Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the co-owner and creative partner of Subsign, a full-service marketing agency.

For what projects/services did your company hire Dolfn?

Dolfn helped develop an iOS app for one of our clients.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to create a new UI design and improve the UX of our client’s social trip planner. We took over the project from another agency. They already had some code written, but it was poorly managed and had a less effective UX.

How did you select this vendor?

We chose them because of their level of professionalism and pricing.

Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?

Dolfn helped us structure the information from the client and were instrumental in the product development phase, providing excellent advice on the technology and process. Since the original code was badly written, they helped us rewrite parts of it and added new features such as transit information between trips and newsfeed items. Overall, they improved the app performance, responsiveness, and code quality.

What was the team composition?

We worked with four core members of their team. Based on specific needs, other people came in at different points of the product development, launch, and iterations.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Dolfn allowed us to focus on UI and UX design, which are our core business. They provided quality output and dealt with technical issues. Plus, their expertise allowed us to maximize the app’s potential on iOS.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Since we had the project overview, we were in constant communication with the end client and the team. Dolfn assigned a key representative who maintained contact with us and joined client calls. This setup was quite effective, allowing us to successfully meet our deadlines.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their proactive approach and professionalism definitely impressed us. We did have some crazy requirements, but they never said that something can’t be done. They always found a way. They have great customer service and a motivated team.

Are there any areas where they can improve?

I can’t think of anything to improve at this moment. We got what more than what we expected.
