I’m the director of data for a horse racing company, and I’m in charge of managing all of our data analytics.

What challenge were you trying to address with eMojo Digital Marketing?

We hired eMojo Digital Marketing primarily to provide SEO services, specifically around the technical aspects of our CRM.

What was the scope of their involvement?

eMojo Digital Marketing is managing our SEO strategies. They teach us a lot about SEO implementation, and they have their own proprietary tool which allows them to audit our site to know what issues affect our search reputation.

We also partner with them in enhancing our content strategy in order to ensure that we build, organize, and publish content that’s going to perform well on search engines. We already have a pretty good digital presence, but the team’s role is to make sure that we’re doing our best to acquire new audiences and grow our engagement, especially during big or competitive events. 

On top of that, they handle our paid advertising strategies, which include content tagging and tracking paid media landing pages as well as handling the strategy architecture side of things. Furthermore, they manage the implementation of our campaigns, and they work with our internal marketing team to run the campaigns.

What is the team composition?

I work directly with Omer (Founder), but I’ve also worked with a few project managers within their organization. I collaborate with their technical analyst occasionally, too.

How did you come to work with eMojo Digital Marketing?

eMojo Digital Marketing pitched to our company. When they reached out to us, they identified numerous technical issues that we had, and they showed those issues through a presentation. After that, our organization became interested in working with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing partnership started in December 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

eMojo Digital Marketing has been an integral part of improving our SEO efforts. They’ve done a lot of foundational work to make sure that we have a better presence on search engines. As a result, we’ve been able to rank on top of popular search queries during big events and that’s been the main value driver in our business. 

As an example, we’ve seen massive success in the landing pages they’ve created for key events in the horse racing industry. Since we see tangible results on Google which is directly translated into our increased traffic, we’ve been able to increase our investment.

How did eMojo Digital Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

We consider eMojo Digital Marketing as a key partner in delivering our monthly and event reports. More importantly, we’ve never had a concern about anything related to our project's budget. We communicate with them through different channels, and they’re always available.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We appreciate their hands-on approach. In addition, we’re impressed that they understand our business and figure out ways on how to bring value to us, which allows us to move forward. Overall, they feel like a partner rather than a service provider.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They can be more opinionated in our engagement. We need to hear their opinion on where we need to go and what we need to do in order to achieve our goals. However, I know that it can be challenging knowing we have a multifunction relationship. Overall, their room for improvement is certainly not because they lack the understanding or strategy to do things.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Let eMojo Digital Marketing understand what you need first. Let them take the wheel, and let them drive the project. On top of that, you need to establish a cadence for reporting. Give them the leeway to take responsibility and ownership for the tactics they’re implementing, but make sure you’re comfortable with everything, too.

We needed a new website developed.

What was the scope of their involvement?

eMojo Digital Marketing built our WordPress website from scratch. They handled everything: integration, Google Analytics, etc. and collaborated with our designer for design and animation. Their team built layered forms for users to contact us and subscribe to our newsletter.

They are currently providing SEO services and doing lead generation campaigns using Google AdWords.

What is the team composition?

I worked with Omer (Digital Growth Expert) regarding business issues. Daniel (Project Manager) managed the project on a daily basis, and SEO is being led by Adam (SEO Specialist) and Noah (COO).

How did you come to work with eMojo Digital Marketing?

I had worked with eMojo Digital Marketing at a previous job and enjoyed the experience. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from August–December 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We were pleased with the quality of their work. Feedback has been positive, our customers find the website clear and easy to navigate. They did a good job, and we are extremely happy with the results.

How did eMojo Digital Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

eMojo Digital Marketing did an incredible job. Daniel was amazing. We use an internal tracking tool, but they shared Google Spreadsheets with us, as well. We communicated almost daily via email and calls. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their development skills are excellent, especially the technical aspect. They answered every question we had, and it was a pleasure working with them. I was quite impressed with Daniel’s project management also.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Not really. They are less on the creative aspects, but we didn’t expect them to be a creative agency, so it’s ok.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be thorough about your expectation of deliverables, and the process, such as responsibilities, timelines, etc.
