I've added some more along the way, which they changed without any problem.
For this part, I discovered the ERP API at the same time as them, and they have been a great help in this whole project; when there were parts that I didn't fully understand, Vipula scheduled a call to explain to me in depth the details I needed to know to move forward.
One time, we had an issue with payment because the payment required to be applied elsewhere in the API other than the Order Section, and the tracking needed to be fetched after the ERP had fulfilled the order. I had an issue understanding their issue, so Vipula scheduled a call, explained the problem to me in detail, and didn't hesitate to bring a developer(Kushal Jani) in to dive more deeply into the API with me. They both did an excellent job!
Finally, they moved on to the last part of the project, which was handling custom US pricing in the Shopify market. Even though the handling of Market from Shopify wasn't familiar, Vipula checked with their developer and got back to me once it had been done. There were a few adjustments to be done even though, because of the product, I duplicated what I mentioned earlier in the description of the SOW, but they handled the adjustment in no time, and we were good to go live with the first store.
Then, they migrated everything set up to another store that needed the same features, and we adjusted a few things regarding shipping for the new store. This led to the adjustment and maintenance phase, which I am currently in and covers three months after the end of the project.

The project's outcome is the integrity of the data being created and currently synced across the two stores they worked on. At this moment, even though we're in the final phase of the project, which is maintenance, I see that the integrity is precisely as I requested.

The project management went great. They delivered later than the original ETA, but this was due to my demand for the project. After I approved the pushback of the due date of the project, they agreed to do some work, and when the ETA was short, they didn't hesitate to tell me and let me know that they would have an issue meeting the due date if we moved on with this extra mapping I just asked. So at the end of the day they delivered on time and precisely as I requested

I’m the founder and CEO of MYBYK, one of India’s largest public bike-sharing companies.

What challenge were you trying to address with eQuest Solutions?
We had no in-house staff, and I wasn’t from a tech background. I was a chartered accountant with more of a qualification perspective. I knew nothing about technology, so I had to find someone I could trust more than anything else.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
eQuest Solutions has been our tech partner since day one. They’ve built our entire tech environment, and we work on a dedicated resource model with them. They have a team working for us; they’re in charge of meeting our requirements occasionally.
The team handles everything from end to end, including mobile app development, backend development, and server management.
They constantly work on improving the UX design, even if we haven’t asked for that. Our main application is on PHP, and the mobile applications are designed in React Native. We also have a Node.js server for our IoT devices.
MYBYK works like a ride-hailing platform. When users open the app, they can see nearby available bicycle stations based on their location. When they click on the bike station, they can see a list of the bicycles and the last user feedback to make an informed decision when renting the bikes. Users must pay for an advanced subscription when they choose their bike to rent.
Once they subscribe, they can unlock the bike via Bluetooth, so eQuest Solutions has worked toward integrating IoT devices into the app. Once the user unlocks the bike, they can ride it like a personal bicycle, take it to their home or office, lock it, and unlock it as many times as they want. If they're going to return the bike or swap it with another one, they have to come back to a station, unlock the bike, and make a request to return it.
We check for the location of the bicycle and the user’s ride via GPS. If the location matches the station, the user can rent another bike.
What is the team composition?
We currently have a project manager, six backend engineers, three engineers on the mobile application side, two people on QA, and one person on UI design.
How did you come to work with eQuest Solutions?
It was a referral. I connected with them almost 10 years ago through our common network. I could only judge their skills by giving them tasks and seeing if they could deliver. Ultimately, I became one of their first clients.

I was given frequent updates and access to the website as it was being built so i could provide feedback. The quickly fixed any issues i found and were able to find and fix issues i didnt even think about.

They just work,these days there are tons of companies overselling themselves but under delivering. eQuest solutions did what they said they would and in a timely manner. Some things shouldnt be done based on whos the lowest price but rather whos the best for the job. eQuest Solutions was right for the job, and I have no regrets about going with them.

The only complaint i have is the time zone differences. The team at eQuest starts their day at around 11:30 p.m. EST so they generally respond late night. This was not the end of the world but it was the only complaint i had.
