What challenge were you trying to address with Dynamic Edge Creative?
I was looking for a company that could help develop apps with my team. Creating apps takes a lot of communication and clear flows of information, so it’s important to work with the right people.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Dynamic Edge Creative handled a lot of the coding for our app development, which is on both iOS and Android. They’ve made many changes since coming on board, and the app looks a lot different than it used to. When I want to add any new features to the app, I’ll go directly to them and they will either change the code to make it happen or explain why my requests might not work in certain areas. Generally, it takes 4–6 weeks to add a feature to the app, though it varies based on the project.
They also help with frontend development, in addition to their backend work. They’ve improved the UI/UX of the app, which was a bit tricky to navigate when we first launched. They have a lot of control over how we develop as a team, and they make great suggestions for improvements. We’ve worked together on three separate projects within the development of one app.

I work with around six people from Dynamic Edge Creative. There’s one main point of contact, which helps streamline communication. I’ll communicate my needs to that contact, and they’ll coordinate with the rest of the development teams.

I found them on LinkedIn. Along with around 15 other companies, they reached out to me to offer their development services. I chose them due to the high level of communication that they displayed.

What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with Dynamic Edge Creative in February 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
As far as getting the work done, they are as prompt as possible while still doing great work. I’ve worked with developers in the past who worked faster, but their delivered products were much buggier. In addition to staying on schedule, they also stick to our budget.
They’ve really done a great job with both the front- and backend development for our app. Navigation, functionality, and speed have all improved.
How did Dynamic Edge Creative perform from a project management standpoint?
We’ve communicated on many different platforms, including via phone calls, email, Slack, Teams, Zoom, Trello, and Skype. However, our main communication channel has been Skype.
What did you find most impressive about them?
What’s most impressive to me is the high level of communication. A big reason I stopped working with my old developers was that I didn’t get a sense of respect in how they communicated — it would often take 36–48 hours to respond to a message. That issue is completely gone with Dynamic Edge Creative, because they are very communicative.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of any improvements off the top of my head.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be prepared for lots of communication. Unlike other developers, Dynamic Edge Creative doesn’t overpromise on their capabilities, and they will always take the time to explain exactly what they can and can’t do when you make a request. This saved us a lot of time in the long-term, just by taking a little longer to plan things at the start.

My expertise is graphic design, so I needed expert web developers to build sites for our clients.

What was the scope of their involvement?
Our first project together was quite complicated — we needed a website with a calendar-based system where a user can upload Excel sheets. Dynamic Edge Creative was able to deliver it, so we continued working with them.
They’ve recently done a website for a company that provides import and export freight services. My client wanted to update their old site because it only had one page. I was the one in communication with the client, and we went through the ideation process together. It was then that Dynamic Edge Creative stepped in. Under my direction, they were able to update the site and incorporate my designs through a video.
Whenever a client needs a website built, we always go to them. The team has created almost every kind of website for us, including PHP, WordPress, and e-commerce. There was also one site where they integrated a blog into it.
What is the team composition?
I primarily communicate with Priyank (Business Development Specialist). He works with a team of developers, but I don't really have contact with them.

They were referred to me by my former professor when I needed help creating a delicate and complex website.

Dynamic Edge Creative is the best of the best — they’ve created multiple websites for my clients, who always end up very happy with the results. Throughout the partnership, I’ve never received negative feedback from my customers. I myself have no complaints about their work. Whenever I need help with web development, I immediately go to them because their output is always perfect.
How did Dynamic Edge Creative perform from a project management standpoint?
Priyank is the one that takes care of project management, and it's always on point. He always picks whoever is best for the project at hand. If a client needs a specific feature, he'll delegate it to an expert in that particular field. I've also never had any complaints about deadlines. The team has delivered sites in less than a month, pleasing my clients.
Communicating with them is very easy. We usually correspond via email — this allows the team to keep track of everything. Dynamic Edge Creative is excellent at listing down all the vital information. All our projects end up being really fun. They are very collaborative, and I’m always free to give my input — whenever we need to change anything, they deliver the modifications almost immediately.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The speed and quality of their work are really impressive. Everything's just perfect and robust. The team stays up to date on the best coding techniques. That’s what makes their work 100% in terms of quality. The sites don't break after a short amount of time. On the rare occasion that a client has any issues, Dynamic Edge Creative makes sure that it's up and running within 24 hours.

We wanted to integrate multiple shopify connections into our existing platform.

My coworker found them.

We had a meeting about the project, we knew exactly what our customer expected. We've been trying to translate his wishes into certain action points to create a good connection between our existing platform and shopfiy.

3, a webdeveloper, a programmer and a manager.

The project is not yet finished.

We set up a time window and had all communication trough skype.
