Diarmuid gave us a brief review of what else we should be looking at, and step by step, he took care of little jobs for us. Eventually, we moved the entire website over to their care. He also advises us on the next steps we should take.

Diarmuid works super fast and if we ask him about something, he will advise us and be completely honest if it’s something we really need to do or if it can wait until later. This has been really important to us. Overall, we’re happy with Digital Sales’ work.

Although we didn’t start the project with Digital Sales, they came in as a savior at the end. They slowly helped us get our website up to the standard we needed. They always complete tasks within the agreed-upon timeframes. If there are any delays, Diarmuid is upfront about it and provides updates every step of the way.

Diarmuid is an honest and nice guy, which is very helpful. We have the same vibe and it’s easy to work with him. I think he likes working with us as well.

We're very happy with the outcomes and the service they provided. We like the look and feel of the site and the content we have. They set up our e-commerce shop using Magento. They’re helping us present our brand using videos and blogs. They also help with SEO and identifying keywords that need to be on our pages.

I primarily deal with Diarmuid (Sales and Business Development Director, Digital Sales). I know he works with one other person to put it all together. 

How did you come to work with Digital Sales? 

I’ve known Diarmuid for years before we ran into each other at a business function. I told him I wanted to build a website and he gave me a rough outline of an offer. We spoke again later to go through his plan in more detail. I was nervous but he convinced me they could fix any problem.

I'm not exactly sure of the dates but the main scope took place about six months ago. I'm signing up with them on an ongoing basis to hopefully do more work.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Digital Sales came up with great ideas. The logo is so good that we use it on everything, including our letterhead and invoices. I haven't been tracking website metrics but I'm happy with their work. 

People don't understand structural insulated panels, so the main goal of the site is really to get the information out. The new site has been doing a good job. I ask anyone who calls if they looked at the site. Customers say that it’s informative and it makes sense. 

How did Digital Sales perform from a project management standpoint? 

Digital Sales insisted that they knew the way to go. I'm a bit stubborn but they were able to change my mind. The whole process went fairly smoothly and was pretty pleasant. I have no complaints. When there was a problem or I needed something done, they handled it quickly. They were much better than we were in terms of following our timeline and meeting deadlines. They were chasing me rather than the other way around. 

My calls and emails were always answered, so there was overall good communication. I don't know what technology they used for most of the site, and I don’t want to know. I just care that it works and it looks good. They’re able to speak technical jargon but could put it in plain English for me and make it simple. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Digital Sales actually cares about my business and works hard to get us more hits. They went above and beyond to get our name out there. They spent a lot of time listening to what we wanted and learning about our business. It's quite specialized but they even did their own research on the industry. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I don't think so. They led us through the whole process step by step. They started with the basic infrastructure of the site and then got down to the specific details, making sure to get our buy-in all along the way.

I was initially skeptical but they were right about everything. So definitely hire them on and listen to them.

In addition, they have helped with SEO and they still provide some backup work for the things I am unable to do on the website. They even set up a YouTube channel for us and links to videos that we put up.

I just work with one person.

We created and sent out a tender package. A lot of it was based on price, and Digital Sales provided the most value for our money, which was very important. I also knew someone who had worked with them before, and we knew that they were reputable.

We worked together from October 2018–March 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The biggest result has been a dramatic increase in rent-paying. A lot more of our tenants are paying online now, which is brilliant for us.

We are very happy with the website and it does everything we want it to do.

They performed better than I did. Our contact person knew what we wanted. They were very on the ball and were always in touch. We remain really happy with them.

We primarily communicated through phone, email, and in-person when our main contact would pop into the office. Once a major update had been made, he would also come in because he physically wanted to show me how to use it.

Not really. They knew what would catch people’s attention and we are really happy with our end product.

We are an architecture and interior design company in Ireland that has been in business for over 30 years. I’m the managing director and owner.

What challenge were you trying to address with Digital Sales?

Our goal was to increase our profiles now that the recession has ended. Our side of the business has picked up greatly and I wanted to aim towards the higher span clients and needed to update my website to show that.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Well, first of all, I’m an architect and my wife is a designer, so we don’t really get into web design. We’re hands-on, and like to be first on the scene, but when it comes to upgrading a website, I needed someone that understood it perfectly and could do the work for me.

The website profiles the areas we specialize in, such as hotels, offices, etc. Another big update was to start taking credit cards and bank transfers, which we hadn’t been doing before. Once the website was built, they also ran a lot of SEO and social media marketing for us. Basically, we told them, anything related to starting a website, do—and they did.

What is the team composition?

We just had one person who would come to my office and sit down with me, which was really great. He came in, brought their technology with him, and would just sit down and show me all the optimizations and keywords and things that they had been working on, which for me was really great.

How did you come to work with Digital Sales?

I was invited to a meeting of councilors and politicians in our town hall. They were giving an opportunity to meet various web designers and work with them to upgrade their websites and start taking different kinds of payments. 

I met a number of people through that event and had quotations from a few of them, but I just got along with Digital Sales. I liked what he was doing and saying, checked into his background and work and everything, and decided this was the guy for me.

We invested about €6,000 (approximately $6,700).

We worked from January–May 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve definitely seen an increase in inquiries both digitally and on the phone. I wouldn’t take on all of the calls we get, but it is nice to be able to filter through more inquiries and pick up the ones that we really want to work with.

I know the way I have to manage my jobs and could tell that the guy was giving me 110%. They did all the work, which took so much stress from me while allowing me to actually see it being built and all the changes they were making. I was confident that they knew what they were doing, so I was very happy to just let them do their work.

It’s not like I have a lot of experience with digital companies, but I think I have a good instinct for trustworthiness in business partners and being able to relax and trust Digital Sales was a really big plus.
