The client submitted this review online.
Please describe your company and your position there.
Rent1 provides earthmoving rental equipment to consumers and developers. I am the head of rental management.
For what projects/services did your company hire Drip Marketing, and what were your goals?
We hired Drip for their SEO, link building, media generation and web design services.
How did you select Drip Marketing and what were the deciding factors?
Drip had a full-stack team. No one else could give us everything in one place.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and campaigns.
We approved a case study on https://www.dripmarketing.co/case-study/rent-1-heavy-equipment/. Please check for details.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
2 people. I work with Puya and Jessica. Puya is the head marketing and Jessica is their project manager.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
What can I say? We've doubled our revenue every year for 5 years. The leads usually stop in the winter but because of what they've done, we're getting larger jobs now.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
They operate an open-door policy. I can call Puya or Jessica any time I want. We meet bi-monthly for details on what needs to be done. We do most of our meetings over Google Hangouts.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They are the only company who increased our leads, rankings and revenue. We've worked with others and they've done nothing but disappoint.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
They hired media specialist a little late. If they did this earlier, they would be the perfect team.

Web Design & SEO Services for Residential Cleaning Company
"Besides being responsive and understanding, I feel that they care and really want to help me."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of a small business in Vancouver. We provide residential, open-house, and move-out cleaning services. I’ve been in the industry for about 15 years.
What challenge were you trying to address with Drip Marketing?
It’s difficult to compete with bigger cleaning companies because they spend a lot of money on marketing and promotion. We were having a hard time staying relevant so I needed somebody who understood what we needed to do about keywords and help improve our rankings on Google.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They offered to provide me with monthly reports that we could sit down to discuss since I don’t know a lot about how everything works on the backend. However, I explained to their team that I'm more interested in seeing my call volume increase.
From there, they performed a site audit, keyword implementation, blogging, and citations so I have given them access to my website. They went and changed some of the images on there as well and redid one of the pages completely.
What is the team composition?
Puya (Digital Marketing Director) and another person are helping me out.
How did you come to work with Drip Marketing?
I did some research online and found another cleaning company that was appearing everywhere. Since I was really overwhelmed and stressed by everything with Google, I wanted to know how they were constantly increasing their visibility. I looked into who was doing their SEO and saw that Drip Marketing was behind it.
There was no question or need to interview; I had already seen what they could do. Since the other cleaning company was exploding online, I knew I had to work with Drip Marketing.
How much have you invested with them?
On a monthly basis, I’ve spent probably $4,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
I brought them on in December 2020 and I’m still working with them.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We noticed an increase in call volume within 2–3 weeks. Even before COVID-19, our calls were going down but now we’re back up higher than where started and I’m very happy and grateful.
Our rank has also gone back up on the first fold of the results page. They said that some of my keywords were coming up on the later pages but I needed them to be on the first page. I’m sure everything takes time and they’re still working on it. Where I’m at right now, though, they're already making a huge difference.
How did Drip Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?
I leave the work up to them. They send me emails and call once in a while if I have a question. They are really good at getting back to me within the same day when there is something I don’t understand. Other companies I've worked with were really bad at communicating and wouldn't get back to me.
If there are any issues or if Drip Marketing is changing something, they will discuss it with me. Puya in particular was really nice, very hands-on, and made it easy for me without making me feel stupid.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Besides being responsive and understanding, I feel that they care and really want to help me. Other companies would simply send a video about how to set up a blog if I was struggling, whereas Drip Marketing sends detailed and personalized step-by-step instructions along with the video. They make it so simple and even offer to assist me if I needed anything else. They never make me feel like I am bothering them.
They also gave me an amazing discount. They were really compassionate when I explained that I don’t have the capabilities that larger companies have. I have a small company so they likely took that into account, too.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There is nothing else they could do. I have high praise for them. Other companies with more experience and background might have a different opinion but for my small business, they are wonderful.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Talk to the team and let them do their thing.
For five consecutive years, the revenue doubled. Drip Marketing's deliverables attracted larger projects for the client. The team is always available and holds bi-monthly meetings to discuss the tasks.
