We've been working with Encomage for over 4 years. During this time, they helped us upgrade Magento a few times, installed many extensions and patches, and wrote a lot of bespoke code and customisations to cater for the clients' specific needs.

A stable site that works well, has the features we want and need, and team availability when we need additional work done on the site.

We love working with Mihsa - as our project manager, he answers quickly, ensures that he understands the task and asks questions if he needs clarification. He ensures that work is completed on time and of high quality. 

Anna, our dedicated developer for the project, is brilliant and produces high-quality code. She understands the requirements and delivers quickly. 

Supervised by Andrii, Encomage's CTO, and Oleksandra, the Service Design Manager, we always know we're in good hands.

Together, we’ve invested hundreads of hours into meaningful improvements, with their team  across our Magento stores — covering everything from ongoing support and optimisations to the development of new features.

What stands out most is their collaborative approach and genuine dedication to understanding our business. Our fintech company is a platform that allows your company to quickly and securely accept or send payments through the most common and popular payment systems. Selecting our fintech company is the choice to scale your business to new markets abroad.

For what projects/services did your company hire Encomage, and what were your goals?

Our project was quite ambitious: the main goal was to build a fintech platform from scratch, that’s why our need was to find experienced developers who will assist us in creating the whole infrastructure.

How did you select Encomage and what were the deciding factors?

We conducted multiple interviews with different companies, and Encomage was the most skilled and available in quite a short time. The main factors that gave these guys advantage included positive reference, their expertise, and fair pricing policy.

Guys from Encomage managed to produce the unique complex solution for us. Their efficient work resulted in: creating the customer cabinet and payment gateway admin panel from scratch, also all personal cabinet parts were designed.

We received a ready-made payment platform, which successfully serves dozens of merchants. Encomage team successfully combined the qualified web development in terms of the fintech, payment gateways integration and different custom solutions development, e.g. merchant’s cabinet made from scratch.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The team for our project development included team lead, 2 developers, QA and project manager, everyone was skilled and experienced, that’s why we had quite comprehensive support.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

I should say that Encomage has the most positive influence on our project and business in general, ‘cause both were created in cooperation with them. Our common efforts resulted in a brand new financial platform which constantly attracts merchants. Our clients provide only positive feedback about the UX and general interaction with our platform.

Our main person of contact was Andrii, who is the CEO of Encomage and the team lead on our project. He’s the one in charge of the whole process organization, from the simple task management to the weekly meet-ups etc. We’re extremely glad to get acquainted with the whole Encomage development team and with Andrii especially.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their careful attitude to the provided solutions and project support. They work pretty conscientiously in order to deliver the best valuable solution in any field.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The overall collaboration with these guys was pretty good, we would recommend them to all our partners and acquaintances.

The company is an e-retailer of complex niche consumer goods (2000+SKUs). I'm a co-owner and ecommerce/enterprise technology director.

For what projects/services did your company hire Encomage, and what were your goals?

I first hired encomage to fix some outstanding issues left over a boondoggle of a magento setup that was done by another company. Over time I had them do more involved customizations to improve the operating efficiency of my ecommerce business.

They did customized systems such as automated shipping, very complex shipping rules, a purchasing management system from scratch, a product serial number tracking system, and integration and debugging of dozens of extensions including a custom secure payments module. We customized several extensions to do what we wanted.

How did you select Encomage and what were the deciding factors?

They were economical and the team lead Andrii had good responsive communication. I tried them with small tasks which were successful so I increased the complexity and investment over time.

In addition to work mentioned in other parts of this review, they also did much custom frontend development such as rendering complex product attributes on product pages, integrating wishlist buttons and fulfilling all my requests to make small details 'just right'.

I worked with the team lead Andrii, and various (half a dozen) developers who took on various tasks and projects as needed. The leader Andrii is very responsive to issues especially any emergencies that come up at all hours of the day.

He takes responsibility to ensure all deployments go smoothly. Andrii has given me good advice on which development strategies to use for upgrades, payments security, and others.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

One memorable outcome is when our order fulfillment process became highly efficient due to Encomage's customizations. A lot of complex logic is handled automatically handled in the background and the human only needs to do one click.

This lets us ship orders extremely fast, such that customers rave online about how fast it is compared to our competitors ("I placed an order at 9am and it was shipped before lunch"). Even during busy times, one or two employees can ship dozens of orders per hour and keep order backlog very small, making the rest of business operations and answering the phone much easier to handle.

They use a digital agile/kanban board to manage tasks. This makes it easy to see at a glance what is in progress and what items are ready for me to test and verify before deployment.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It's easy to hire them on an ongoing/as-needed basis, and they can draw on many developers, so it's like having a big development team at your disposal without the need to have them on constant salary.

This project required a Magento 1 to Magento 2 migration, that was the main purpose at the start. Also we were interested in redesigning of the web-store in general and increasing it’s work speed and efficiency.

I reached out to several other companies. After weighing everything out, including scope, price, and conversations, I felt Encomage was the way to go. They were very timely in sending their proposal and were serious from day one, so I chose them.

We’ve started our cooperation with the process of migrating from Magento 1 to Magento 2, ‘cause that was a goal #1 for us. I was pleasantly surprised by quality and speed of the progress, and also by the unique approach to our project in terms of careful and timely support, including weekly demos.

The next point we’re reached together was new design of the web-store and total reinventing of the existing Magento theme, which, as all knows, are the goals for true professionals, and guys from Encomage turned out to be just like that.

The project is handled by 3 developers and the project manager. Also, we’re always keeping in touch with Andrii, the CEO in Encomage.

Encomage is a true discovery for me. We can definitely tell a difference in how the site functions after their involvement: it runs more smoothly and there are fewer errors, particularly with JavaScript.

Overall, the UI provides a much better experience for our customers.

Andrii, CEO of Encomage, is the most responsible, liable and serious man we’ve met and is ready to handle all our projects and ideas.

I'm able to contact them at any time of the day and have them answer immediately and get an issue fixed.

I always have a direct contact with the developers which simplifies the process of the info delivering.

No, they’re receptive to feedback and always return work in a timely manner. I’m very glad to cooperate with them for so long and hoping to achieve even more challenging and interesting goals.

Encomage has developed and implemented such things as: general customization for the online store, creation of the separate website under the same Magento, redesign of it and creation of a slider for home page

They have multiple experts for Backend and Frontend development. In this way there were able to solve the problems and develop our website in a very professional manner. Oleksandra P. (e-commerce project manager, Encomage) was our main point of contact. Which made the communication in English very easy and efficient.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Encomage was a vital partner in making the solutions successful. All processes were scheduled and all the tasks were completed in time. We received updates and news concerning our project regularly and they always were very cooperative.

Encomage’s project manager Oleksandra P. was in charge of this project, as was mentioned earlier, and she has organized her work very professionally. During all the process of our cooperating the communication was on a high level, which made it possible to work very effective and to finish the project faster as the required deadline.

Very good english knowledge. Extremely high communication quality. Very friendly. Perfect customer support (24/7 Reachable in case of problems)

Encomage is able to manage every ups and downs without reducing the pace of their work. They are very flexible and have a high level of expertise, performing professionally in their work in every area. (Frontend / Backend etc.)

We needed the assistance of a professional web development agency that was experienced in creating Magento extensions.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to create a new payment method extension that sends order data to credit agent (SOAP).

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

Since Encomage was knowledgeable about Magento in general and also it's extensions especially, we decided to work with them. It turned out to be the right choice.

We had a certain payment method that laked plugin and extension for it, the initial goal was to create them for extension to be able to provide credits with a certain bank directly through the Magento. Within this project the Magento admin part was modified, and the reason was the ability for the store's manager to be able to monitor client's credits automatically. Also different additional info was added to be displayed there.

They completed the project to our satisfaction, at the moment our online store is successfully using the payment method Encomage has developed for us.

It was very effective. We communicated with Andrii (CEO, Encomage), who was always available. As team leader, he distributed the work based on the skills needed. It was nice to talk to just one person. Since Andrii took care of everything, he made the process easy for us.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Andrii had good communication skills and was always responsive. No task or challenge was too difficult for their team. We would be happy to work with them again in the future.
