I am the VP of a b2b office technology company that specializes in copiers, printers, large format systems and interactive touch panel displays. I manage the sales, marketing and operations teams as well a plan our strategic initiatives and projects.
For what projects/services did your company hire Digital Marketing On-Ramp?
Our biggest challenge as a company was having an online presence that worked for us. We tried numerous companies who promised big results and none of them produced measurable results.
We did nothing for a period of time and then around October 2019 our executive team discussed bringing in Digital Marketing On-Ramp to help with our website design but more importantly our SEO, Google Analytics, creating and updating product line pages and our local search engine visibility.
What were your goals for this project?
Our goal was to be better reachable by potential clients and to have an updated website that was easy to find based on industry keywords. We needed a good inbound lead generation program that would align with the work our outside sales reps were already doing.
How did you select Digital Marketing On-Ramp?
We liked the expertise that DMOR showed and the knowledge they brought to the table. It was evident that they knew what our goals were and we could release the reins and let them work.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
After we selected Digital Marketing On-Ramp we had a series of meetings to discuss strategy, which they already had a good idea of the direction we were wanting to go, and we laid out the design of the website and the different pages we needed.
We also discussed our social media strategy to decide when and how often to create and post content. From there we released them to create our vision and we held various meetings at various stages to make any changes and discuss the items done and items to come.
What was the team composition?
We worked closely with the president of Digital Marketing On-Ramp who worked closely with our executive team to create the vision we were looking for.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We are a little over 1 year in with them and for year 1 (2020) which technically was not a full year due to rolling out the new website etc, we increased our revenues directly related to inbound marketing by $100,000.00.
Once we were finished calculating 2020's figures, 2021 with just being in 2 months has added another $70,000.00 of revenue. We are on track to surpass the 100,000.00 we increased last year by the second quarter, all during a pandemic. I estimate that we will see around 250K - 300K or higher in additional b2b business this year.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The workflow was great however we wanted to completely turn the project over to them with updates periodically on what was going on. We did not ask for constant communication from them.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The level of expertise was extremely impressive. We started out just thinking we needed some website updating but after consulting with us and advising us on what we needed to do it was clear that DMOR is a very knowledgeable firm that can handle the needs of our fast paced and ever changing industry.
