Thanks to Ebicom's deployment prowess, the client has been rewarded with a new platform that features seamless solutions and user-friendly functionalities. The team is keen on supporting the client with accurate responses and immediate turnaround times despite the complexity of their tasks.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a member of PGE Centrum’s management board. We’re part of the largest energy group in Poland, and we outsource many of our business processes within the capital group.
What challenge were you trying to address with Ebicom?
We needed to upgrade our pre-existing and pre-provided CRM billing system to fit our own preferences and requirements.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The first two months of the project were dedicated to CRM development and deployment. Ebicom focused on optimizing our CRM by building new functionalities that met our requirements. We specifically wanted to build features that deployed automatic processes in order to streamline invoice delivery and provide our customers with enough access to all our products and services online.
The system module integrated more of our scope and processes, so our company's energy products were highlighted more — this was the second phase of the project. Upon securing the product’s deployment, we moved on to the system stabilization and maintenance phase. Additionally, we needed all the functionalities to be flexible enough for us to arrange and customize them on our own.
Ebicom’s team continuously supports us with their services by adding and updating functionalities that can better feature our services to our customers.
What is the team composition?
I mainly work with Ebicom’s project manager and business analysts, but the development tasks have been delegated to about 15 resources from different departments.
How did you come to work with Ebicom?
Out of all the options that we were considering during the selection process, Ebicom had the most flexible solutions and pricing. Additionally, we wanted to work with a team that also operated within the energy sector.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested around $1,000,000 so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started in January 2018, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our company has listed a lot of functionalities that we wanted to be integrated into our system, and Ebicom has quickly deployed all necessary solutions with satisfactory results. Altogether, I can say that I’m really happy with the work that Ebicom produces for us.
How did Ebicom perform from a project management standpoint?
We have weekly meetings to discuss deliverables and timelines. Their team is responsive when it comes to fixing any issues that we encounter in the system. There are times when doing so takes them more than 24 hours, but it’s understandable because that only happens when they have to deal with more complex solutions. Ebicom is also a communicative team that listens closely to our feedback.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their speedy deployment process has been really impressive.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It’s not really a big deal, but they could set agreement requirements to accurately calculate turnaround times and avoid prolonged delivery timelines.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Make sure to come up with a precise agreement that meets your business requirements. If you want them to deploy a system for you, try to understand the code work as well, so you know how long it should take them to accomplish everything.
