I work as ecommerce director. We are an online store with corrective glasses and sunglasses from the world's leading brands. We sell and promote eyewear fashion for women, men and children.

Our offer includes fashionable eyeglass frames and high-quality eyeglass lenses. Each client can choose the perfect model for themselves, regardless of their taste or lifestyle. Thanks to our cooperation with the largest distributors of glasses in Poland, we are an authorized seller of models of many established brands.

We always follow the latest trends emerging in the optical industry, but never shy away from the classics: universally acclaimed, timeless models are an equally vital component of our offer.

For what projects/services did your company hire Elephate?

We sought credible, high-quality external links that would lead to our website and in turn increase the visibility of our domain and recognition of our brand. We also needed support in optimizing the content on our website for search engines, which was to facilitate a boost in organic traffic on our online store.

We hired Elephate to prepare keyword research and analyze the competition to ultimately create a content marketing strategy for our brand. An important element of the cooperation was the implementation of creative digital PR campaigns, which would perform both link and image building functions.

What were your goals for this project?

One of our main goals was to increase the visibility of our store on Google for important phrases related to our offer. Increasing the number of referring domains in a natural way and boosting the organic traffic on our website were also significant to us.

Moreover, the content marketing activities undertaken by Elephate would all have to meet our image goals. Through carefully crafted content, we wanted to build and reinforce the image of wOkularach.pl as an expert in the optical industry, increasing both the awareness of our brand and the trust in it as a result.

At the beginning, the team conducted an audit of the content on our website (encompassing both the offer subpages, with particular emphasis on category descriptions, and the blog content), competitor analysis and keyword research.

The conclusions drawn from these activities were used to develop a comprehensive content marketing strategy for our brand. Further work included, among others, optimization of texts published on the blog, preparation of guidelines for category descriptions, as well as inspection and optimization of the created content.

The agency also obtained valuable external links thanks to creative digital PR campaigns. The team developed them as a whole for us: from concept and implementation all the way to content distribution.

The realization of our link building goals was further cemented with guest posting. In addition, we could always count on ongoing consultations, consistent monitoring of the effects and regular reporting.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The increase in the number of relevant keywords at the forefront of Google Search was made very clear by the reports Elephate provided throughout the cooperation period.

Our website appeared in TOP 3 for phrases such as "fashionable prescription glasses" , "types of glasses" and "men's prescription glasses". The agency was also able to achieve satisfactory results in terms of organic traffic on the entire site.

From February 2020 to November 2020, the number of organic page views increased much. When it comes to creative campaigns we conducted three creative campaigns with Elephate.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The exchange of information was very smooth. We could contact the person in charge of the project at any time. The activities carried out by the agency were always punctual, and we learned about their effects from detailed reports.

Furthermore, every six months we received comprehensive analyses of the position and condition of our website. Elephate then conducted website audits and examined key industry competitors. We required a complex content marketing strategy to guide the CM activities of our company. The generation of organic traffic through planning and content creation for our blog was to play an important role. We also wanted Elephate to regularly prepare digital PR campaigns to help with link building. As of today, three such campaigns were conducted at six-month intervals and a dozen or so additional publications on selected keywords.

Thanks to content marketing activities, we observed an increase in the visibility of the number of keywords in TOP 3 (increase by 141%), TOP 10 (increase by 204%) and TOP 50 (increase by 2,255) in Google search results from month to month. Our website began to appear in the TOP 3 results for phrases such as "changes in leasing", "leaseback", "leasing loan", "leasing or cash" and "early lease payment".

There was also a site-wide rise in organic traffic; in annual terms, the number of visitors increased by 73% for computers, and by 172% for mobile devices. Furthermore, since the start of our cooperation with Elephate, we saw an increase by 3319% in the number of monthly organic sessions on our blog. As for the digital PR campaigns, the average number of publications secured for a single campaign was 60, and the average number of dofollow links included in these publications was 31.

The cooperation was very effective at all stages. The communication process was smooth and efficient. We were always kept up to date with the progress. The fact that both companies are based in the same city was an obvious advantage; at the start of our cooperation, we could discuss everything face-to-face.
