New Wave supplies products and merchandise for companies and municipal goverment. They have a complex setup with 100+ separate customer webshops, with alot of customisations.
New Wave was seeking to replace their old legacy e-commerce plattform, with high costs for licensing, as well as with a high level om manual operating.
They went with eComero and a Magento solutionm, which reduced their costs more than 60.000USD per year. The new solution also enabled complex intergrations with their customers environments such as PUNCHOUT - which is a requriment for being allowed to sell to municipalities in Sweden.

Closely is a fastgrowing Swedish brand who produces the worlds best underwear. Ecomero provided valuable insights in the DTC /B2C ecommerce business, and was an early partner who supported Closely from inception to release.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the former CEO of Felestad Trading. We’re a holding company in Sweden that has goods for anything a logo can be put on.
What challenge were you trying to address with eComero AB?
We were managing 50 online stores through another vendor who handled e-commerce development. Our team felt we needed something that was more controllable by us. If we wanted to make any changes, we’d have to call our vendor and they’d charge us way too much money. They had four developers so we were one of their last priorities. In essence, we were held down by the situation of having them as a vendor.
What was the scope of their involvement?
eComero AB handled everything from building the Magento solution to migrating everything from the old platform to the new one. They were a part of educational training for our personnel and also provided consulting.
We have an admin user account that allows us to manage all the shops in one place. Our team can change things directly through the solution. We can make automated connections between the solution and our PC system. When an order comes in, we can have it displayed on a big screen at the warehouse. We changed the whole business model.
What is the team composition?
We primarily worked with Niklas (Co-Founder & CEO) and Johan (E-Commerce Developer) but I know they worked with more people in the background.
How did you come to work with eComero AB?
I worked with Niklas when he was the CTO of an online fashion site. I was very impressed by how he managed to get the solution into the specific platform. I knew they were great so I contacted him. We were considering a couple of others but I decided to go with Niklas and Johan because I was more confident that they’d be able to deliver in time. We had a very specific timeframe.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our engagement lasted from November 2019–February 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
There were some boxes that needed to be ticked off. One was to launch on time, and we achieved that. The second requirement was that we needed a solution that’d fully replace the old one we had, and we also achieved that.
I wanted to add a couple of new features to push the solution beyond by automating the warehouse part, and they accomplished that as well. We wanted to have a punch-out solution, and that box was also ticked. Lastly, we wanted to stay within budget. All of those five boxes were ticked off. eComero AB is delivering a lot of value to the company.
How did eComero AB perform from a project management standpoint?
In short, they over-delivered. When I presented the deliverables to my company’s board, they were super happy. I feel confident in the quality of their work and I’d definitely work with them again.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Honesty and open communication are very important factors to me. It was vital that we have an open dialogue where we shared what we thought and that’s exactly what we did. They stuck to their words and went the extra mile.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I can’t think of anything.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Don’t hesitate because they’re really good. I’d recommend anyone to work with them.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the CEO of a company that traditionally has been designing and selling store interiors.
We now want to move into selling webshops as well since the core of the business is to enable our customers to reach and sell to their consumers, no matter channel, category or segment.
For what projects/services did your company hire eComero AB, and what were your goals?
Initially we needed a much better homepage that had better hitrate on Google. As the dialogue started we soon came up with the idea of having the help of eComero to start a whole new business area for us.
How did you select eComero AB and what were the deciding factors?
Through contacts on LinkedIn we made contact and after a first conversation we knew they levelled with us in a way we want to cooperate. Their skills were up to our expectations and beyond.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
eComero uses Magento as their platform which at first is complex but also have many possibilities. eComero, and Niklas Helgesson in particular, led the project as is expected from an experienced project manager with to-do-lists for all team members and made sure deliveries were made.
The project started as a new website for us but soon developed into being something more with our website as a shop window for what was to come.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
The team consisted of Niklas Helgesson, project manager and Kristofer, technical expert from eComero.
Then we had a Art Director from a separate bureau doing the design work in close collaboration with the three of us. Me being the client.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We have already had our first customres contact us due to finding us on Google which was more or less impossible before.
We also have 3 companies waiting to have webshops and webpages put up on our new Magento platform.

The complexity of Magento is difficult to grasp and some easy guidelines would be appreciated.
