Please describe your company and your position there.

Meticulon was Canada's first IT consulting company to focus exclusively on leveraging the unique abilities of people with autism to offer the highest quality IT consulting services in Quality Assurance, Software Development, Data Science, and other IT consulting services. I am the CEO and co-founder of the company.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire ELEVATE Graphic Design?

We needed the full gamut of design services from brand design, website design, marketing materials, and so forth - Corey created our whole package.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed to launch a new company and clearly differentiate ourselves from other IT consulting services. Communicating what we call "The Autism Advantage for Business" was a totally new, unproven, unknown concept in Canada and we needed very concise, clear branding and materials to launch.

How did you select ELEVATE Graphic Design?

I have worked with Corey, the owner, on many other projects and in other businesses I have so we knew he was going to deliver.

Corey worked through many logo and brand options with us, provided us website mock-ups, and a broad range of marketing options. As we grew and added more and more services to our business offering, Corey helped us refine our marketing as required. He also provided invaluable assistance with our social media marketing plans.

What was the team composition?

We dealt pretty much solely with Corey.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We built an extremely successful business leveraging Corey's work and Meticulon is recognized globally now as a result as one of the world's leading diversity employers.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Corey is extremely responsive, provides excellent, clear feedback and can be relied on to deliver on time and on budget.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

It is very rare to find someone who is not only extremely creative but also really understands and can interpret business requirements so well. Elevate offers a unique ability to be very innovative while remaining rooted in the business goals and requirements.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I can't think of anything we would have liked to have done differently or better.

We hire ELEVATE for all our Branding needs.

What were your goals for this project?

We required a branding package that acknowledge the clients:

• Audiences
• Focus
• Concept
• Future Goals

This requires a few weeks of preparation, all of which were taken care of by ELEVATE in an orderly and timeline fashion. Not having to concern ourselves with this side of projects is a great boon to us.

How did you select ELEVATE Graphic Design?

We have known Corey for years now and without question, he is our go to designer and branding specialist.

Describe the project in detail.

The client in question was building a software suite targeted towards a specific audience. A brand was required to match the aesthetic value of that audience without alienating future features of the suite. With few details to work on, Corey was able to draw conclusions that matched the audience, provide drafts/ colour palettes/ fonts that gave a complete concept to the brand. The client was then able to draw inspiration from the branding package to complete their overall marketing strategy, helping to guide our own efforts.

What was the team composition?

My self and Corey work directly together, without any others involved. This direct access is crucial for communication.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The end result was a complete brand package that provided the client with a direction for all marketing materials moving forward.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They were consistent and precise. Communication is key for both of us.

The direct communication. It's the gold standard of ELEVATE!

I am the co-owner of Eye Craft Optometry. We are a full service optometry clinic operating in North Vancouver.

For what projects/services did your company hire ELEVATE Graphic Design?

We hired Elevate Design to come up with the logo and branding for Eye Craft Optometry. We wanted the branding to be different than the traditional health care style branding and this was the reason we choose Elevate Design. We also retain Elevate Designs services to act as our on-call, in-house design department.

What were your goals for this project?

Create a unique logo and branding for Eye Craft that would give our small business and identity in-line with our beliefs and values. Create branding that would start telling our story upon first interaction with a potential patient.

How did you select this vendor?

We looked at a number of firms work and selected Elevate Design based on recommendation and their previous work. After a meeting with Corey the Owner of Elevate, we were convinced Elevate was the partner we wanted to work with and as a result we contracted them to provide services.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

Develop the logo and branding for the business: - Develop the logo based on input from us regarding feeling and emotion we wished to convey - Develop brand guidelines, which encompassed fonts, pantones, logo placement guidelines - Designed business cards based on logo and brand guidelines - Designed exterior signage including window coverings

We were lucky enough to work directly with Corey the owner of Elevate!

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project was definitely a success. I can attest to this in two ways: - People constantly stop and take a look at the exterior of our business, they then write down our contact details and we invariably hear from them within a few days when they make an appointment - We have had several new customers state that the reason they came in was because of the look of the exterior signage and feel of the place. To me having good design translate into dollars in the till is the ultimate demonstration of a positive project!

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Highly effective! Corey was always available and very responsive. Corey also worked seamlessly with a number of our other contractors saving us time and money. Work was completed on time and on budget and was of a very high quality. Couldn't ask for more.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They had a good breadth of previous work but they were able to craft a solution that felt unique and right for us. The work definitely felt as if it considered our unique needs and input and was not just reused from another job or influenced by the firms sense of style. I also felt that Corey was down to earth and understood what we were looking for, he was also then able to bring us into his world and help elevate our initial ideas into a great final product.

Are there any areas for improvement?

None at all, I just hope we are able to keep working with Elevate as they get more and more clients and busier and busier.

We worked together on desinging an identity and t-shirts for Diggerknowfear.com a mountain bike apparrel company.

What were your goals for this project?

How did you select this vendor?

Recommendations from friends in the industry.

Describe the project in detail.

We designed t-shirts together that reflected Diggerknowfear.com's current identity, as well as new designs to push the brand in to more modern territory. Branding and messaging was also created, particularly on the main Digger Know Fear website, and on instagram. Our goal was to grow the brand, but do it in a personalized and approachable way.

What was the team composition?

ELEVATE and I collaborated on graphic design and art direction, and Todd Fiander/Digger Know Fear had final approval of the designs.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Dramatic increase in sales for all merchandise on the Digger Know Fear website, identification of superior local print providers and online fulfillment services, and more connection to the mountain bike community.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very. Regular meetings were held (in person, by phone and online), and deadlines were met consitently.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

ELEVATE's connections in many industries (not just graphic design and branding), and their sincerity in wanting to help clients achieve their goals was impressive.

None that Design + Conquer experienced. Was a great working with ELEVATE and their team.
