Missy Empire
Missy Empire is a large women's fast fashion retailer with a huge online presence. DMT and Missy Empire began working together in 2021, initially focusing on paid social and PPC.
The initial results have been fantastic - DMT have increased ROAS by 12%, increased PPC conversions by 55%, increased revenue by 74% and scaled up spend by 55%.

LSH Auto/Mercedes-Benz
We worked with LSH Auto/Mercedes-Benz, helping them to improve their social media presence. In addition to improving the on-page content, the client also wished to increase inbound enquiries, increase footfall to the sites, generate test drives and, ultimately, sell cars.
We generated an average of 160 leads per branch per month with a 40% conversion rate.

Musclefood
We provide paid social services for MuscleFood - an online fitness food delivery retailer. Our team has helped scale their account to around £300k spend per month across Facebook & Instagram.

PPC and Paid Social for a high protein food company
We have worked with Eatlean Foods since 2018, helping them market to a competitive market.
After introducing Eatlean to social advertising and overcoming the initial hurdle of convincing consumers to purchase cheese online, we’ve managed to hit a ROAS of 6 and are continually changing people’s perspective of buying cheese from a brand website. Since taking over the account we have increased purchases by 354%, increased reach by 82% and dropped CPM by 77%.
Our relationship keeps growing stronger, and we're excited for what the future brings.

The Couture Club - PPC & Paid Social
Within just a couple of months the client’s advertising accounts were outperforming their previous results. We had soon grown them to be hitting an average ROAS of £35, this was a 66% increase in return on investment and a 50% increase in revenue. To summarise: – Doubled weekly transactions – Increased ROAS by 98% – Decreased cost per purchase by 58% – Sales increased by 102% – Decreased CPMs 34%. For PPC: Cost (+48%), Conversions (+297%), Revenue (+251%), ROAS (+137%).
We took a very basic account set-up to the next level. To achieve the revenue increase YoY we pushed a high proportion of budget into Google’s Shopping platform whilst making unprofitable search campaigns a thing of the past. Additional Display activity was introduced through Google’s Smart Shopping platform to retarget previous visitors and capitalise on the additional touch points required to complete the customer journey.

Lavish Alice - Paid Social + PPC
Our initial Black Friday campaign with the client was a huge success. By optimising the campaigns correctly, we managed to increase efficiency whilst also experimenting with new strategies. The results were fantastic: – Scaled budgets by 1500% – Increased ROAS by 27% – Introduced the brand into 5 different territories and smashed it – Increased transactions by 1323% – 2000% increase in sessions

Boot Buddy - Paid Social, PPC, Email Marketing
We have been working for Dragons Den winner Boot Buddy for around a year now, offering paid social, PPC and email marketing to an international audience.
The initial results for Boot Buddy have been strong despite the tough circumstances. After a few months of service, with the end of lockdown on the horizon, we have generated an average ROAS of 4.87 on Google and 3.78 on paid social.

Shopify Build For Trampoline Park
Our web development team built a new Shopify store for client Fun Arena using Webflow.
The project was completed in a timely manner and the client has seen fantastic results from paid advertising since the new site has been launched, generating over £98k in revenue during the first full month of the new site usage.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the Director of an women's eCommerce cosmetics brand. We sell a range of products included false eyelashes, makeup sponges, makeup brushes etc.
For what projects/services did your company hire Digital Media Team, and what were your goals?
We were looking for an agency to help us expand our digital advertising efforts due to our rapid growth which meant I no longer had the time to manage social media ads whilst running the business. We also needed an agency to provide Google Ads and Email Marketing as it wasn't something we were doing at the time.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We searched on Google and come across DMT with their impressive client list and results. After speaking to them we decided to sign up.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and marking tools used.
We went through an onboarding process and then some rounds of signing off content for all services.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked with an Account Manager (who we're not even sure who they are anymore). a PPC Exec, Email exec and a senior social media ads person.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Google ads performance is good, emails is okay but recurring issues. Social Ads results are poor.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Acceptable
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The company provides almost every service, this may or may not be a positive depending on what you're after. I wouldn't say they're specialists in anything, but if you want a company that does everything okay, they're probably acceptable.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Quite a few - The first would be not having auto-renewing contracts that are 12 months long. I'm from an agency background and I've always found agencies that usually have these terms are ones that can't usually back up their claims with results.
Communication is poor sometimes as well - for example our account manager went on holiday (which is completely fine) but we received no notice about this so when the below issue with the facebook ads happened it seemed we were just being passed around by everyone. This is sort of still ongoing as I don't have any who our current Account Manager is, considering the premium price point of this agency I think this could be much better.
Next would be social ads performance, their results were extremely poor at a ROAS of 0.89 with £2k spend despite being managed by one of their supposedly expert team. For comparison, we were running the ads ourselves with no prior eCommerce facebook ad experience and were achieving 2+ ROAS at a higher level of spend.
Harley who is part of their business development team then attempted to justify this poor performance by "You guys have only been live for 7 days and not given us a chance to optimise anything before turning the ads off." which is complete and utter agency nonsense. As you can tell from initial metrics whether a campaign is going to do any better and a negative ROAS from the offset is shocking. DMT then agreed to terminate this aspect of the contract due to the poor performance.
Email marketing - This unfortunately is another service we have had a negative experience with. There has been 2 emails which were failed to be scheduled to be sent during our Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale which is potentially a substantial amount of revenue lost. We then reported this to Ben who provided some compensation for this and we were assured that this hasn't happened before and wouldn't happen again.
It is now 18/12/2022 and an email was sent out informing about the last day to order for Christmas despite us saying to not send it out due to all of the delays there are with shipping companies. It really appears with emails it doesn't really matter what you say, DMT will just do whatever they want regardless!
This has left us in an extremely difficult position now as we have now had to add DPD back on to our website as a courier to facilitate any orders received from this email being sent out even though they're having delays as well which is going to increase our customer service workload.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the owner of a brand centered around selling authentic Chai. We are an omnichannel business, with retail locations as well as an ecommerce channel.
For what projects/services did your company hire Digital Media Team, and what were your goals?
We were launching an e-commerce store at the end of 2020 with a new lineup of products. We wanted to hit the ground running and acquire new customers. It was just at the beginning of the holiday season so this was an ideal time
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We were recommended DMT by someone in industry. The deciding factors for us were mainly based on our product and if it would be appealing to customers who had not been exposed to our brand. DMT had to understand the brand narrative so their managed ads could push our product well.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and marking tools used.
It ultimately involved us sending content such as photos and videos for DMT to repurpose and make into viable ads. Copy was also produced by them, which we had to adjust to ensure the right tone was captured about our product.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Account Manager, content creator, Paid Search manager, Paid Social manager.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The result was positive as one of the key metrics exceeded expectations. We now have a matured ecommerce business and DMT still manage our ads till this day.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Regular in-person meetings, followed by a few ad-hoc whenever needed. Generally effective.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Aside from managing our ads, they also help with creating content, which has made things a lot easier for us. Communication was also good.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Always areas for improvement, but overall happy. Perhaps being more creative during the slower season, with alternative marketing methods to supplement the online ad campaign.

Project summary
Digital Media Team heads the social media marketing campaign for a tea business. The project involves using creative assets and media to promote the business and target potential customers.
Feedback summary
The business owners find Digital Media Team needing improvement on the aspects of communication and on-boarding. The team also needs a more strategic approach when it comes to content collaboration. Overall, the workflow was decent and the goal of increasing the business's online sales was achieved.
BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I am Co-founder/CEO of a tea business. We serve London's finest authentic Chai at our physical locations and have an online business that allows customers to purchase blends to create Chai at home.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire Digital Media Team?
DMT helped us get the word out about our brew-at-home products that customers could purchase via our website.
What were your goals for this project?
To increase our online sales by 5-10 times what they were within the first three month of working with DMT. We hit those targets.
SOLUTION
How did you select Digital Media Team?
Combination of searching online and a recommendation from a friend at another company who had a good experience working with DMT.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
They basically used our creative assets (videos, photos, brand book) to create targeted ad content for potential customers.
What was the team composition?
I work directly with them on making sure the ad copy and ads themselves represented us in the best way. They also worked with our in-house designer to make sure the ads looked great.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our online sales jumped massively since working with DMT.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Decent. The on-boarding was not as smooth or clear as I would have liked. Communication about ad spend totals - which is very important - was mishandled. Overall, getting ideas and new campaigns across so Digital Media Team can implement has been smooth.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Nice people who answer the phone and work with you to solve problems.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Help with giving specific advice on content that they think would be good for us. Basically I wish there was a more strategic approach to working with us on content.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the Head of Marketing for LullaBellz, the market leader in synthetic hair extensions and associated hair products.
For what projects/services did your company hire Digital Media Team?
We were struggling to increase our return on ad spend across social media platforms. We also needed support to utilise the creative assets we had for the relevant platforms, in order to expose new and existing audiences to the 'instant transformations' our products provide.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Having previously worked with DMT within a previous role, I knew they were experts in their field and knew how to get results. They are also familiar with the fast paced nature of our sector.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
Initially we had a kick off meeting, to introduce us to the wider DMT team of designers, execs, copywriters etc. Following on from this, DMT commenced an audit of our ad account and set about setting up a Data Studio to help us see the improvements and results real time. We now have contact from the DMT team daily via emails or promo submissions, as well as weekly/bi-weekly video call catch ups and wider strategy sessions when required.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We work with directors, account managers, senior social consultants, graphic designers and copywriters.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
ROAS increased 253% in month 1, vs management in-house. Although there are constant challenges with the platform (IOS etc) we've continued to see a significant increase in results since DMT took over the account, making it a more profitable channel for us as a business.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We catch up regularly, often on video calls and emails.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
We were impressed with the DMT team's creativity and digitally-minded, ROAS-focused skillset. Imagery and video sells our product and DMT ensures this looks great, whilst targeting audiences who work for us.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
As a fast paced business, we're sometimes a bit last minute with changes of plans. Usually DMT respond pretty well with that, even though we're aware they like to be planned well in advance (as do we, ideally!)

Social Media Marketing for Telecommunications Company
"Tell them your ideas — they’re great at thinking outside the box."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the operations and outreach manager for a telecommunications company. We’ve been established for around seven years.
What challenge were you trying to address with Digital Media Team?
We needed help to reach the right demographic on social media advertising.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Digital Media Team is helping a telecommunications company reach their target audience. They’ve built social media ads and are currently managing the ongoing strategy.
What is the team composition?
We work with five people. We have a manager, someone on the strategic side, one copywriter, an account handler, and someone from the graphics team.
How did you come to work with Digital Media Team?
They popped up in my feed. They were a Manchester company, and I’d seen some of the brands that they worked with, so I approached them. It was nice because they’ve worked with some great names, but they were really down-to-earth and approachable. I could speak to them on a personal level.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together around April and went live in May 2021. Since we’ve been able to take away creative assets and reuse them, we don’t have anything going on at the moment. However, we’re still running the ads, so they’re still available for us.
Moreover, we’ll definitely go back and use them for more projects.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
So far, we’ve had 15–20 successful leads from the ad we ran, and they’re continuing to come in. Overall, Facebook had worked really well to bring us results.
How did Digital Media Team perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re great. They monitor our money spend and suggest demographic changes. If we need assets to do our own thing, they produce them. Their team hasn’t left me; they’re still in the background.
We usually communicate either by phone or email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The personalities in the team and the fact that they listen to you on a bespoke level make them stand out. They’ve got the skills, but they also have a personal approach, which is excellent.
Moreover, they never say that they can’t do what we need because there’s a fee attached. Their team always does what they can within budget.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, it’s very difficult to name anything they could’ve done differently.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Talk to them. Don’t be afraid to tell them what you need to get out of the project. Digital Media Team will guide you and come up with suggestions that you might not even have thought about. It doesn’t matter how small they are; tell them your ideas — they’re great at thinking outside the box.

For what projects/services did your company hire Digital Media Team?
Hired Digital Media Team to help launch the digital media strategy for a multi million pound business that we had acquired a couple of months previously. We needed their expertise to help launch the brand during peak and ensure we maximised our sales opportunities and captured new customers.
