Software IT Development Manager
For what projects/services did your company hire Devqube, and what were your goals?
We had a problem with the migration of the warehouse management system. Devqube developed MVP using the latest technologies in container-based fashion. They also delivered Continuous Integration and Delivery for the project.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We had around two companies to choose from, and we decided on Devqube mainly thanks to short time-to-delivery and flexibility as we had relatively tight deadlines.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
Devqube was responsible for the development of the web-based app serving supporting production services. Our vision of the solution and specifications were clearly stated, thus they started with a high-level backlog and designs prepared by our team. During the project work, we detailed selected functionalities and continuously refined process flow.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
The team comprised around 3-5 people, 3 frontend developers and 1 backend developer, and 1 DevOps
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The MVP of our product was released in June 2021, and 3 months later, in June, we’ve decided we want to develop it further - of course, with Devqube’s assistance. This period of collecting feedback from our users proved that there’s a demand for our web app, and we want to grow it even more.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Everything was taken care of, and we felt that we are in good hands. Devqube’s team is proficient in open communication and gave us a lot of space to share ideas, discuss details and propose solutions. At the same time, they are highly proactive and always ready to share their recommendations. As they proved countless times that they earned their experience, we trusted them with the process without any doubts.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They have delivered a beautifully straightforward solution from the employee's perspective but works on advanced technologies. Devqube really approaches every project individually and always looks for the best possible solution to achieve expected results. They just did it, which is very much appreciated.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Devqube is a type of company that always looks for improvements on their own. They constantly learn and look for new ideas to explore. We didn’t have any suggestions during our collaboration, but if we ever have one, we are certain they will approach it with an open mind and do everything to improve themselves.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm a CEO of Codeclusive, a software house which specialises in working with startups. We have a small and efficient team to provide with software development. I am responsible both for running the company but also programming myself.
For what projects/services did your company hire Devqube?
We were in need to support our own software development team to work with the client to develop a mobile app in Ionic and web platform in Angular. Devqube helped significantly in this development delivering Ionic mobile app and parts of web platform in Angular.
What were your goals for this project?
This was nearly a total rewrite of the previous version of the system and it was delivered in a tight schedule and deadline. Ionic mobile app was supposed to provide both online and offline capabilities. The whole platform was about to synchronise seamlessly across two platforms (web and mobile) and provide on-site support for the staff.
How did you select Devqube?
My team searched for a partner for this kind of development and Devqube was from few partners which approached us during team construction phase. I have to say that Devqube specialists were the best suited for this project - from technical competence but also communication skills.
Describe the project in detail.
The project was supposed to be almost total rewrite of a platform supporting hiring and productivity of staff. The challenge was to design the system so that it's supporting both online and offline usage, have blazing fast reporting and it's intuitive to use as some parts of the system are quite complex.
What was the team composition?
The team was composed of many developers from the client side (10-12), few developers from vendor side, Project Manager, Product Owner, UX designer and two developers from our side (Codeclusive). The team size was changing during the lifetime of a project as there were times of more and less load which we were trying to flexibly support.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Within 3 months, almost complete platform was delivered which will be replacing the current client's system. The system was developed on a tight schedule and deadlines and even though it was ambitious, the outcome was beyond client expectations. The follow-up work will be needed by the permanent team but it was known from the beginning. The cooperation between our company and Devqube resulted not only in completing mobile app but also on the web platform front which was not initially planned.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Our teams had a very good workflow from the day 1. The communication wise and motivational wise we were pretty much aligned so that we knew exactly what was urgent and what needed to be thought of carefully. This gave a great confidence for the client that we're supporting the project in the right way.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I was pretty amazed by the attention to detail and knowledge of Devqube specialists. They were able to catch problems early on and prevent any rework in the later stages. There was no task too hard or complex for them to develop.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I guess if I had to really pick anything I would say - during such a tight timeline, it would be with a benefit to have some life-work balance but it would be quite hard not to support client when it was needed.
