I'm the owner and the managing director of Headseast, Ltd. We are a travel company that organizes Trans-Siberian and China trips.

We wanted to increase our Google ranking with SEO.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They provided a suite of SEO services as well as a bit of PR, link-building, and technical assistance to maximize our rank. This included keyword research optimization, link-building through blog articles, design, and page speed. They’ve done some content creation, but we do most of it in-house.

My main points of contact are Laurence (Sales Director, Digital Search Group Ltd) and Joe (Founder & CEO, Digital Search Group Ltd), but I’ve also worked with someone on the technical side.

I can’t remember exactly how we found them, but it was probably through an online search.

We spend about £2,500 (approximately $3,300 USD) per month.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in 2012 and our relationship is still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’ve seen good results from them. We rank particularly well for Trans-Siberian travel. There’s been an increase in traffic every year since we started working together. They understand our business because of our long-standing relationship. 

How did Digital Search Group Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?

They are good at staying on track for deadlines and they’re flexible with their schedules. If we need urgent assistance, they’re able to respond quickly and get the issue fixed. They’re able to understand what we want and work independently which is helpful for our in-house team. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’ve maintained an interest in our work and fostered a strong relationship with us over time. It doesn’t feel like they’ve let us fall by the wayside because we’ve worked with them for a while. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think so, what they’re doing works well for us. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers? 

Talking to them over the phone rather than via email is especially beneficial. If you communicate your deliverables at the outset, you’ll be satisfied with the results.

I am the managing director of the Beautiful Company Ltd., an online retailer of jewelry—mainly wedding rings and engagement rings.

What challenge were you trying to address with Digital Search Group?

In 2012, our Google rankings fell due to their SEO changes. We hired Digital Search Group to help us regain our rank.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They provided two main services: cleaning up of bad links to our site and implementing SEO best practices. First, they analyzed our site and created an improved disavow list. Second, their team made subtle changes to our key terms to align our content to Google algorithms. Currently, they are creating accredited links to improve our backlink profile.

What is the team composition?

We work mainly with their CEO, but they do have a team in the background.

How did you come to work with Digital Search Group?

They made a sales call to us, and we were very skeptical at first. However, their pitch made me think he was worth a try. We communicated over many stages to build trust, and they’ve proven themselves to be knowledgeable.

We invested $20,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started the engagement February 2017 and it is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Their SEO implementation allowed our site appear on page 1–2 of Google for several major key terms. They’ve increased our profitability by 35%. In terms of overall results, it’s been going well.

How did Digital Search Group perform from a project management standpoint?

Initially, we were communicating daily with phone and email. We are now communicating on a month-to-month basis because our project’s scope has diminished. We can tell Digital Search is very busy with other clients, but they are still very responsive and communicate well. Their team also sends us in-depth reports to update us on the project.

What did you find most impressive about them?

There's a lot of people in this industry that talk big about their expertise in SEO but cannot deliver results. In comparison, Digital Search delivers on their promises while also proving themselves to be incredibly knowledgeable in their field.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Their link development is very expensive, and we have yet to see results, but it’s too early to determine. Otherwise, I don’t see anything.

Follow their advice, they are experts. Give them a go, but don’t rush the project.

We were looking to improve our digital marketing infrastructure, SEO, digital marketing, link building and others.

DSG did a full review of all our processes and infrastructure and compiled a massive and indepth report regarding where we could make improvements. DSG help us build links and improve our keyword optimisation.

Incredible, since working with DSG we have doubled the amount of leads we receive on average and have expanded our global reach.

Easy to work with, we do some tasks with their advice and they do some work on our behalf.

Knowledge, everyone is very knowledgable, they know the digital marketing space extremely well.

We are an online retailer of flower bouquets and gifts serving many countries. We do more than half of our business through the Web and the rest is through a floral network. Digital marketing is essential to our business.

For what projects/services did your company hire Digital Search Group Ltd.?

Digital search have been providing me SEO and Digital Marketing services for over six months. They have helped us to tidy up our website and undo the work of previous SEO companies who had essentially hurt our SEO search rankings not helped us. Digital Search turned this around and after 4 months we our revenues literally started to double.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goals were to improve our position in Google search through natural and non-spammy means in order to increase turnover and profits.

How did you select this vendor?

Digital search was recommended to me by colleagues in our industry.

Describe the project in detail.

Firstly we were asked many details about our business. There were many forms and surveys to complete. After they had a thorough understanding of our business they started to work on a proposal.

I submitted and accepted the proposal. We then started working on completely rewording most of the text on our website. We changed the overall structure of our website, removed and replaced much of the content. We looked at other websites who were already linking to us and made changes to clean up our backlink profile.

We worked directly with a project manager and we were frequently referred to the CEO. We have a good relationship with both,

Our turnover from online sales has doubled. We are very happy.

It has always been easy to work with Digital Search. We have worked using Google Docs, Email and Skype. They have always been attentive to inquiries.

They really listed to our needs. They didnt just promise a position in Google search they listed to us to make our company more profitable!
