Since 2012, I have been working full- or part-time as a design strategist and facilitator for small businesses, non-profits, large companies, municipalities, and community-based organizations. Through both paid and pro bono work, I’ve created a fantastic body of work and knowledge I use to inform every project I work on. In my role as advisor, I use my skills as a master facilitator, design strategist, service designer, (sometimes) negotiator, business strategist, workshop developer, etc. to generate thoughtful, comprehensive strategies for clients. I split my time between paid and pro bono work, so no matter what size the project or organization, I can have the impact I want. Whether I’m designing workshop curriculum for a citizen-led movement, creating a customized innovation model for a huge enterprise, or bringing multiple agencies together to collaborate on a new services portal for a large city, my process involves thinking holistically about inputs and outputs that will mean success for my clients.
