Im the IT specialist in the company and responsible for our e-commerce platform based on Prestashop with more then 20.000 active products available for order. We sell both online and through our retail store mostly on Serban market.
For what projects/services did your company hire eMagicOne, and what were your goals?
We have been using eMagicOne products for more then 7 years now in order to manage our website and more then 20.000 products listed. We use Store Manager for Prestashop mostly in order to sync, organise, add, edit our products on a dealy basis. It's a great time saver and it would be near impossible for us to imagine working without these tools.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We have found out about eMagicOne through offical Prestashop forums and from them we went to them directly. We have been amased how organised they were once we went through their website and after excening few emails back and for we knew we have found a partner for a long therm cooperation.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We have been using this specific tool, Store Manager for Prestashop for ages. We have found that it contains all the tools needed in order to manage a modern e-commerce store, all kinds of import/export features, mass product change tools, easy images, discriptions, URLs, meta tags and other important SEO tools. It was all-in-one product really. There were no particular steps, we just got the software and started to use it, and after really short period of adjustment it became important part of our every-day routine.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
There were several people from the company that we have been in touch. There were people from tech support as well as project managers, programmers and others. We found out that it seems that more people colaborate when we were discussing certain topics over the forum, ticketing system etc...
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Once we started using StoreManager we found our that most of our time consuming repetitive tasks took less time to be done (and probably they were done better). That saved us time to focus on developing other aspects of our website and incresse sales.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Our communication was mostly done by their very good ticketing system. They replay in a 24h time frame but usually just after few hours and what we like about eMagicOne team they answer very precise and are full of information and details. Of course for some simpler questions there is a live chat option and we used that as well. Overall, it was a really good experience.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
We think they are company that plans and plans a lot. They dont rush to certain products. Also its great to know in what direction tool such as Store Manager that we use goes. There is always a plan for future developmant and they even let us, the users, to discuss new features, GUI changes in the application and all other topics. Some of them actually get developed in the next releases... We think that is great.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
As we said earlier, we know eMagicOne for more then 7 years now. We think we are with them almost from the moment we lounched our website in 2013. I really cant suggest any improvements except maybe offering service for integrating their products with localy used EMS software . For example we in Serbia has few but there are 5-6 software which are most comonly used. We know offering such a service is not easy but maybe that might be the idea to explore.

I am the founder of a clothing and accessories online business from Australia, our main market is the USA but our reach is worldwide. As an expanding business one of the key elements for our growth has been the key relationships that we have formed in our industry.
For what projects/services did your company hire eMagicOne?
Our business model consists of partnering with 25 companies that handle hundreds of suppliers across the globe, they supply us with 75,000 products. We needed to connect with a company that not only had advanced software but had the technicians who could configure our supplier’s files and set the store to seamlessly work with all our supplier's CSV files. This is when we encountered eMagicOne who’s software “Store Manager” allowed us to drastically cut time from manually importing products to a fully automated system. We are not overly tech-savvy, but their highly skilled technicians have eliminated many issues that have arisen along the way.
What were your goals for this project?
To find an advanced software program that could seamlessly integrate our supplier's CSV files. We wanted to be able to spend more time growing the business and the store manager software has allowed us to do that. Store manager can handle any number of products to import and is also able to set scheduled import times automatically.
How did you select this vendor?
We searched far and wide online for software that could handle our complex files. After approaching 4-5 companies and comparing the ‘pros and cons’ we felt in the end that the features of eMagicOne’s store manager software superseded their competitors.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
We have had many discussions with eMagicOne to outline our key objectives for all projects from Live Chats to Team Viewer desktop sessions. Their technicians had needed to fully configure each supplier's files to seamlessly work on our website, this can be challenging as no suppliers files are the same.
What was the team composition?
We have worked with 2 technicians and several support managers who all share the same goal to get the job done. The key to this successful project has been to work closely with the same team over a period of time who understand the requirements and the ability to implement strategies to overcome suppliers differentiating CSV files.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
When a supplier's file is configured and imported onto the website showcasing thousands of products, this is the point of success, it takes many weeks for one supplier's file to reach this point. It is a proud moment when completion has been reached. The end result is that inventory will be more accurate and automatic product uploads will dramatically improve productivity
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
The communication between the support managers and technicians via live chat and team viewer kept me informed every step of the way.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their technician’s knowledge and the ability to solve any issue whether it be a CSV, Excel or XML file gave us confidence that the vast projects could succeed on an ongoing basis.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I guess time is one that comes to mind, we all want everything done yesterday but when technicians are working on complex files like the ones we provided, quality will always be king over-delivering rushed work due to unrealistic deadlines.
The client saved time with their repetitive tasks and was able to focus on their core business, thanks to eMagicOne. The team used a ticketing system for project tracking during the engagement. The client was overall impressed by the team's expertise and great services.
