We receive sales orders from our various channel sales partners according to the geography of the channel sales partner and as per material & quality asked in the order; we need to assign that batch of orders to a particular type of manufacturer, we also need to assign a supplier to each set of orders.
During this whole process, the sales partner, manufacturer, supplier, and our company need to collaborate on many things and exchange information on a regular basis. With Salesforce it is now very easy to optimize the above-mentioned process with easy-to-use salesforce workflows. We are also managing our complete sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closing on salesforce now.

Emorphis wanted to help our cause as much as they could, and they even went beyond the scope with some items.
I’m really happy with Emorphis’ work. They performed to the level I expected them to. I have no complaints about them.

Technical advisors don’t usually get involved in the actual development, but theirs was very hands-on. I think that that’s how a tech advisor should be.
The communication was really good. We had to work on it, but that’s not unusual.
They met all their deadlines, even though there were some cases when we were holding them back.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’m pretty knowledgeable when it comes to Salesforce, and I think that they know what they’re doing. The key criterion was Emorphis’ ability to understand what the problem was and solve it, and that’s the number one reason why we gave them the contract.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Gathering requirements in advance is something they should improve on. They work based on their knowledge basis, but the client may have different expectations about how the system should work. Salesforce limits them in terms of what they can do, but they still need to have that conversation.

The key is to have a conversation around your business needs. If this is done, Emorphis will deliver the job.

We worked with Emorphis to flexibly expand our teams capabilities on mobile, backend and frontend software development work.
What were your goals for this project?
The goals would evolve. We have been in a challenging to hire environment being in Central Africa and while we worked to build out our own team, we used Emorphis to fill HR gaps or to work on discrete projects that it didn't make sense to hire an employee for.

How did you select this vendor?
We have worked with a variety of firms over the years. We originally found Emorphis on a recommendation but just were using there for a small project.
Describe the project in detail.
The project with Emorphis that I was most involved with was rewriting our app to take advantage of a different library, and getting our iOS app written in native and deployed.
What was the team composition?
While it would vary, our most typical composition was one mobile developer, one backend developer and one front end developer.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Emorphis because a permanent part of our development cycle. Our iOS app, Android app, backend and business management tools had Emorphis's DNA all over.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
It was honestly great. I've worked with remote teams before and had made the resolution to only outsource as a last resort or in an extremely narrow way, but Emorphis reset my expectations on what remote teams can provide.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their exceptional customer care (thank you Abhinav) was able to make us translate our specifications into requirements that were clear for both sides. Emorphis clearly understands startup realities and it seemed like they were always a step ahead of us with a realistic solution at the same time we were realizing we were having a problem.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I would have liked to have found better ways to make the devs we were working with over long stretches of time feel more a part of my company's community and culture, but maybe that was more on my side.

Emorphis helped us as our Salesforce solution partner, we partnered with Emorphis Technologies who already were working with us on other technologies to implement a Salesforce solution for a Housing Industry consultancy firm.

Improve the automation so that human errors can be reduced. Present a community to the end audience so that they can discuss among others and get answers to general questions. How did you select this vendor?
The fact that Emorphis was already assisting us on other technologies made things easier for us. However we still had multiple rounds of discussions with Emorphis’ Salesforce team and Emorphis did a small PoC on Salesforce. And once we were fully convinced of Emorphis’ Salesforce capabilities, we decided to move ahead with them.

The project was for a Housing consultancy firm, they needed a centralized system that they can rely on for sales, marketing and customer service. Before Emorphis implemented this Salesforce solution the consultancy had to maintain a large amount of data on excel sheets which was quite error prone, also in absence of a centralized system the consultancy was not able to measure the results of marketing campaigns and missing leads were also a problem.
What was the team composition?
One full time Salesforce Architect, one half time Salesforce Administrator, three full time Salesforce Developers and one QA.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The Salesforce solution that they have implemented has already started benefiting the business, the solution has enabled a 360-degree customer overview with significant reduction in customer inquiry solving timeline. The Salesforce solution is also helping in increasing the sales pipeline and enhanced customer loyalty as the Salesforce community cloud implemented by them is helping customers in getting better services in a timely manner.
The system automatically assigns leads to the respective sales person (depending on the location of lead) and also send automatic alerts if the sales person has not done the required task within the time limit and this has resulted in quicker & higher sales closures.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Their point of contact communicates effectively all details about what we are going to get in next delivery, known issues if any. Their team anticipate hurdles in advance so we could plan accordingly with our customers. Mostly we communicate weekly basis to discuss over the ongoing and upcoming Sprints and never felt unaware of the progress or project insights.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Emorphis always comes back to us with a better approach to achieve a particular objective. So they are more of a solution provider for us. Emorphis helped in choosing the right Salesforce subscription. Currently Emorphis is also managing the Salesforce platform.
Are there any areas for improvement?
We are mostly happy with their services and planning more projects to do with them. However it will be great if they can provide more intermediate deliveries with smaller size milestones.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
We’re a marketing agency and I’m the director of web and application development.

What challenge were you trying to address with Emorphis Technologies?
We were having issues with capacity so we had to augment our current staff to get more done.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
It was all development, strictly programming. It was mostly in PHP, but they also used JavaScript and AJAX components. They did a few specific projects for our largest client as well. They worked on their sales rep portal, and most of the projects were enhancing that portal and adding new features.
What is the team composition?
We had a project manager, a lead developer, and several other developers. We worked with two main people on a daily basis, but they would scale up when needed.
How did you come to work with Emorphis Technologies?
We tried to work with another offshore team, but it wasn’t a good experience. So, we took the opportunity to find a total of eight different offshore companies and did a project with each of them. I knew from speaking with Emorphis; Technologies’ CEO, that we would have a good relationship. Of those eight companies, Emorphis Technologies rose to the top. They were head and shoulder above the rest of them.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent between $30,000–$40,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started in June 2019 and ended in January 2020.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They were able to help us meet our goals, even when we had some very aggressive timelines. From the projects we worked on, weren’t necessarily adopted by users, but others were. Although some projects aren’t used, I don’t think that’s Emorphis Technologies’ fault, but rather those who determine the flow.
Out of all the companies we worked with, Emorphis Technologies was by far the best experience we had. The people we worked with on a daily basis were knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They delivered good code, even under less-than-ideal circumstances. They really helped us deliver a successful project.
How did Emorphis Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?
They were very good. They helped us meet our goals in a sound way. No relationship is perfect, and we certainly hit some bumps, but overall, they had the most talent of all the offshore teams we considered,
What did you find most impressive about them?
They understood our applications and how our framework worked. The other thing was project management. Unlike other offshore teams, they weren’t afraid to push back when they thought we could do something in a better way. That led to discussions and improvements for our overall processes. They made us more efficient.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The project manager we had was very pragmatic. We had discussions about how to improve, but when we made a decision and needed to move forward, he sometimes wanted to continue the discussion. It’s not necessarily a negative, we want people like that, but sometimes we need to move on and execute.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Go ahead and nail down your entire process from start to finish. Determine how everything is going to work, who is responsible for making decisions, and how those decisions will be made.
The other thing is general for offshore teams—make sure that the requirements are as verbose and clear as possible. Any ambiguity leads to mistakes and delays.
