Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the manager of Washington Property Group, a company established in 2008 that manages both residential and commercial properties.
What challenge were you trying to address with EmpireSoft?
We needed a website for our company.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They completed a website for us from scratch. We gave them some design requirements, but they built it from the ground up. They constructed a backend that lets us add and list rental properties. It allows users to schedule tours online. We also now have a blog, so we’re able to upload articles, pictures, and videos.
What is the team composition?
I had a project manager who served as my primary point of contact, so I’m not sure how big the team was.
How did you come to work with EmpireSoft?
They were recommended to me by a friend of mine who was familiar with their work.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent less than $5,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together in January 2020 and the website was launched in February of that year.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They did everything we wanted; the internal team was satisfied with their work. We were monitoring their progress, and they were receptive to feedback and updates. The site’s up and running now, and it’s functioning the way we want it to.
How did EmpireSoft perform from a project management standpoint?
They were excellent on this front, which was a huge relief given the time-sensitivity of the project. They excelled at staying on top of their schedule. They’d always get back to me in a few hours, so they were exceptionally responsive despite there being a time difference.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’d highlight their professionalism and customer service. They went the extra mile for us, adopting changes that we requested on the fly. I appreciated their flexibility and their willingness to go beyond the strict project scope. They showed us that they appreciated our business. We’re now working on establishing a long-term relationship.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No. I’m happy and satisfied with our website. Our website is our business card, and it now represents us correctly.
