I’m a project estimator at a commercial and residential roofing company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Double Up Digital?

We wanted to get our name out there. Double Up Digital was hired to bring in more clients for our business without performing traditional marketing techniques.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Double Up Digital built our company a custom website, designing and providing maintenance support. They also perform digital marketing services such as Google Ads, SEO, and other internet marketing campaigns. We had a lot of input, and Cullie (CEO, Double Up Digital) let us know what would work and what structure everything needed to be in.

What is the team composition?

Along with Cullie, we talk with Joel (Co-founder–Director of Digital Marketing, Double Up Digital) and Justin (Co-founder–Director of Design & Development, Double Up Digital).

How did you come to work with Double Up Digital?

Our owner and Cullie were fraternity brothers, and I went to high school with Cullie. He actually got me the job with the roofing company.

How much have you invested with them?

I believe we spend between $3,000–$5,000 a month. Throughout the engagement, we’ve spent a total of $25,000–$50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement began in 2015.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

There’s been an exponential client increase for our business. Once, our owner had to call Cullie and ask him to pause their work because we couldn’t handle all of the leads. We’re on the ads tab on the first page of Google.

How did Double Up Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

When we first started working, there were a few hiccups on what was required and what was needed due to a lack of communication. After we had a meeting with all the minds involved, we were able to work out all the kinks, and it’s been running smoothly ever since. Our teams communicate through email, phone, and text. I think our owner and Cullie speak once a month.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Our website is user-friendly for us to use without having a web and marketing backend. We can access the backend of our site with ease. We’ve had a substantial performance and client increase due to Double Up Digital’s services.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything at the top of my head.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

We had miscommunication at the beginning of our engagement. I recommend that clients let Double Up Digital do what they do best. Don’t try and tell them how to build a website. Provide them the information they need and let them do what they do.
