We’re an Israeli commercial broadcaster, with one of the main TV channels in the country. We broadcast news and entertainment shows. I’m part of the digital department. We have two websites, one for news and one for VODs and live streams.
What challenge were you trying to address with DINO - Tech Solutions?
We have our own tech department, but we had multiple products to launch and couldn’t handle all the work. DINO is one of the outsourced developers we’ve used.
What was the scope of their involvement?
One of the projects DINO has done for us was an online game for one of our shows. The main goal is for users to predict who will win a race on the show. There’s a feature for sharing the game on social media.
What is the team composition?
There were around four people from DINO on this project, and Yonatan (Head of Business Development) was our main contact. I also had a discussion with one of the developers.
How did you come to work with DINO - Tech Solutions?
I saw their work online and really liked what they were doing. I had a good connection with them. DINO was very collaborative and energetic, and they had a lot of good ideas for our projects, which are usually quick and out of the box.

What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with DINO around September 2020, and it’s ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
This specific project was one that we wanted to launch very fast, so one of the metrics was how quickly DINO could understand what we want and produce it. They had to work with our staff and with our designs, and they succeeded with that. Our audience likes the game, and they’re playing it.

We communicate mostly by email and phone.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re very collaborative, and they don’t get stuck on one solution. They try to understand what we need, and they’re enthusiastic about their work.

There could be something, but it also depends on us. I can’t think of anything in particular with regard to this project.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the VP of digital at Hop Media Group. I’m responsible for all digital assets, such as websites, applications, and social channels. We’re the largest media company for preschool children in Israel. We have four linear channels, each one with its own assets.
What challenge were you trying to address with DINO Tech Solutions?
They were brought in to develop one of our websites.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The site uses WebGL and HTML5. It has a parental control feature, so kids can’t leave a specific part of the website unless their parents allow it. The controls have another feature that can block kids after a period of time set by the parents.
The site has a video player, and all the games are iframe, so they’re not hosted on the website. We have articles, a blog, and picture galleries, both uploaded by us and by users, for contests.
The backend allows us to run the website. We change it daily, almost hourly. They developed a strong backend system that is easy for us to access.
What is the team composition?
We had a project manager, a tech project manager—who was the senior developer that built the backend, and a frontend developer. There was also a freelance designer that they worked with.
How did you come to work with DINO Tech Solutions?
During the proposal process, they gave us a presentation that showed their vision of our new website. A lot of companies competed for the project, but their pitch was the best one, both in terms of vision and the features they offered.
How much have you invested with them?
The main project cost $75,000. We’ve done other work since then, so the cost has increased slightly.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with DINO in March 2018. We launched the beta version of the site in December of that year, and we officially launched the site in January 2019. DINO is continuing to provide us development services.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The designer they provided created our new branding book. All our graphics are thanks to them.
We started working with Trello thanks to them. We wanted something to run all the assignments, and they recommended Trello. It’s become a part of our company, and everyone uses it now.
We had a rough start, but it was because of the server company, not DINO. Most of the feedback we’ve gotten has been positive. The negative comments are mostly about the content, not the website.
We’re still working with them. We’re launching another website, and they’re supporting all our assets. They took over someone else’s products, and are now running them. They also built us another WordPress website.
How did DINO Tech Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?
Project management is the only area for improvement. In their defense, it was a very stressful time and we had a lot of internal issues. We were initially supposed to go live in early-December instead of January, because of Hanukah and Christmas. We were delayed because of all of the issues, but it wasn’t that bad. We were just set back a few weeks.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The level of service they provide is impressive. They have two headquarters in Canada and Israel. There is someone from the company available almost 24/7. Their ability to adjust to the client’s needs made them stand out. DINO also made excellent suggestions that led us in the right direction.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Except for the initial deadline issues, which were affected by other circumstances, we had a very good experience.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
Clients should make sure they work according to the dates they set in the beginning.

We needed an interactive mobile-first landing page developed to assist us with a large marketing campaign. Since our company specialises in mobile development, we outsourced the web development portion as well as the content management system to Dino-tech solutions.

We needed the project completed with an extremely close deadline - and since the client was a large international corporation - a top-quality was key. For this project - we needed a well designed and interactive website (mobile-first).

The required web page allowed consumers to pick 1 of 4 soccer boots as a background, to which they uploaded a picture and a signature (the campaign revolved around fans signing a declaration of fair and fearless play). The users were then given an option to download and share the image with friends on a social media network.

Dino assigned us a project lead and a web developer.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
The feedback we received from our client was highly positive. They were impressed by the idea, the execution, and finally - the impact it had on their campaign. This allowed us to expand our marketing activity with them, awarding us more campaigns with the client.

Dino's project management was professional from the get-go. Working with them was an absolute pleasure, as all of our requests were dealt with immediately, and as mentioned before, all was done with an extremely short deadline, and a highly demanding client.

They built a WordPress site, which mainly served as a content platform for our client to tell the story of its customer service. It’s a blog for the CEO and head of customer service to give details about their efforts and to review customer service around the world.

The customer is satisfied, though they’re not aware of DINO’s involvement. Nevertheless, the project was very successful as they held their end and did a very good job. Whenever I asked them to change or fix something, they did so immediately. I’m happy to recommend them.

We use our internal project management tool for all the work, covering the timelines and finances that needs to be done on our side. They’re a small company, so we had easy access to everyone, which was crucial during tight deadlines. They were available through email and chat, which meant we could solve things much quicker.

Their sense of ownership for the work is impressive. We felt that they were a part of our team, which was crucial to getting a high-level delivery. They work fast, the quality is great, they’re responsive, and they’re not so pricy, given the level of service we’re receiving.

Our project consisted of building a customizable video platform. The software needed to grant viewers the ability to augment audio via text commands. We utilized a voice-to-speech application to make this possible but still required an external firm to link the technologies together on a stable website. DINO - Tech Solutions created the site’s frontend interface and backend infrastructure. This system enables users to enter text that’s then filtered through the voice-to-speech application. The resulting voice is run through sound effects, mixed back into the video, and integrated with the existing audio. The final product allows users to customize existing videos by typing directives.

I’m an account manager for a digital advertising agency that works with suppliers.
What challenge were you trying to address with DINO?
The first project I did with them was a quick minisite for one of our customers. We approached them because we didn’t have web developers within our own company.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Aside from the first minisite, we’ve also done two other minisites and one big project concerning a development operation that generates other minisites for a client. I have an in-house designer, so they only handle the development.
All of the websites have been for our clients. One was for a construction company to showcase all of their projects. Another was for a company that sells different kinds of gluten-free food, and the website has a catalog of all their products and accompanying nutrients. DINO also made multiple minisites for a company that sells ski vacations, as well as multiple minisites for various vacations sites.
What is the team composition?
I work with two frontend programmers, but I know they have more workers. My clients sometimes work with DINO directly on selected tasks (e.g., if we need to connect to a CRM operation).
How did you come to work with DINO?
My company worked with DINO before I started. Many colleagues recommended them. We continue to choose them because of their reliability and honest pricing.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working with them since early January 2016. I speak to them 2–3 times per week because we always have a project for them.

One of the minisite projects has an average of 8% efficiency (i.e., 8% of people who visit the website leave their details). This is a high rate for digital marketing. The client has been able to convert these into leads, and they’re very happy. They’re pleased with both the design and the website itself. Everything is very accurate.
How did DINO perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re excellent. They’re always available, and the clients and I are both very happy with their performance. The projects are always kept up to date and working great.

They’re very friendly and patient with people who aren’t tech-savvy.

I don’t have anything negative to say. If I did, I wouldn’t hire them again.
