The first part of the project considered a review of the current position and conditions of the Company in the market and marketing and sales strategies in progress. In the second part, we get the diagnosis and action plan for the period, including tools and a mix of resources to use in the plan implementation.

The vendor´s team assigned to our project had four members. The Sales Manager, one Account Manager, a digital marketing expert, and an administrative assistant.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The different campaigns that were promoted had an average opening rate of 60% - 70%. One aspect to highlight was the speed and flexibility on the part of GSS to make adjustments through the journey.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Weekly meetings were established at the beginning and subsequently with a fortnightly frequency. We always found their availability and promptness in the issues.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Transparency in approaching the different challenges that will be faced throughout the project and highly oriented towards customer service.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Evaluate the possibility of incorporating a member into the team who can develop leads in a non-automated way, when the opening rates, even though they are high, are not converted into leads.

They sent us monthly reports on how many leads our campaign was making, including the number of sales opportunities obtained.

How did Global Sales Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

In terms of project management, they performed well. They communicated very fast and efficiently via Slack, got in touch with us every 15 days, and held weekly virtual meetings to discuss campaign performance and the current status of the project. Overall, they updated us during the entire process.

Whenever we didn’t understand something, they gladly responded to our questions.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were scientists. They had a very strong formula for conducting customer outreach, especially cold emailing. They were experts on how algorithms and emailing work.

Are there any areas they could improve?

When working with startups or small companies like us, their expectations need to be more realistic.

Any advice for potential customers?

Make sure to know your target and ideal customer profile before you work with Global Sales Solutions. Once you know that, you can make magic with them.

Kreitech is an IoT service provider, providing services from software development to hardware development. We offer engineering services mostly for startups in the US.

We are following a well defined strategy for increasing and developing our IoT sales, since a few years before we focused on selling software for startups. We hired GSS to develop our outbound sales campaign, joining efforts in getting more clients in the IoT side.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched for digital strategy sales to start our outbound process. We liked GSS proposal the most, after we tried different strategies, that we believe don't work (cold emailing without consulting, ads strategy, etc). They offered a consulting approach on sales funnel development, which helps us in better define our strategies.

They first reviewed all our portfolio, services and previous works. We walked them through our IoT strategy to increase Kreitech's ability to sell a new kind of service. From that point, GSS worked on getting an email campaign up and running in less than a month, which is now running non stop.

We worked with a sales manager, account manager, a technical director, and follow up with the CEO and the account manager every 2 weeks.

We have developed a streamlined email campaign with GSS, which enables us to test and validate our commercial efforts. We have meetings with potential leads every week, outcome of the email campaigns. We still haven't managed to make any new sales, but we're using all this feedback to find our product market fit for IoT Sales.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had onboarding meetings so GSS can understand what we do and what we want to develop. After this, we have follow up calls every 2 weeks, and if we see any deviation in the campaigns, we get on quick calls to discuss these matters.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The team has a good understanding of what we want to achieve, and they suggest alternatives to try and pivot to find our product market fit. Their consulting approach and deep conversations about our concerns show GSS' commitment to our success..

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

It's difficult to determine areas of improvement, since we're also experiencing improvement opportunities in our IoT sales and product market fit. GSS joined our efforts on creating this funnel, it'd be great to see already some sales from all this work, but we're still working on it.
