BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the senior operations manager for an app solution company. We’ve developed a web portal for driving instructors and students with multi-search functionalities. We also have mobile apps.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with DoodleMango?

We needed to create an animated video to support our advertising efforts.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’ve run two projects with DoodleMango, both for animated videos. The first video was 80 seconds in length, and the second one was 50 seconds. Their team handles everything from concept to production. Most ideas on how to create the video are suggested by their team, and they help us find ways to convey information to viewers.  

What is the team composition?

One person is working directly with me, and the rest of the team works in the background.

How did you come to work with DoodleMango?

I came across their website and found that they’d worked on a lot of local projects. We thought DoodleMango could create a good animated video for us, so we reached out and gave them a description of our project. Once they showed us, in detail, how our final product could look, we decided to hire them.  

How much have you invested with them?

So far, the cost for both videos has been under $5,000. The first video was around $700 and the second is $500.  

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with DoodleMango in December 2018, and the collaboration is ongoing. The videos are complete, but we have a few more animated graphics and other projects with them.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve launched the website for our friends and families, and we’re working on doing a UK-wide launch. We’ve gotten positive reviews on the videos. This project has helped us reach out and connect to people.  

How did DoodleMango perform from a project management standpoint?

We haven’t used any project management tools, but they’ve been very good at communicating. I can get in contact with the project manager to convey requirements whenever needed. They’re great at making estimates and get back to us within a day with a proposal. If something doesn’t fit perfectly, they’ll find a solution.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their high level of communication is what stands out about them. We’re quite impressed with them, which is why we’ve continued giving them projects, and we’ll use them for any animation work in the future.  

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing they could do to improve.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

It’s important to keep in mind that DoodleMango can assist with more than video production. They also have web development skills and can do other tasks.
