I'm the Development Associate of an international organization that has a mission to safeguard and promote the dignity and rights of migrants, refugees, internally displaced people, and seafarers worldwide.
For what projects/services did your company hire Doinmedia, and what were your goals?
As an international umbrella organization, it is important to keep updated and innovative marketing information that helps us create social awareness of our work to protect the underserved populations. We hired the Doinmedia to elaborate an institutional video to show our areas of work and impact.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We met DOINMEDIA through a donor that made a video of the grantees they invested resources. My organization was one of the grantees.
While coordinating that video, we realized the high capacity, professionalism, and commitment of the DOINMEDIA team. We felt they were the type of company and people we needed to produce our materials.
Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.
We met with the team to share our main needs and interests. We liked how they embraced our idea and started to provide solutions and ideas to illustrate our main points and highlight the critical elements we wanted to focus on.
Several virtual meetings and in-person discussions helped generate comprehensive scriptwriting, animation format, and touching content and messages.
The process included video production, pictures, interviews, and visits to emblematic places to show the real aspects we wanted to communicate.
Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?
We worked with the project management, technical team, and content director. The feedback was extremely positive, always aligned with our needs, and focused on highlighting our interests and telling a history that can impact the audience.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We are still working on some final details of the project. However, at an internal level, we visualize the impact of this material, considering it an essential part of our Global Communication Strategy.
The video is part of a process that seeks to impact our audiences and reach more contributors from international cooperation agencies, prospective donors, and individuals.

We have used Gmail, Zoom, and in-person meetings at the communication level to coordinate all the processes. Timelines have met as expected.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They dedicated quality of time to every single detail, from the first approach to the construction of the idea and the minimum changes we wanted to add. They are very sensible and conscious human beings.
They made our project their project. Working with DOINMEDIA is like having been working with colleagues for a long time. We felt that they became an extension of our team, and it's because of their friendly, and professional approach that made our entire team feel comfortable with their work.
A key element for us is that people feel identified with our mission and make it their mission. Doinmedia did that and more.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
There is always room to enhance our work. However, in this case, they have developed an extraordinary job, and we don't ask for more.

Introduce your business and what you do there
I’m a marketing analyst at one of the most important business faculties at a leading university in Colombia.
What challenges were you trying to address with Doinmedia?
We’ve had several projects with Doinmedia; they’re our partner for everything related to AV materials.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Doinmedia’s work mostly involves video production. They have supported us with the creation of testimonial videos for our executive programs, as well as other promotional videos for our summer school programs, and photos for marketing materials.
What is the team composition?
We work with two people from Doinmedia.
How did you come to work with Doinmedia?
They were already working with the faculty before I started working so I honestly don’t know what the process for hiring them was.
How much have you invested in them?
Our recent project, which has been one of the most complex ones we’ve had, cost between $3,500–$5,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
They've been working for the university for at least four years and it’s a continuous collaboration.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The videos have been key for us considering the fast evolution of the digital market, and we know that we still need to exploit them even more. On a recent digital marketing campaign, we included one of the latest videos they’ve produced. We can definitely see its impact as it has been one of the best performing materials of our campaign.
How did Doinmedia perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicate mostly via email. If there’s anything that requires more time to discuss, we keep in touch through video or phone calls. Doinmedia's delivery times are great. Though we have a “bureaucratic process” when it comes to reviewing the videos inside the university, the team has been very flexible and able to meet all deadlines in a timely manner.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their availability and flexibility have been impressive. We continue having projects with them because we really like their work. Furthermore, Doinmedia knows everything related to our faculty and the specific needs we have on a visual level.
Are there any areas they could improve
Sometimes, we see a bit of friction when there is disagreement on the final products; they’re a bit reactive with negative feedback. We have managed to make that work but that’s something that they could work on.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the creative executive director of a creative agency.
What challenge were you trying to address with Doinmedia?
We were looking for someone to handle animation and motion graphics. We had a client who wanted to incorporate their own graphics into an animated video.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They created a proposal for us to share with the client. After getting the go-ahead, we worked together to produce three promotional videos. We helped guide the tone of the video in the early creative process, but let them handle the animation work. The client now uses these videos on their website and YouTube page.
What is the team composition?
We worked with two or three people from their team.
How did you come to work with Doinmedia?
We had met at a Colombian convention. We examined their work and felt that their videos showcased a high level of professionalism, so we were confident they’d be a good fit for the project.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent about €1,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from December 2019–April 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We didn’t use any hard metrics to track the success of this engagement, but we were satisfied because our client was really happy with their work. The quality of their videos was awesome, which was great for us in attracting new business. They were willing to add on to the scope of the project without charging an additional fee as well, which we really appreciated.
How did Doinmedia perform from a project management standpoint?
Everything went really well. We communicated closely, speaking at least once a week via email and WhatsApp.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The quality of their work, their price, and their approach really stood out. They’re a highly professional firm, but still manage to remain personable in interactions. They took the time to understand what we needed. I hope to work with them again.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t think they could have improved on anything for our project.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
You can trust them. Sometimes, it’s hard to work with companies that aren’t based in the same country as you, but Doinmedia remained accountable and delivered a high-quality service.
