We wanted to build a full set of clickable prototypes on both web and mobile for a user facing platform and backend business facing platform to prototype a new idea.

We shared project requirements for various phases of the project ahead of time and reviewed together to ensure shared understanding and acceptance of the requirements. The delivered always on time and engaged throughout their design process and requested further clarification whenever needed to prevent any blockers to completion.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I found their understanding of the project to be surprising as I was expecting we'd have to be highly prescriptive with requirements at first but we found they would often have positive insights into some design choices that we were taking for granted or even overlooking. They really cared about the final product, which was highly encouraging to us.

No we were highly satisfied with the professionalism and results we received from Digitbloom.

I’m the founder and owner of a web and software development company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Digitbloom?

We needed help with digital design services.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Digitbloom provided us with digital design services on several occasions, including UI/UX design mock-ups, website design, and landing page design. Most of the deliverables were provided through Figma. 

We had them help us develop a product that helps users conduct asynchronous interviews. We gave them a number of product requirements, and they helped us develop a process flow for the software and visualize what the product could look like in its first version. 

Additionally, we needed help building an MVP, and Digitbloom helped us envision what the product could look like. They also helped us troubleshoot the user flow and identify potential pain points and areas that weren't clear for how the user would engage with the platform.

Digitbloom also did prototyping for us. They created clickable prototypes within Figma. The team helped with the tactical implementation of the project. 

What is the team composition?

I largely worked with Anna, the owner. Although other employees were involved in the different deliverables, I communicated directly with Anna.

How did you come to work with Digitbloom?

We found them on Upwork. We had an excellent experience with Anna early on. We saw that she had excellent work and a refined and sophisticated portfolio, so we started with a small project. She did such an excellent job that we kept going back.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent less than $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from February 2022–January 2024. We don’t have any ongoing engagements, but we rely on Anna from time to time on a consulting basis. If we work with other designers or have something that needs design input, we reach out to her.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Anna was proficient in using Figma, and we probably saved time across the project because of her ability to implement changes quickly based on feedback. She’s one of the top designers we’ve worked with out of 5–10 over the last two years. She was able to quickly understand what we wanted. 

How did Digitbloom perform from a project management standpoint?

They were quick to iterate changes and kept the lines of communication open throughout the project. They were also very responsive, so overall, they did an excellent job from a project management standpoint. We communicated using Figma, a chat messenger, Upwork, and email. 

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

Anna was an excellent designer and partner to work with. She always did excellent work and was an effective communicator. She was quick to respond to feedback and kept open lines of communication. We strongly recommend her and her team for future projects.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Digitbloom did an excellent job overall; from end to end, the team delivered on the expectations of the project scope. When we gave Anna a reference, she understood the design elements that could be pulled without copying a design verbatim. She could emulate the pertinent design elements.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Communication could be a barrier when managing different cultural competencies, but that’s true of anyone.

If you’re looking for a digital designer, look no further. Anna and her team are excellent, and we’re confident that others will have an equally excellent experience. Areas for Improvement: Overall, Digitbloom performed exceptionally well. If anything, slightly faster responses to minor feedback could have further streamlined the process, but this did not impact the quality of their excellent work.
