Please describe your company and your position there.

Our bank focuses on providing small- and medium-sized business entrepreneurs with financial solutions tailored to their needs. I am a marketing studio manager, a person who integrates the efforts of our in-house marketing team and our external service suppliers. Our innovative products are widely recognized and brought us over 60 awards from 2016–2018. Among others, we've been awarded by Forbes, EFMA, and Fintech Innovation.

For what projects/services did your company hire Dyfuzja?

We were looking for a software house that would be a partner in our marketing efforts. I needed to find an external team who would continuously take jobs from us, understand their meaning and deal with them. We wanted an external team who would offer creativity when needed, and know when it’s better to stick to the brief. That kind of partnership was crucial for the success of our marketing efforts.

What were your goals for this project?

Most of our marketing efforts are targeted at gathering more leads. Of course, during our cooperation there were projects aiming to boost our brand recognition and help our PR department, but mainly we needed to optimize lead generation.

How did you select this vendor?

I have been working with Marcin (CEO, Dyfuzja) before he established his own company. I was struck by his professional and goal-driven approach to the work ahead of him. As soon as I learned that he was creating a new team of pros, I knew I needed to give it a try.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

The service was simple to describe, yet complex in delivery. Dyfuzja did frontend development for various projects and took care of the technical details behind our marketing efforts.

What was the team composition?

We worked with a frontend developer, a project manager, a designer, and a manual tester. I also had direct access to the CEO. I had direct contact with the developer, and the project manager only took action in more complex cases. The designer and tester also acted only when necessary.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our bank’s growth ratio in 2017 was 144%. This would not be the case if not for the efforts in which Dyfuzja took considerable part.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Although my direct contact with the developer was not standard, it was nothing less than I expected from the partnership. Their CEO was also quite helpful in a few cases due to his fintech marketing experience.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They don’t really know the word “impossible”. They know how to react to situational changes. There were times when I was informed that taking on the amount of work that we suggested would cause holdups and work obstructions. They impressed me because they always came up with a solution. But what most impressed me was that they knew how to inform their client about facts that clients don’t really want to know.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I’m waiting for them to scale up. Knowing their management skills, I’m sure this will mean lower prices with the same quality of deliverables.

For what projects/services did your company hire Dyfuzja?

We underwent several major operational changes and we needed a new online image. We contracted with Dyfuzja to assist with web development to this end.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted a website that would inform customers of all our services in a simple and descriptive way. We also wanted to improve our conversion rate.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

They came recommended internally, as people in our company had worked with them before. In addition, their strong understanding of the financial services sector and their affordable pricing pushed us to choose them.

They designed, developed, and launched three product websites: one for accounting, one for cloud-based invoicing, and one for our franchise program. All projects were completed within two or three sprint cycles.

We worked with a project manager, a designer, and two developers.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our sales have more than doubled within three months since the launch of our new websites.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Our project manager performed very well. They worked efficiently.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The quality of design stood out. We could count on their creative approach and advice during each project.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We found some glitches that their QA testing missed, but they were nothing really serious.

I am the CCO at IQ Money, Poland's first robo-advisory platform. Our users can leverage advanced AI algorithms that help them make their decisions when it comes to investing savings into investment funds or bank deposits.

For what projects/services did your company hire Dyfuzja?

We began as a startup company at the end of 2016, and after several months we managed to prepare our core system in-house. We had the proper functionalities, but we required outside assistance to create the frontend of our platform.

What were your goals for this project?

We prioritized simplicity and visual attractiveness. Our platform targets people who have little or no experience in investing, so it had to appear easy to use.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I worked with several members of their staff at a different company. I valued the quality of their work in the past, and I felt confident that they wouldn’t let me down.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

Dyfuzja designed the frontend from scratch. They presented us with UX mock-ups, and, pending our approval, they completed the design work using React.js. Once complete, we relied on Dyfuzja to connect the frontend with our core system—which was no simple task because the latter was evolving along the way.

What was the team composition?

We work with a team comprised of two frontend developers, one backend developer, a product tester, and a project manager. We connected with a UX and web designer when necessary.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We began earning sales on the same day that we launched the MVP of our platform. Since that time, we have continued working with Dyfuzja on advancing the functionalities—as outlined in our development roadmap.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Managing the project was not easy from either side. Dyfuzja had to adapt to frequent changes in our core system, which was being developed and improved concurrently with the frontend. Overall, they handled these tasks well, and we have no complaints regarding their project management style.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Dyfuzja is a strong option as an external software house. To launch our MVP, they needed to integrate into our IT department and work as one team. Since we didn't have the opportunity to stay at one office all the time, we conducted several two-day workshops to coordinate the engagement.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Although the development work was going smoothly, I noticed some occasional delays in delivering designs and mock-ups. These were not substantial delays—one or two days at the most, and the overall amount of work likely caused them—but that would be the only area for improvement.
