I’m an executive at a sports academy.
What challenge were you trying to address with Digipal Agency?
We needed a website, so we wanted to augment our development team for this project.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We needed a website for our academy that had a backend management system. Locally hiring and outsourcing to software development is very expensive, so we went for an offshore development team. Digipal created our website from scratch using Webflow, React, and Python.
What is the team composition?
I worked with three people from their team, including a backend developer, a frontend developer, and a UI/UX designer.
How did you come to work with Digipal Agency?
I found them through a Google search, which led me to their profile on Clutch.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with them from May–June 2022.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The process was smooth and overall great; they had great customer service, and their management cared about us, which is very hard to find in large powerhouse companies. They were also transparent and easy to understand, especially regarding their billing system and how it worked.
Overall, their work was perfect, and the website turned out exactly how I imagined it.
How did Digipal Agency perform from a project management standpoint?
The communication and service they provided were unparalleled, even compared to US-based companies. Their team was very professional and responded in a very timely manner, following up on all of my questions to make sure that they did everything well. There was a lot of back-and-forth communication to ensure that all the website details were just how I wanted them to be — whenever I had something that needed to be done, they did it.
Regarding tools, we used Zoom and email to communicate.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Digipal Agency provided excellent customer service; they were very efficient, professional, communicative, and delivered a great quality of work.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don't think there's anything they can improve on — I was very satisfied with their work.

Be very clear with expectations; it's very important to take the time to lay out all the details in the beginning. As long as you’re clear with your intentions and what you want to accomplish, everything will be fine.

I'm a General Manager at the Georgian office of one of the largest global marketing agencies - Ogilvy. We work with startups, SMBs as well as large corporations providing end-to-end marketing, strategy and digital transformation services.
For what projects/services did your company hire Digipal Agency?
For the large project of one of our strategic clients, which is a growing tech startup, we needed two services. First - scaling our web development team with Backend and Frontend Engineers for producing marketing websites at scale, second - hiring experienced digital customer journey architect for building our multi-channel digital campaign.
How did you select this agency and what were the deciding factors?
We did not have time nor luxury to start full-scale recruitment and we needed high quality experts fast, who could start the project immediately and deliver top-notch quality.

We started the first interaction with Digipal January 2020, it took us around 2 weeks to find common grounds, align on business needs vs their offering and started with 3 full-time developers by the first week of February. We worked with Digipal’s two backend engineers and one frontend expert for around 5 months for the first project. We were very pleased with the work Digipal’s team has delivered and contributed to.
Describe the recruitment process in detail.
We sent the technical brief, shared business needs. Then we interviewed their proposed developers, picked the best fit candidates and proceeded with the paperwork. It was pretty efficient and straightforward. In the start and selection process we had assigned an Account Executive who managed the whole process and he also remained as our main contact person throughout the rest of the cooperation.
Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?
Our business challenge was simple yet very difficult to fulfill, it was finding high quality tech talents immediately with fair market rates. Digipal helped with that and thanks to that we managed to deliver a great work to our customer.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
It was a great success, we had an instant culture fit, good customer service and transparent billing process. Now we have Digipal as one of our main tech talent partners. Whenever we have either smaller consulting projects for web or larger tech staff augmentation needs, we always go to them and so far we’ve had great experience.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
We were impressed with their agility, flexibility, and great communication. everyone speaks fluent English, and knowledge of all modern industry practices. It was also impressive how result oriented and customer-centric everybody we worked with was. They were always making sure there was no feedback, notes or even minor remarks left behind, which created a great deal of trust between our teams.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
No, so far it’s been a great partnership, I’ve been very happy with them.

I'm working on a contract as a Program Manager at a growing tech/software company working mainly with the hospitality and tourism sector. We provide ready-to-use software solutions to travel agencies, tour guides and various hospitality venues.
For what projects/services did your company hire Digipal Agency?
We needed to scale our mobile development team for launching our mobile app solution for the winter tourism sector. Therefore, we needed a talented team of Android and iOS engineers who could join our current inhouse team and speed up the delivery.
How did you select this agency and what were the deciding factors?
At first, we started searching for freelance developers on LinkedIn, various job portals and social media. But it turned out to be an expensive, time-consuming and difficult task in general as the market is experiencing high demand on IT talents.
Then we started considering different options and one of them was IT outsourcing vendors - this is how we found Digipal. A colleague of ours had recommended Digipal as they have cooperated in the past and he had only good experience to share.

We started conversations with Digipal in early 2021. By March 2021 we were ready to onboard their developers. We started with 1 Senior iOS and 1 Senior Android developers, quickly added two more developers each one on Android and iOS.
We ended up working with 4 devs in total all the way till mid November - that's when we were having the software ready for our users and after this our team could keep managing the maintenance, minor fixes and new features.

We reached out to Digipal, got a contact with Mike, who has connected us with their Business Lead (Robbie). We managed to quickly go through the details of the potential cooperation, seen the few sample profiles, agreed on hourly rates and started selecting/interviewing candidates.
Good fact is that Digipal has developers either who work with them on few projects already, or they recruit talents dedicated for your project, as they have high number of talents in their community, it took them less a week for providing us with candidates for the android/ios roles - we've done technical interview, code assessment and onboarded right fit candidates.
Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?
With the support of colleagues from Digipal, we managed to fit in the ambitious deadline, saved money and time on recruitment and also had a great client experience from their dedicated point of contact.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Super fast in the process, very attentive while sharing feedback, reasonable rates, great people onboard. Also very important - they are not a huge company, I think not more than 40-50 people, which is great, because access to management, fast decision making and humane approach to client is there, which is super important!
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
In general, the cooperation was smooth and the overall results were satisfactory. Probably there is always room for improving some minor things, however my recommendation would be to always stay honest and transparent with clients like it is now. Often times when agencies companies grow, they tend to lose the individual approach to clients. I hope it will not be the case with Digipal.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
It'd be great gesture from Digipal if they could offer better rates as we consider returning back to them with a new project. We as client (and I believe everybody) expects to have lower rates when working in long term with vendors like Digipal.

For us, time and quality were two crucial components. Digipal's team has provided great project management and code quality that's always on time! This helped us launch the project with respect to the upfront estimated timeline topped with the great quality.

They were working in Scrum & Agile project management model. If I remember correctly, they have defined 2 weeks long sprints (as the most efficient setup for our project). They were using Jira for backlog management and sprint planning; Emails and Slack for communication and Zoom for standups and other recurring meetings.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Perhaps one of the best things is that the agency is not huge (they had circa 30-35 people back then) and it allows to have quick decision-making, great customer success, and the ability to have a fair share of attention by C-level people, which has been a great added layer of security for us as a client.
