We hired The Email Marketers initially in the summer of 2020 to set up our initial email flows for our brand. The goal was to roll out our branding and experience into automated flows to improve the customer journey, increase the number of touch points, improve LTV, reorders, etc.

I had initially set up some basic flows myself but failed to match our high level brand & design experience that our brand had elsewhere. I was introduced to Melanie and her team and realized that they could execute on the brand, flows, and do it at a reasonable price.

We worked with Melanie (CEO), and an account manager mostly. I believe they also had a design, technical professional, and possibly a copy writer as well, but I didn't often work directly with them.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The results were fantastic, both from a branding / design / copy / experience perspective, and also from a revenue perspective. Great ROI from the initial flows. We have since hired them to enhance our flows, update the flows with new images & packaging designs, and also manage our monthly email campaigns & SMS. They've really executed on our brand and design and have helped us take it to another level. Ultimately anyone can set up campaigns or flows in Klaviyo, but they're able to put together advanced flows with great design, copy, and tie it into our high-level marketing initiatives.

With anything technical there can sometimes be some bugs in Klaviyo, but they are very quick and proactive to fix issues. I really have no complaints.

The Email Marketers works on our email marketing campaigns from ideation all the way through to implementation. In terms of the content, they handle copywriting and design.
Each month, the team creates a marketing calendar to ensure we are providing engaging content to our list. The copywriting team then writes the emails while the design team creates relevant visuals. They segment every send to optimize performance and conduct A/B testing for continuous learning.
After we approve both the written and visual content, they start implementing the email campaign.

We’ve actually just sent out an email that very quickly generated the highest revenue we’ve ever seen.
Prior to working with The Email Marketers, our email campaigns performed inconsistently. Working with this team has generated consistent increase in revenue and performance against key metrics.

The Email Marketers is very organized and buttoned up. We have a planning calendar using Google Sheets, and it’s easy to understand.

We needed to bring an agile email marketing team on board to improve our e-commerce sales.

We used their services of The Email Marketers to help educate customers about the benefits of our products. They handled everything, from the copy and design to the implementation and flow of the segments of each email.
We first gave them as much information on the different principles of regenerative farming as possible, because this topic can be quite esoteric. They designed the email template, which they’ve been so kind to let us use for our website — they sent us the AI files along with the messaging, copy, and layout so our customers could learn more about our company.

Even though retail grocery shopping has opened again, our e-commerce business has doubled and grown to 200% in the past year. I believe it’s the result of bringing professionals to prioritize our email marketing efforts and revamping how we present ourselves to our customers.
How did The Email Marketers perform from a project management standpoint?
They worked with us through Google Docs, which was perfect because that’s what we use internally. They would send us a document with all the copy they wrote and once we’ve approved it, they would send it to the designer who would do the layout.
The layout would then be sent to our email, so we can see the full picture of the experience of the consumer. After that, we would go through 2–3 rounds of wording revisions before going live.

We were very impressed with their professionalism, quality of work, and how quick they were in producing content. We really felt like they really cared about our brand.

I can’t think of anything they could improve on, but I wish we were still working together on an ongoing basis.
