Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of The Software House, a software services firm based in Poland.
What challenge were you trying to address with DSK Kancelaria?
We needed help getting tax refunds for our R&D, and we also wanted to extend our support in legal matters for the company. Although we had an in-house lawyer, she needed help.
What was the scope of their involvement?
DSK provides us with ongoing support for anything concerning legal matters. They answer any legal questions we have. They help us sign new contracts, sign with new clients, negotiate, and make changes to contracts. The team also helps us with internal matters concerning our employees and everything related to taxes.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with up to 10 people from DSK, both on the tax and legal sides. We work with partners in complicated matters and also receive support from associates.
How did you come to work with DSK Kancelaria?
We met their managing director during a conference in 2019. We got to chatting, continued the conversation online, and DSK ended up helping us with one of our first projects.

So far, we’ve spent $250,000.

We started working together in October 2019, and the engagement is ongoing.

We’re very satisfied with DSK’s support and happy to be working with them. They’re quite successful in helping us close contracts with our clients. The team is always very helpful, responsive, and able to help us quickly. They have a lot of knowledge in legal matters, taxes, and also about business; we consult business topics with their partners.
How did DSK Kancelaria perform from a project management standpoint?
We use Slack for communication and Google Docs for collaboration. Whenever we have a call, we either use Zoom or Google Meet. Although we’ve emailed sometimes, it’s rare. I believe they use Asana internally, though we don’t need to get access.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I find DSK’s knowledge of all legal matters impressive. Additionally, they have a broad view of our business; they’re a great help with all kinds of matters, not only legal.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Nothing they need to improve comes to mind.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I strongly recommend DSK; they’re very good at what they do, so I’d encourage you to work with them.
