Redbridge Tuition

Teens Unite
Teens Unite are an amazing and inspiring charity that help young people, whose lives have been impacted by a cancer diagnosis. A new website was required to allow the charity to interact with supporters and teens alike. We set about creating a functional design that incorporated all the ideas. In this project, we felt that providing a clear direction of all the website pages with relatable content, Teens Unite would be able to view the journey from each of their different types of users. The result was a beautifully designed website, informative, user friendly and easy to manage.

Happy Days Clubs
A complete digital business application from the website to the CRM. Happy Days Clubs required a scaleable solution to help with growth and management of their clubs

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the operations manager of a charitable organization supporting teenagers who suffer from cancer.
What challenge were you trying to address with Diginow Web Design?
We had an outdated website with limited functionality. It wasn’t enabled for mobile devices, and users had a poor customer experience.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They designed and developed a completely new website from scratch and it was completely bespoke. This included backend development that allows us to track how many visits each page received, how many tickets have been sold, and determine our most popular news stories. Now they provide ongoing maintenance.
What is the team composition?
Rishi (Technical Director, Diginow Web Design) was our main point of contact, though they had a few other people working on our project behind the scenes.
How did you come to work with Diginow Web Design?
We put together a document that set up what we wanted and we went out to tender. We went through the whole tender process, and Diginow Web Design came up with the best design ideas. They really understood our brief and had taken the time to get to know the business.
They had a personal connection to our mission because Rishi had a personal experience with our cause and related to our mission—his friend passed from cancer in his teens. So, they wanted to reduce their fees for ongoing work as a charitable donation.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent about £4,500–£5,000 (approximately $5,900–$6,500 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together in April 2017 and they continue to support our site.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Before working with Diginow Web Design, we didn’t have access to website metrics, so it’s difficult to recognize trends. The site’s functionality is much improved. We can easily sell tickets and people can express interest, which has made everything more efficient. Anecdotally, people like the design of the new site and think its presentation makes us look more established. It looks great.
How did Diginow Web Design perform from a project management standpoint?
Having a single point of contact helped make sure that everything ran smoothly. Almost everything was delivered on time—with one exception—that delay was because of our payment provider, though.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their response time is great. Now, if I want something to look a bit different, they can get it done within minutes. If it’s a bigger task, they build the time into our monthly fee to avoid creating another project and increasing costs.
Are there any areas they could improve?
If we don’t contact them first, we probably won’t hear from them for a while because they manage everything on their own. That can be a positive too, though, because that means everything is going well.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
It’s important to build a relationship with your point of contact.
While the new design has received positive feedback, it has also improved efficiency and customer experience. Diginow Web Design’s team responds quickly to requests and alters their workflow to save costs. Absolving some of their fees as a donation, they stand out as a great partner.
