Before launching the campaign, they conducted an initial website audit to identify any pitfalls and issues. Since our website was built on WordPress, they were able to offer valuable suggestions for adjustments to the site’s structure, content, and certain keywords. A colleague recommended them while we were in talks with another digital agency that was looking to push us into different advertising approaches. Upon reaching out, Direct Marketing Agency (DMA) made clear that they were more interested in an organic approach, since we’re already doing online advertising and content marketing. We also managed SEO in house but weren’t achieving the results we were looking for. We ended up choosing DMA, as we felt that their strategy best aligned with our goals.

We started by providing a list of keywords to target, and their team conducted research to find any additional keywords that could generate leads. They established a content and link building approach that would utilize content on our website and link back to it from relevant resources. They managed all aspects of this process including content generating, though we were able to review it before anything was posted. We had no issues with this at all.

We had a dedicated account manager that served as our point of contact, and he reviewed campaign results and metrics with us. Our content manager also had a dedicated point of contact that sent us content for review, but I wasn't directly involved in that process.

After DMA implemented their strategy, we achieved top organic results across four competitive keywords. We also had paid results listed in the ads sections. They also achieved page one results for every keyword on our list, with most near the top of the page. These outcomes have yielded a 16% increase in search traffic from Google with a secondary impact of a 30% increase in search traffic from other sources. This was a very optimal outcome for the campaign.

We were incredibly pleased with how organized and ahead-of-time they were with the project. The whole project lasted around 3 months from an ongoing work standpoint. Since then, we had them do some maintenance and considered doing more online advertising. The reports they sent gave us an idea of where we rank and how people find our business online.
