What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Eggs Media had a good team, and I was impressed by them. Eggs Media's work met our expectations, and we received positive feedback from our students. We're considering engaging with Eggs Media again to manage our site. We were happy with the team's approach and liked that they separated the customer service and the technical teams, which was helpful. 

How did Eggs Media perform from a project management standpoint?

The project took longer than expected, but most of the fault lay in us since we underestimated the requirements of a development project. Eggs Media stayed on budget and worked very hard. We communicated via email and regular Zoom meetings where the team shared progress.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

Michael was great at understanding and communicating our business concept to his team. He truly understood our project's technical requirements. I also want to highlight Baldo's work because we requested many design changes, and he accommodated our requests. All I had to do was ask Baldo for edits, and he was thorough and stepped in as needed. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed that no task was too much for Eggs Media. The team was willing to do anything for us for the sake of quality. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

We're used to using WhatsApp for work and missed the extensive use of WhatsApp while working with Eggs Media. WhatsApp it's instant communication, and Zoom was great, but we were accustomed to using WhatsApp actively. 

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I recommend communicating constantly with Eggs Media. You can make the most out of your engagement when you talk to the team. If you share your expectations, Eggs Media will cooperate, which worked for us.

Thanks to the website Eggs Media created, potential clients are reaching out to us. Also, our team likes the site.

How did Eggs Media perform from a project management standpoint?

They stayed on budget and had no issue with them. Regarding communication tools, we used email and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I felt like they were a trustworthy team; they didn’t hold anything back, provided options for us, and gave me fair pricing.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on — we didn’t have any issues with them. They assisted us, walking us through every step of the process and explaining everything so we could understand what they did for us, and I’m very grateful for that.

Be aware that you have to provide input on the project; don’t expect them to do everything for you. Be prepared, present, and proactive so they can perform according to your needs through back-and-forth communication.

Apart from the website development, they’ve also helped us with the marketing side giving us the proper tools and insight. Thanks to that, we now understand how this works, and we can see our business appearing on the first pages.

Their team is very prompt and responsive — they take care of everything we want to change on the website in no more than 24 hours. They even delivered the website before the expected deadline. 

Overall, we’ve developed a friendship that goes beyond a business relationship.

We've worked with Eggs Media on several projects; we recently completed two projects with them. For each project, Eggs Media provides feedback to ensure our designs properly correlate to the development — sometimes, designers don't keep the development processes in mind. I also provide Eggs Media's team with project documentation, requirements, copywriting, and images. Once Eggs Media has all of the project information, they send me the first draft for feedback, and we continue from there. Eggs Media uses WordPress as a base for the development and then custom-codes sites to fit our needs.

I don't have any specific metrics, but Eggs Media is invaluable to my company. I know that when I work with them, the process will go smoothly because their team is very flexible. Baldo has made it easy for me to upsell these websites to clients so I can provide a full-service marketing strategy — I have no more limitations to the services I can provide. 

How did Eggs Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Eggs Media delivers on time, and our communication frequency has escalated to weekly updates. Overall, their communication is excellent; I can call them at any time of the day or night. Their team takes feedback well. I've put together a bug tracker, which Eggs Media has access to. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Eggs Media's extensive technical development knowledge and customer service are amazing. Their team will bend over backward to fulfill my requests.

I have nothing for Eggs Media to improve.

I would advise customers to have clear communication about every aspect of the project with ​​Eggs Media. It's also important to be patient with their team — a properly executed development project takes longer than just two weeks.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the owner of a small mental health corporation, founded in 2018. My primary work is in private practice as a registered psychotherapist. Over the last year and a half, I have begun to design and develop an online mental health platform which aims to better connect individuals seeking mental health support with the right mental health professionals.

Eggs Media was hired on as the primary and sole web developers, after another company had laid some poor groundwork on the site (poor design, limited functionality, clunky interface, etc.). They were hired to remedy all of these known problems, and the unknown ones that continued to pop up.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I had searched online for web developers, and went through numerous profiles. Eggs existing portfolio, combined with their excellent communication and enthusiasm towards the project, allowed me to feel comfortable with both their ability and attitude.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The scope of work has continued to grow and evolve as Eggs continued to deliver solutions to key issues. The initial deliverable was the aesthetic overhaul of the existing site. Once completed, additional problems were solved; improving user functionality, and increasing admin abilities, to name a few. They will also be responsible for implementing a subscription service for users in the upcoming months.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Eggs Creative Lead - Baldo - was the main point of contact for all communications. His team of developers and designers worked behind the scenes, providing appropriate and efficient solutions, and a lot of patience throughout.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Both mental health professionals and individuals seeking support are loving the design and functionality of the site. Within the first week of our soft-launch, we have garnered numerous sign-ups with the site, and plenty of feedback regarding the necessity of a site like this; all comments indicate how pleased the users are that someone was able to create this type of platform.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

All of our communications with Eggs Media have been extremely timely. Most communications have taken place via email, and we have always felt extremely well supported and confident in Eggs response time to all communications - big and small, morning, afternoon, or night.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Everything has been impressive with Eggs Media. The initial design mockup they provided for the site (after doing extensive research regarding our design aesthetic) was perfect, first time around. It seemed impossible, but somehow happened.

The timeliness of their communications has never caused anxiety in terms of getting issues fixed quickly. The suggestions provided during the problem-solving stage when challenges arose were always appropriate and the rationale well-explained. And the pleasant and friendly attitude of everyone at Eggs has really made our work together invaluable.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No. All issues that presented themselves were dealt with in a timely manner - Can't ask for much more than that! :)

We needed to completely overhaul our website, so we hired Eggs Media to help develop something that’s more usable for students.

Eggs Media developed our website using WordPress from the ground up and provided us with in-depth web design. They also created a set of brand guidelines to implement on our new platform and our social media channels.

On top of that, they integrated a layer of CSS coding to make the layout of the site more visually appealing.

They were great in terms of communicating with me and answering all of my emails. There was this one time when the website went down because there were too many users on it, so they responded quickly and helped us fix the bandwidth.

Their work helped solidify our goals in terms of making the website more user-friendly, so it was a really good experience overall.

They’re perfect from a project management standpoint. Somehow, they were able to catch everything I sent out to them and guide us through the process in a way that was easily understandable.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were really impressed with their responsiveness and the quality of their work. The look and feel of the new website are vastly different from the old one, and I really like how clean and professional it looks.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We’re interested in communicating with them on how we can further improve the website’s user-friendliness and navigation. It would be great if we can have a conversation about developing something that’s more in-tune with what the students need.

The website is running well. They’re going to help us with maintenance and updates as well. We’re satisfied with the website. If we ask them for changes, we get positive feedback. 

We had a hard time designing a logo because that’s very important and everyone had their different preferences. We had a lot of communication back and forth with Eggs Media in terms of the logo but in the end we’re all very satisfied. I really like their communication.

How did Eggs Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Things became more difficult with COVID-19 and we couldn’t meet each other face-to-face. We communicate mostly by email. Anytime I had a question, they responded quickly. They’re really easy to communicate with. 

At the end of this project, we had some questions from our IT department that I had no idea about and I just forwarded it to Eggs Media and they communicated directly to our IT department. I really appreciated that.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Eggs Media is professional. They achieved what we wanted. When we give feedback, they further improve the website and I really like that.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would be better if we could meet face-to-face but I know it’s not possible due to COVID-19. We’re really satisfied with their work.

I’m the founder & CEO of BlumSafe, a designer and online retail website of wall safes for watch collectors.

What challenge were you trying to address with Eggs Media?

We had designed a website through a friend of a friend. It was an attractive website, but it wasn’t built for scalability and it broke a lot. It was also lacking modern digital marketing features. 

We first went to them to maintain our faulty website, but as we gained confidence in them, we had them take the lead on building version two of our website. Our goal was to have the website function first-rate while maintaining our culture and our voice.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Eggs Media rebuilt our website in WordPress. They also did some digital marketing and integration with Google Ads tools, and they worked on our email capabilities and referral functionality. The team incorporated video onto the website as well and did some graphic work.

I had another website and the people I was working with on that recommended Baldo (Creative Lead). I immediately called one or two of Eggs Media's references and they sounded good. They were fairly priced and were also in North America, which was important.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

After we put the website up, our customers and followers commented on how great it looked and said that it looked like we upped our game and were successful, which was good. People noticed a profound difference.

Additionally, our page views, time spent on the website, and sales are way up. It’s hard to separate the impact of the pandemic on e-commerce versus the impact of the changes we made, but we strongly believe that the website is better looking, easier to use, and more informative.

How did Eggs Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Baldo was our project manager, and the team was mostly on schedule in spite of the pandemic. They communicated honestly, and we used email and tickets. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their responsiveness was excellent. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I wish I had known more about what to expect in terms of iterations and the timing of completion right from the start. They could’ve sat me down before we started and outlined everything. 

Once we got into it, I understood the process better, but I went into it blind, which was my fault as much as anyone else’s. It was a minor area of improvement, and I was happy with the results and the process.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Look around and have an idea of what you think you like style- and features-wise so that you can guide them. That’s how Eggs Media will do the best job.

What challenge were you trying to address with Eggs Media?

I purchased the business and inherited its beta-looking website. The site was a simple page where a user clicked a couple of buttons and saw pictures of the clinic that weren’t very nice. I hired Eggs Media to make an aesthetically and functionally better website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Eggs Media first designed a logo for us. Their team made a brand catalog, which started the website redesign overall.

We gave them a reference website as an example of how we wanted our website to look and function. From there, they redeveloped the website.

The new website has a dialogue box where clients can leave messages. We get a lot of patient emails through the site. They also created buttons that say book now so that patients are directed to get in touch with us.

We started the project in January 2018, and it wrapped up in April 2018.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The website flows more naturally and the dialogue box allowed us to get more patients. The website looks good, which gives us credibility. New patients search online and see our aesthetically pleasing website. That makes them more comfortable calling us. Also, we got a better applicant pool for support staff. The website looked more professional, so it brought in a more professional applicant pool.

How did Eggs Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Baldo went above and beyond the call of duty. We could email him at any time. If he didn’t get back to us within a few hours, he responded first thing the next morning. He was responsive to us and our requests.  The project was managed perfectly, so we didn’t have any issues.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their responsiveness stands out. It was great to have someone available nearly at our beck and call. Our relationship didn’t end once we paid them. Every time I have a question about the website, Eggs Media’s there. For example, I needed to put a banner on the website about the status of the clinic during the pandemic. Baldo took care of it. He’s always followed up and stuck with us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything specific. I was pleased with all of their work.

Communication’s huge. Eggs Media is open about all aspects of the project. As long as you’re keeping an open forum with them, you’ll get exactly above and beyond what you wanted.
