of the lips where other products simply mask the symptoms, giving temporary relief but nothing long-lasting. Lipsmart has built a name for itself in the health and beauty industry, which is no easy feat, so we wanted their website to reflect the ingenuity of their products.


Modernity Meets Minimalism

The site has a clean, modern feel to it. The animations are light and minimalistic, but add a sense of fluidity when browsing pages. A neutral-tone color palette set within a framework of straight lines and similar rectangles give the content on the site room to breathe. The open feel complements the subject matter: beauty and health products should make you feel lighter and brighter just like the Lipsmart website does.

eCuras integrated a full online store using WooCommerce to provide a simple and streamlined way for customers to purchase products. Everything on the site is tailored to increase sales. The CTAs are designed to teach the visitor the essential information and then invite them to buy. development with MAMBA was a ground-up process. The site focuses on a smooth, streamlined feel when you scroll through it. It’s aesthetically-pleasing, it’s functional, it’s enticing to its users. All animations and graphics were done by our team and custom-tailored for MAMBA and the style of visuals they were looking for. Writing the HTML from scratch and then developing the site into WordPress let us customize what we wanted and also gave MAMBA the ability to make changes through the WordPress CMS once the site was finished.

In designing ABii’s website, we wanted a look and feel that matched the tone of the product. It was vital that we touched on the themes of education, robotics, and student-centric learning. Consequently, our design features background graphics relating to elementary education, numerous pictures of the robot itself, and photos of students using ABii.

All this increased traffic to ABii’s website would be useless without an effective way to convert those clicks into sales. Using Wordpress as the structural base for the site, we fully integrated an ecommerce store with WooCommerce to make it fast and easy to purchase ABii right from the site. Midgard Publishing is tackling America’s reading crisis head-on with a cast of creative, story-centered history textbooks. They see the problem of decreased reading rates among

children and young-adults as a failure of our education system and not the kids themselves. Textbooks such as American Hero recount the integral parts of American history by using storytelling as the driving force.


Inspiring Design

We reflected this creative and engaging form of teaching in every part of their website. The initial sweeping animation, including the Midgard logo and other graphics were all designed and implemented by eCuras. They mirror the exciting nature of the site’s content and products but keep a clear focus on Midgard’s mission to educate through stories.


WooCommerce Ready

Of course, the purpose of all these design elements and graphical techniques is to lead to higher sales for Midgard. To close the gap between visitor and converted sale, we integrated a full store using WooCommerce into the Midgard framework. This makes it ridiculously easy to purchase their textbooks, and we even included preview functionality for several of the books. In particular, we included a sample price banner for American Hero that anyone can see right from the “Shop” page.


Built for the Brand

We built Midgard’s website with its particular brand-identity in mind. The dragon-Midgard logo is present on every page and there are numerous backdrops resembling old-time maps as well as relevant graphics interspersed throughout the site. With every site eCuras creates, the focus is always to make the brand abundantly clear and then to increase sales through strong brand-identity. Midgard’s site is simply another example of how eCuras curates the web for each client we serve.

Support Redesigned 

Phoenix Audio was a unique project for us, in that they already had an operating website, but were lacking an effective support section and an intuitive route for clients to reach that section. We helped Phoenix establish a responsive support system with integrated tickets for customer assistance. This allows customers to easily outline the assistance they need and it helps Phoenix view and respond to the requests in an effective manner.

Streamlined Process

The support system designed for Phoenix was made with ease of use and accessibility in mind. It actually links to separate site, but the transition is so seamless, it looks as if you haven’t even left Phoenix’s site. By keeping the header and footer consistent with Phoenix’s site, we successfully combined two sites into a cohesive process for the user. This makes the customer service experience better for Phoenix and their users, streamlining the pathway from questions to answers. This is evident in every part of the support section.

Changed Interactions

This simplistic approach, with a focus on action, presents a UX that leads to faster interaction. There is less time browsing the site looking for what you need and more time finding solutions. Phoenix Audio Technologies has a support system that now encourages interaction and is more intuitive for both user and the company itself by bringing the two parties together faster and with more information about the others’ needs.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CEO of a robotics company. We developed smart robot tutors to promote learning for K-12 students.


What challenge were you trying to address with eCuras?

We were looking for someone to develop a really robust website and provide digital marketing services for us.


What was the scope of their involvement?

They designed and implemented our website, pretty much from the ground up, with a few parts that were imported from our old site. Most of it was custom designed. The e-commerce component is completely new; They added pages with facts about the product, the team, and all the traction we’ve received.  

They’re also doing a lead generation campaign for us through LinkedIn. It’s our first foray into the marketing services agreement we’ve entered with them.

What is the team composition?

We work with two members of their team.

How did you come to work with eCuras ?

They were recommended by someone who was working for us at the time. They mentioned that they were really good at creating dynamic websites, so we reached out from there.

Working with their team has been super easy. They’re very amenable to using different platforms to meet. We do video calls and screen-shares so we can look at things together and really be specific about what needs to be improved upon.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I think one of their best traits is that they are very responsive, which is hugely important since this is a public-facing platform. They usually respond to our questions or concerns in just a few hours. In fact, they’re typically already addressing the problem when they get back to us. Their responsiveness has been a tremendous lifesaver because we’re a very young company, and are constantly adding and changing things on a regular basis. We appreciate that they’re capable of making changes quickly. Their level of support is really just priceless.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I think one of the things they could improve on is giving us more involvement from other parts of their team. It would be great to have contact with more technical members of their team who can more directly answer our questions about SEO, for example. It might save us a little time and provide more insights for me, as a CEO. It’s not a huge drawback, though, since my points of contact have been great at communication.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

We’ve been super happy. My advice would be to get on the phone and talk with them about your requirements, and your plans for the next several months or years. Talking with them on the phone, hearing their ideas, and looking at their mockups were what sold us as a company in the first place. They pretty much sell themselves.
