Please describe your company and your position there.
Silo Connectors is a consultancy focused on enabling cloud base applications for our clients. We provide initial strategy, design, implementation, integration, customization and on going support services for Salesforce.com, RingCentral, Docusign, and other cloud based applications. I am the managing partner and owner of the firm.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire Digital Engine?
Silo Connectors website was in its second iteration since the company's founding in 2015. Our traffic to the website was practically non-existent and appearance in non paid search was near the bottom of Google searches for Salesforce consultants. In addition, our marketing collateral was too text focused and not complete for all of our offerings. We engaged with Digital Engine to build a completely new website with an emphasis on SEO. We also had them develop a complete social media presence and rebuild all of our marketing collateral.
What were your goals for this project?
Our goals were to increase website traffic, improve our search results in non paid search, create a much better brand awareness and increase the quality of our marketing collateral

How did you select this vendor?
We had been searching for a marketing partner that would actually be a true partner. Prior to engaging with Matt and the team at Digital Engine we received two other proposals that were basically a list of activities with no clear deliverables or goals. Both of these firms were not proactive and basically told us this is what you get for a lot more money than Digital Engine. We had one firm that I had face to face contact at a business event that never even called us back.

Completely new website with extensive time focused on what our messaging should be. Developed an SEO strategy (still evolving) Developed an on going blog with new posts twice a month. Developed landing pages for five different services offerings Ran several email marketing drip campaigns. Designed all new electronic and paper based marketing collateral Developed social media presence on LinkedIn and Twitter Enhanced our Google my Business and Bing for Business pages On going monthly support plan

RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our google search results for our industry specific search have moved us to page one for everything and in the top 1-4 in most searches. Website traffic has increased 500% and continues to go up. Our social media awareness has increased on LInkedin and Twitter. Leads are starting to flow. We are also on a retainer with bi-weekly calls to review progress and continue to fine tune the overall strategy.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Our workflow with Digital Engine was/is very effective. More often than not they were waiting on us to respond to requests.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The entire team at Digital Engine is great to work with. They are high energy, great communicators. They're good at drawing out our company's unique strengths and our services offerings.
