The EmoPPU app works through BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) connectivity i.e. connects with the FDU/VFX AC drive control panel through a Bluetooth connection.

 

Using the app, you can monitor all running parameters and easily control the functionality of the AC

drive like speed, parameter update, run, stop, languages etc within normal Bluetooth range, approximately 10 meters from your device.

Our Solution

Emorphis mobile application design and development team, came up with a tech-savvy unique industrial application – mobile app. The mobile app with the help of Bluetooth 4.0 interface can operate to control the Emotron AC Drivers from a maximum distance of 10 meters. The application must be logged in using authenticated credentials. On the screen then appears a state-of-the-art remote-control GUI. All parameters check and balances such as rpm run, frequency and current are showcased on the mobile screen in real time.  With touch, screen button interface the machine can be reset, forward, and reversed.

This module is designed for the ease of admin to manage the activities / operations going on within the application. There are two kinds of users – Golfer & Caddie. There are three types of golfers within the system – Standard, PGA Pro, Ambassador. There are four types of caddies within the system – JR Looper, Looper, Pro Looper, YOC Looper.

Concierge Panel

There is a concierge module within the application which is managed by the concierge users. Concierge is an individual who aids the golfers in order to book a golf course at a tee time. A golfer needs to be a member of a concierge course in order to get concierge assistance.

The concierge on behalf of golfer creates a booking for a golf course on the tee time and assign caddies according to the golfers’ preference.

Golfer Panel

Users can sign up as a golfer from this module. Admin needs to confirm the golfer’s account. Once the account has been activated, golfer can login to the account, book a golf course for tee time.

A single mobile application for both Caddies & Golfers. This app allows golfers to book caddies at participating courses and notifies qualified caddies who are available to pick up the round. The golfer and golf course are notified when rounds are picked up. After golfing, both the caddie and golfer rate each other.

At first, we focused on immediate stocking issues. Team Emorphis with its deep industry experience knew for a fact that diesel generators are capable of monitoring input and output power condition. We took advantage of the fact and developed a hardware to access the current state over RS232 protocol, and that can be controlled by a web interface developed by our expert team with features like – turning the system ‘on’ and ‘off’.

 

This system can communicate with GSM / GPRS network using modem. We designed complete back end web infrastructure to store the real time parameters using TCP / IP communication over GPRS link.  Our team applied real time parameters capturing technologies to build supervisory interface to control DG operations using SMS interface.

 

Emorphis also designed small embedded system which take input from DG over serial interface and control the operation using same interface.

In fact, when you want to follow specific writers, publications, and channels – to see every piece of content they publish – nothing beats an RSS reader. RSS access web feeds published by websites, letting you aggregate and curate content you care about. Feed Processing: Process the RSS Feed XML and get all articles from that feed.

Article Processing: Reads article from web, clean the content and stores it in a well formatted manner. Pulls out relevant images associated with the article and indexes for later use.

Keyword Processing: Index relevant keywords from the article and associate them with relevancy scores. This is used for finding relevant articles.

ReST based API for consumption of Tablet applications.

Auto scaling features developed to increase/decrease number of instances of cron jobs based on pending processing status. This is fully automatic, runs 24/7.

    Team Emorphis engaged in design, development, and execution of a data migration strategy. There are complex transformation rules, based on business scenario to accurately migrate the data to the new schema.

    With continuous migration of new data flowing into the source database, the new system and data run parallel to old system in read only mode to detect any glitches.

    This involved creation of a staging database,

    which then was initialized with the most recent backed up data, to carry out historical data migration.

    Emorphis engaged with the client to design, develop, and execute a data migration strategy. The strategy needed to take into account several things:

    • Complex transformation rules, based on the business scenarios, to correctly migrate the data into the new schema.
    • Simultaneous runs: The new system needed to be run in parallel with the old system in read only mode for some time, in order to detect any problems with the migrated data. This required continuous migration of new data flowing into the source database.
    • The downtime required for migration needed to be minimized.

    With these aspects and strategy in consideration, we executed a one time migration of historical data, and migrating data on a continuous basis during parallel runs.

    This involved creation of a staging database, initialized with most recent backed up data, to carry out historical data migration.

    Replication is set up between source database, and the staging database to allow flow of new data into delta tables in staging, during the parallel run. Stored procedures and SQL server jobs are used to validate, transform, and load data from the staging database into the target. Migration statistics is gathered in separate tables in the staging database that included counts of migrated rows, along with details of data validation failures, due to missing / inaccurate data in the source. Notification mechanism is set up to alert concerned person if the migration process encountered unexpected errors.

    benefits and upgrade of existing legacy information systems without major re-investment in new technologies, lowering costs and extending the life and efficiencies of current systems. HL7 translation engines are software which works as a go-between for different systems. They monitor different types of interfaces and communication points and perform actions according to rules defined by the organization.

    Data standards are meant to allow healthcare organizations to easily share clinical information. Theoretically, this ability to exchange information should help to minimize the tendency for medical care to be geographically isolated and highly variable.

    HL7 works with several standards (Conceptual Standards, Document Standards, Application Standards and Messaging Standards). Messaging standards defines how information is packaged and communicated from one system to another.

    outline a comprehensive digital strategy, defining the objectives and features which needed to be prioritized for the first iteration of the app.

    1. Tablet application for agents, built for iPad: This serves as the agents’ interface and provides different workflows that an agent usually carries out as a part of his interactions with prospects/customers. Some key tasks that he can carry out using this interface are:

    • Recording relevant prospect details, performing a search of various product options based on different criteria like the premium rate, deductible amount, types of plans, and carriers.

Using web services created by Schnucks, the app enables dynamically communicated content for offers, categories, and products.     Near real-time stock updates allowed viewing up-to-date product stock information while making their product selections. In addition, “wish lists” were built into the mobile app, so users could save desired products for later review and purchase. Access to key data such as – store locations, history of past purchases provides additional customer and application-wide search made the app fully functional and an immediate choice for customers on the move.

    Using the mobile app, Schnucks is now able to disseminate information on products and offers to their customers by actively updating the content in the app through a web-based content management system (“CMS”) and sending out push-notifications. Customers can track new product availability and be notified of specials through push notifications.

    The platform provides rich text ready to

    use templates and is backed by a Smart CMS at the backend to create content.

     

    Our Solution

    We at Emorphis applied content management expertise and implemented a solution that facilitated the editorial staff and authors to create dynamic content and publish stories with ease. Agile methodology was followed to implement this project which involved frequent releases, continuous integration, ongoing client participation, iterative deliveries and regular requirement reviews.

     

    To enhance security, we implemented permission-based system in the back-end to allow only required individual editorial staff or authors to access the content.

    The design and development team worked together closely on a sequence of prototypes which the client reviewed and evaluated for functional and conceptual usability.

     

    Back-end – The platform facilitated admin to create templates and authors / editorial staff used these templates to create stories using Text, media files and images in order to create rich interactive content. The system also facilitated for content archival and deletion for appropriate purpose.

     

    The admin was also provided with the option to publish content on website and / or mobile devices. The platform also provided an advanced search functionality. The platform also provided key metrics and analytics on content and users. The platform follows a workflow and approval management for editorial staff before the content is published.

     

    Frontend – We created a mobile application (smartphone / tablet) and a web interface for users which provided a unique way to interact with the published content accompanied with familiar and enjoyable reading experience on mobile. Mobile application is designed in such a way that readers are engaged in viewing more content as compared to the other applications that were built with click and scroll in mind.

     

    Integration of social sharing allow users to share content across various social networks. Many unique features made the application the best answer to all the requirements that were articulated by the client.

    We’re a marketing agency and I’m the director of web and application development.

    What challenge were you trying to address with Emorphis Technologies?

    We were having issues with capacity so we had to augment our current staff to get more done.

    What was the scope of their involvement?

    It was all development, strictly programming. It was mostly in PHP, but they also used JavaScript and AJAX components. They did a few specific projects for our largest client as well. They worked on their sales rep portal, and most of the projects were enhancing that portal and adding new features.

    What is the team composition?

    We had a project manager, a lead developer, and several other developers. We worked with two main people on a daily basis, but they would scale up when needed.

    How did you come to work with Emorphis Technologies?

    We tried to work with another offshore team, but it wasn’t a good experience. So, we took the opportunity to find a total of eight different offshore companies and did a project with each of them. I knew from speaking with Emorphis; Technologies’ CEO, that we would have a good relationship. Of those eight companies, Emorphis Technologies rose to the top. They were head and shoulder above the rest of them.

    We spent between $30,000–$40,000.

    What is the status of this engagement?

    We started in June 2019 and ended in January 2020.

    What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

    They were able to help us meet our goals, even when we had some very aggressive timelines. From the projects we worked on, weren’t necessarily adopted by users, but others were. Although some projects aren’t used, I don’t think that’s Emorphis Technologies’ fault, but rather those who determine the flow.

    Out of all the companies we worked with, Emorphis Technologies was by far the best experience we had. The people we worked with on a daily basis were knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They delivered good code, even under less-than-ideal circumstances. They really helped us deliver a successful project.

    How did Emorphis Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

    They were very good. They helped us meet our goals in a sound way. No relationship is perfect, and we certainly hit some bumps, but overall, they had the most talent of all the offshore teams we considered,

    What did you find most impressive about them?

    They understood our applications and how our framework worked. The other thing was project management. Unlike other offshore teams, they weren’t afraid to push back when they thought we could do something in a better way. That led to discussions and improvements for our overall processes. They made us more efficient.  

    Are there any areas they could improve?

    The project manager we had was very pragmatic. We had discussions about how to improve, but when we made a decision and needed to move forward, he sometimes wanted to continue the discussion. It’s not necessarily a negative, we want people like that, but sometimes we need to move on and execute.

    Do you have any advice for potential customers?

    Go ahead and nail down your entire process from start to finish. Determine how everything is going to work, who is responsible for making decisions, and how those decisions will be made.

    The other thing is general for offshore teams—make sure that the requirements are as verbose and clear as possible. Any ambiguity leads to mistakes and delays.

    We engaged Emorphis Technologies in 2019 to help speed up the addition of new products into our suite of 3 mobile printing apps that are connected to over 20,000 retail locations across the United States. Each of the 3 apps are available in both iOS as well as Android.

    What were your goals for this project?

    Our goal was to introduce these new products well in advance of our busy season in November and December of last year and to free up internal resources to work on other strategic projects.
