I am the managing director of a UK-based Ecommerce development company with offices in Manchester, London, Bristol and Leeds with over 20 years experience in the industry.

Digital Marketing (Various). We specialise in Ecommerce development and use our strong links and partnerships to fulfil other services that will compliment our development work and help our clients when they go to market.

The goals of our partnership with Digital Ethos was to find a partner that we could rely on to be transparent, offer the best solution tailored to our clients needs and be very efficient when it comes to communication.

We have worked with many agencies over the years and for various reasons it has never worked out. We focused on the following areas when it came to selecting Digital Ethos -Reviewing case studies across a wide range of verticals and the results -Spoke to some of their clients for feedback -Analysed their approach to proposals and recommendations

Because we refer work to them the range of work they do for our clients is not the same and covers quite a wide range of digital marketing services. Some example below are: -Digital Strategy -Content Marketing -Social Media Marketing -SEO & PPC -Display Advertising

What was the team composition?

Again because we refer work to them the range of work they do for our clients is not the same for everyone so depending on the type of work agreed we would engage with the relevant person responsible with Digital Ethos for heading up that area. We always found all team members to be knowledgeable, proactive and responsive which is the most important aspect for us.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

As part of our partnership we always look to get feedback from our clients and to date the feedback has been excellent. Digital Ethos have a great process of understand our clients needs every step of the way so if something is not working the communication is spot on to get around a table discuss results, possible changes and next steps to adapt to changes in the market as well as google!

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective we both use various tools for communication across Email, Basecamp and Freshdesk to make life easy for every one involved and ensure a very collaborative approach.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They have a very consistent approach to how they work and no matter who you speak to across any area of their business and no matter what type of marketing services they are providing they are honest, thorough and very knowledgeable which is what you want when it comes to Digital Marketing services.

Are there any areas for improvement?

At present no.

Given the launch of our new product, we needed a new platform to advertise its capabilities whilst at the same time relaunching our new brand and enhancing our very old website that needed to be refreshed.

What were your goals for this project?

Our main objective was to create a marketing platform for our new product www.gotorisk.com and replace our historical website so that our new services are clearly portrayed via www.i2-global.com.

How did you select this vendor?

We met Digital Ethos at an Expo and really liked what they had to offer, and knowing a previous Client of theirs made the decision easy. They had a fresh approach to showing what was needed to improve our current website and what was possible with the launch of the new product.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

The project was to create 2 sites, one for the product and a rewrite of an existing site. The team helped to support the design and delivery of both of these in a quick and timely fashion, whilst supporting on the format and consistency of both sites.

What was the team composition?

We had a dedicated designer with us which was great, this really helped the process as we had a singular contact to manage the process with and they knew exactly what to ask for to get the best from the sites.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The rewrite and creation of the sites has enabled a whole new marketing campaign to be initiated, this has allowed for us to attend expos and other events with confidence that we are showing our services off at the best

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We used Basecamp for this so that all of the discussions and agreed formats was clear and concise, this also enabled the teams to reference the details again if there had been any queries.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The speed and efficiency of the process to get both sites up and running in short order.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Not really, things had been very effective and we are looking for a new site to be designed now.

Billington Holdings Plc is a UK-based Group of companies focused on its structural steel & engineering activities throughout the UK and European markets. I am the Marketing Executive for the Group and was responsible throughout the entire project with Digital Ethos.

We wanted all 7 sites to be redeveloped into a new framework using WordPress. We also wanted an agency that could provide both digital and design services for our major projects. Currently looking into developing our SEO and Digital initiatives.

What were your goals for this project?

Our primary goal was to have 7 websites that had the same design as before, but much more flexible and dynamic from a back-end point of view. We was very limited on what we could edit on the websites beforehand. It has had a huge impact on the department as we can now fully access and edit the websites, opening new and exciting opportunities.

How did you select this vendor?

I found DE through searching on Google. From a shortened list, DE were then invited for a meeting. My Financial Director and myself chose DE over 3 other companies as they provided confidence and knowledge in the project. Other factors included having a local site and being competitively priced.

Design, page setup, content migration, CMS setup, development, template creation, quality assurance and training & support. Also provide annual hosting & maintenance.

What was the team composition?

They have a varied team that can work on technical and design aspects. Worked collaboratively with our I.T department as well as myself in Marketing.

The websites look great and work well as planned. The training and continuous support is always informative and easy to understand. DE are very fast at responding to our queries using Base Camp. Looking forward to a long-term working relationship with a friendly and knowledgeable agency.

They're genuinely down-to-earth, approachable, and professional. The quality of work is excellent. Always happy to help, making you feel valued as a customer. DE have achieved a great success through multiple sites.

Not that I can see - they've been great! Very transparent and professional.

2020 Media International is a creative communications agency that specialises in video content, TV and online media production and distribution. I am the Marketing Development Manager and I'm responsible for discovering and implementing the best ways to Market 2020 Media.

We recently hired Digital Ethos to help with our SEO. After our initial meeting we felt confident that they knew their business extremely well and could help increase our SEO.

We wanted to improve our SEO locally with a further aim to improve it nationally.

We met with and considered three other companies. Digital Ethos came across as knowledgeable yet friendly and we though they would be a great fir for our company.

We wanted to know more about SEO and how it works. We initially started with 3 workshop sessions to increase our knowledge on SEO. To increase our SEO we have allowed Digital Ethos access to our website and Google suite.

Digital Ethos have a team of 10 people involved in our project from technical to content creators.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Digital Ethos provided extensive training sessions, successfully building the knowledge of our in-house team. Local keyword ranking improvements has resulted in a 15% increase in website traffic and 163% increase in session duration. They continue to deliver our SEO Campaign and support us on in-house training when needed in the future.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The communication has been great. Digital Ethos use BaseCamp and we get weekly updates and bi-weekly Google hangout meetings.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Digital Ethos are great communicators and are quick to respond to any queries. They are professional yet friendly and approachable.

No, we are happy with everything Digital Ethos have done for us.
