We are also known for our exceptional hand-woven rugs which are manufactured at our state-of-the-art facility in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. I am the Sr. Asst. Digital Marketing at Perennials India.

We were going to make a few key announcements in two upcoming press conferences—the opening of Perennials studio in Mumbai, and the successful expansion of our manufacturing facility in Vadodara, Gujarat, our manufacturing headquarters for rugs. We hired Dreamfoot to conceptualize and create social impact videos based on our positive impact on the lives of our weavers. Machine-made carpets have taken over the rug-making industry.
The art of hand-weaving in India is now dying out. Perennials values and preserves this unique artistic heritage by housing 500 weavers from all over India to produce fine, intricate hand-woven rugs. The videos highlighted the contrasting lives of weavers before coming to Perennials with their improved lives after being a part of the Perennials family. We wanted each video to deliver personal impact by having them centered on individual weavers, their issues, art, family and more.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Dreamfoot had made a brilliant corporate video for us in 2019. They also had plenty of experience in making social impact films. Upon a discussion, it became apparent that they would be the best choice to handle such a project.
Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.
Dreamfoot suggested that we should take the weavers to their hometowns to best depict how their life was back home. And to get authentic views and video shots. We selected three weavers from our team belonging to the handwoven carpet hubs of India. After interviewing them, Dreamfoot presented a detailed analysis of which angles each weaver’s story was covering. While shooting, they used a set of questions to steer the narrative in the right direction. It was a three-day shoot schedule, with one day for each weaver.
They even interviewed an elderly person from the village to build a better context for the story. Impressive, to say the least. After a few revisions, the videos were aptly communicating the impact areas we wanted to address. The videos showed how Perennials had given a new lease of life to the weavers who had to work in sub-standard conditions and couldn’t earn decent wages while being a part of this cottage industry in their hometown.
Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?
Dreamfoot had briefed us beforehand about the different stages of the process. The deadline was tight but because we previously worked with them, we knew they would deliver in time. The feedback was generally via email and we were informed of the project’s status at each stage.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Overall, I believe that this was a fruitful endeavour. Our CEO, who flew in from the USA for the inauguration, was incredibly moved by the videos. Many of the guests praised the videos as well. The videos perfectly did their job of portraying us as a caring, compassionate, forward-thinking, art-driven brand.

We did not have to do much back and forth with them, but we maintained a simple and smooth workflow. Their thoroughness made it very easy to work together.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Dreamfoot was dedicated to providing a superior customer experience. Once they learned that the video needed some re-working to match our vision, they asked us what was missing. And then got right back to the workstation and kept at it.

We recently launched a developer-centric SaaS platform named DhiWise to help app and web developers focus on the productive side of coding. I was formerly the Director of Coruscate Solutions and now I am one of the Directors at DhiWise.

We hired Dreamfoot to make a video for our platform's introduction to be showcased on our homepage and generate curiosity before the launch of our platform. The project entailed a very short deadline for an animation video, but they embraced the challenge. Goals: We wanted the video to demonstrate the functions that our platform can accomplish for its users. It was important to highlight its key features and benefits, through this video. The main goal was to use the video as a lead magnet and get more users to sign up for early access to our platform.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We were looking through vendors who had previous experience in making explainer videos for SaaS platform. We wanted to work with someone who would understand the technical side of things as that would reduce the burden of explaining our product. We saw Dreamfoot’s portfolio and after the first round of discussion, we knew that they were the right fit for us.

After briefing them, the team immediately set to researching and writing. And remarkably, we received the script the next day itself. Dreamfoot matched this agility and proactiveness throughout the rest of the process. However, there was one issue pertaining to the voiceover artist. The name of our platform used the Sanskrit language which was difficult to pronounce for American VO artists.
Dreamfoot’s team went out of their way to try and get the artist to speak the name correctly. They even approached other artists. And I deeply appreciate their painstaking efforts. Finally, the video turned out to be exactly like we wanted. Dreamfoot had indeed listened to our requirements, paid attention to minute details and delivered the perfect video for us.

We worked with the lady herself Shweta. The entire team's attention to their customers is unparalleled. They were very professional and up to the mark with respect to accepting feedback and making helpful suggestions. They added great value to the entire process and even helped us understand customer reception.

Through the video, we got an early access registration spike. The amount of early access registrations has increased exponentially as compared to sans the video.

Maharishi Atreya Health Centre (MAHC) is a facility where we provide ayurvedic treatments and services. I am a practising doctor and the centre head.
For what projects/services did your company hire Dreamfoot?
We had hired Dreamfoot for two projects. For the first, we wanted them to create a video tour for our Ayurvedic Retreat Centre. Seeing the success of that video, we decided to continue our partnership with them. Se we hired them again to create a series of 70 training videos on Yoga Asanas.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted to leverage these videos as live sessions on social media to engage with our patients during the lockdown. We also wanted to share these videos with our patients as part of their post-operative care routine so that they can continue their treatment back home. Yoga Asanas need to be performed in a particular way. Any incorrect movement can cause physical damage to the patient. This made it very important that the videos should very clear in define the poses and actions that the instructor performs so that patients can imitate them accurately from home.
How did you select Dreamfoot?
We had done a very exhaustive search for video production agencies. We called many vendors for an in-person meeting. And out of those, we felt that Dreamfoot actually understood our sector quite well. The way they pitched resonated with us. They were credible and were not going over the top with marketing. Dreamfoot suggested that we should leverage client testimonials in the video tour to add credibility to the video. That’s why we selected them for our first project together. And, time prove that it really worked.

We wanted them to shoot one of our instructors performing Yoga. Since we needed a bulk of 70 videos, they had meticulously planned the days for the shoot. Our primary concern was that the minute actions and positions of fingers and toes should be captured appropriately. So, they arranged a multicamera set up in their studio to capture the Asanas from various angles. We also wanted the audio to be captured during the shoot. Dreamfoot complied with all our demands and facilitated an effortless process with their expertise and professionalism. The videos we received were very well made and seamlessly conveyed the details about the Asanas.

We really appreciated the regularity with which they kept us updated on the projects and the quickness of responding to our feedback.

We needed the videos to relay every important detail regarding our campaigns. The campaigns we were submitting were pretty elaborate with a lot of execution details and we need a showcase video which would showcase our campaign brief, extensive planning, execution and results with a short 3-min video.

This was a data heavy project. After briefing them about our campaigns, we gave them access to our research, statistics and the strategy behind our action plan. The way they creatively visualised and presented our data was very good and highly appreciated. They did a great job bringing numbers to life in a visually engaging format. Both videos were unique in their own way. One used stock animation and the other used icon animation with motion graphics. They captured every important aspect about our campaign and managed to create very compelling case study videos for us. We were completely satisfied with their efforts.

The process of videos involved strategizing how the product can be video documented during its many stages of engineering, fabrication, and delivery, planning the on-road logistics as it involved permission of several government agencies, filming spread over many months at fabrication sites and shipping yard, interviewing multiple stakeholders for internal communication film, collaborating with the engineering team to get inputs for the technical 3D animation.
Daily communication with the team and creative discussions make the collaboration seamless.

Dreamfoot's planning was excellent. They took the time to fully understand the requirements and the shooting locations, making suggestions ahead of the shoot to ensure we got some amazing footage.
