Star Health and Allied Insurance
Star Health and Allied Insurance Co Ltd is the first private standalone Indian insurance company. It has more than 400 offices across India and around 8500+ hospitals under its network.
doodleblue was approached to build an intuitive UX to create a seamless mobile app for customers, that is engaging, simple and convenient to use. To break the outdated and standard design style used by insurance companies, we opted for trendy, eye-pleasing designs that included illustrations to make it welcoming and for customers and agents.
We updated agents’ app with key features like agent daily tracking, agent office suite on the move and lead onboarding workflow. Additionally, we enhanced the user interface of the agent’s app to make it simpler and convenient to use, which allowed agents to access and fetch information of policyholders at any time from anywhere.
Agents portal was built to help them access the platform from their desktops with vital features like premium calculator, notes, the status of appointments, etc.

Bijilipay
Bijlipay is an end to end payment solution provider with a vision to serve financial institutions and businesses through innovative payment solutions.
Their manual documentation was taxing for both the Bijlipay executive and the merchant/retailer. Merchants had to visit the Bijlipay office to submit the documents for verification and complete the registration process. This procedure took more than 3 days and involved a lot of up and down from the merchants' side and tedious follow up and verification by the Bijlipay staff.
We created an app that allowed retail outlets, restaurants, out-of-home entrepreneurs, professionals or delivery-model to upload PDF and other legal documents for verification and registration.
On uploading, documents were reflected on Bijilpay’s dashboard, which helped them instantly review and get in touch with the respective person.
We created functionality that helped in dividing documents into several groups and a facility to add comments (e.g. approved/challenged/questioned) to documents.

eShakti
eShakti is a women’s fashion clothing brand that has been rated among the 100 most innovative companies in the world for 2015 by Internet Retailer.
doodleblue was approached to build a responsive website with great UX across desktops, tablets, and mobile browsers. They also needed an app on the platforms - iOS and Android. Our goal was to provide the optimum browsing experience while maintaining the primary features and site content.
We helped eShakti with an interactive and immersive platform that provided a seamless shopping experience.

Mobily
Mobily, operates under Etihad Etisalat Co, is one of the largest telecommunication leaders in Saudi Arabia.
Being a legacy old app and with their growing subscriber base, Mobily needed to stabilize and revamp their design to match the scalability of operations and customer base.
Server Side Analysis
We addressed the flaws in code, logic implementation for better data handling algorithm, streamlining crash reports and documentation. We helped Mobily incorporate agile technology to increase performance and build a secure architecture.
Design Principles
For the visual performance of the app, we used light shades of blue with a minimum possible number of additional colors to create a clean and accurate appearance of the app. We maximized the convenience via smart UX and made the navigation system intuitive. This contributed to their metrics like stickiness, retention rate and increased engagement on their digital platforms.
SRS Documentation
We streamlined the fragmented documents and scattered pieces of information by creating a software document that laid the framework, specifications and functionalities of the product. This minimized the time and effort required by developers and bridged the gap between design and development.

Userlytics - Remote User Testing Platform
Userlytics is a premier Usability Testing Platform with a worldwide participant panel that allows customers to get instant insights from their target personas. It uses advanced testing features such as branching logic, automated transcriptions, prototype testing, etc.,
Being an advanced user testing platform, Userlytics needed to capture the qualitative and quantitative user experience data of participants by recording the screen, audio, webcam in a “Picture-in-Picture” format with metrics such as time on task, ease of use, success or failure, and more.
Userlytics engaged doodleblue to build a product that allowed synchronized views, include in-video annotation of hyperlinked comments for easy sharing, to run tests on multiple usability studies.
After analyzing the pros and cons of each integration, we recommended Userlytics to go ahead with Chrome extension integration. Userlytics extension was added to chrome, where the user can click on the extension to view the questions/tasks. Chrome extension was chosen as it helped in
We enabled screen recording of users - where they clicked, how they navigated, etc, which was uploaded to the server. This was a key area to collect insights on the way the user interacts with a prototype or a product.
Each task was displayed with a set of instructions on the users’ screen that guided the user on what had to be tested. This was done to collect feedback on their user experience of the prototype. As the video is recorded continuously , from the time the user starts testing until he finishes, the video had to be split in order to take only those clippings that are useful to the customer. This was done via a chrome extension. On entering the website URL, chrome extension was activated and users had to log in to Userlytics. We seamlessly uploaded these videos to their server, to efficiently sync both the recording of the user and the user's screen.

Validus Capital - Peer-to-peer lending company
Established in 2015, Validus is a leading online aggregator platform in Singapore, for SMEs to secure short term and medium term financing. It has over $100 million crowdfunded to date.
Being Singapore's top peer-to-business lending platform and with a growing user base, Validus recognized the need to automate their operational system to increase efficiency and productivity.
We implemented digital transformation to bring about operational changes by modifying their existing business process and customer experience to meet the growing market requirements.
FUND MANAGEMENT
The operations team at Validus, when accidentally clicked more than once on the funds button to update the fund amount to the current status, resulted in more deduction for the investor than the actual amount.
We wrote a unique code which did not allow the deduction on multi clicks and also placed a pop-up screen that warned about the same. To double-check on the fund status, we set system that generated automated balance sheet report on a daily basis which helped understand their funds account.
AUTO DEBIT
We integrated an auto debit loan option on their platform which allowed an automatic debit to loans for investors after matching the interests, depending on the investment limit set by the investor.
This increased investment participation rate. and generated, managed and stored the invoices eliminating the need for manual management.
COMPLIANCE PROCESS
The document submission field, did not restrict uploading duplicate documents. This made the file size large, causing wastage of storage space. Users found it difficult to login due to heavy and unnecessary loading of account
To solve this issue, we changed the storage address from salesforce to Amazon S3, as it stores data in the cloud which is highly scalable, fast, and archives data at a high-speed.

We sought a good and reliable supplier and our research and various other customer reviews offline led us to Doodleblue being one of the industry leaders in the skills we were looking for.

DoodleBlue developed the interface using Vue Js . The output included a web application, which is an internal application and of strategic nature to our business. DoodleBlue assisted with various modules of our Android native application that was user focused and required the understand and use of various new technologies such as IOT, AI and ML.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I had a specific POC allocated at DoodleBlue, who gathered my requirements and communicated them to his development team. His support was top notch and he invested a lot of time and effort with us in terms of project delivery and business aspects.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The platform developed by DoodleBlue's was robust and scalable which which was a huge advantage for us since our customer base was expanding at an rapid pace. DoodleBlue's Infra management team supported us in all the deployments and even at odd hours.
The quality of DoodleBlue's UI work was very good. They were sensitive in recording all our requirements, and they were quite interactive with us in terms of converting those requirements into an interface. We wanted users to have a comfortable experience, and I think we’ve achieved that. DoodleBlue has done very good development on their side.

We stayed in touch very well. Our teams had regular calls for status updates, and my main contact gave me status reports over email. Addition to that DoodleBlue also sent us a regular sprint plan's and bug reports which helped us to asses the rate of their work, also they mostly stick to the deadline and manage to fix any issues they encounter during the development easily
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They’re very sound technically. If I had a problem, I could confidently call them and describe it. They’d take some time and come back with their understanding of it, a couple of proposed solutions, and time and budget estimates. DoodleBlue 's technical strength is their biggest plus point. Our experience with them has been very positive.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
They’ve performed well so far, and we’re looking to engage them in other projects as well. What they provided was a perfect match with our requirements. I don’t have anything for them to improve, and I think they should continue doing a good job.

We hired doodleblue as our technology partner to help implement and develop Sarv's mobile application across Android and iOS platforms.
What were your goals for this project?
The primary goals of the project were to launch the digital offering through mobile apps and head in the direction of being a content first digital business in the health and wellness space. The initial goals were to test the traction, content & understand user patterns when it comes to digital health and wellness offering.
How did you select this vendor?
Doodleblue's selection came in a natural choice to prior work they have delivered, quality they delivered and also the vast pool of expertise across mobile application platforms.
Describe the project in detail.
The project started as any other IT project would start which includes research, discovery, strategy, features, roadmap and milestones in terms of deliverables. Once the plan was ready, team deployments and delivery cycles were freezed. Because of DB's style of executing a project by being agile and flexible, most of the times it was a smooth ride.
What was the team composition?
The team included a project manager, android devs, ios devs, backend devs, designers, QA testers.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The app was launched quite on time except for few hiccups with regards to app store policies. However post launch , we say a quite good traction in terms of downloads and engagement. Within 3 months of launch, we got 200K installs across android and ios stores.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The workflow was quite flexible seeing the every changing priorities. We followed a release cycle every week post launch and the team kept up updated with the progress throughout the week and any deviation which they foresee. DB's team was agile enough to accommodate last moment changes in requirements.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The best part about working with DB is 'will get it done' kind of attitude. They never said no to any particular last moment changes and were always ready to find the best solution to the problem given the time constraints and bandwidth limitation.
Also they were quite open to take the feedback and action upon them. Also saw a good involvement and supervision from their management in terms of timely checks on the progress and timelines.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Maybe something around the lines of being proactive and putting themselves in the shoes of a user of the product which they were building. With that approach I believe most of the issues/bugs/bottlenecks would have resolved in the first pass before an actual user pointing them. But apart from that, once they know a bug, they were quite fast to react to resolve that bug/issue.
