Our initial prototype had visualization which was a bit limiting. We wanted to branch beyond that. We needed Designify to create new charts and UX/UI designs and then implement them.

How did you select this vendor?

I contacted the top-10 companies from the countries I looked at. I chose Designify because they had an extremely good benefit-cost ratio.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

We internally used spreadsheets to track detailed and large-scale operational metrics across manufacturing sites on a machine by machine basis. We effectively overwhelmed the abilities of spreadsheets and needed to create our own tool.

In general, Designify provided infrastructure and data science expertise. They built a data pipeline to aggregate user information from across the world.

What was the team composition?

We had one dedicated project manager who only worked for us. At peak times, we had up to 10 people involved in the work.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the projects that demonstrate progress or success?

We’re about to shift entirely to the system Designify built. They’ve effectively become our development team. We’re continually tweaking, getting user feedback, and making adjustments to improve the platform.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Their project management is outstanding and state of the art. They use Jira internally and Trello for keeping us updated.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

It takes a very short time to get access to their resources. Our own supplementary development team was on board within two to four weeks.

Overall, I’m very happy. It was a great experience. Their work quality is high, and while the impact remains to be seen, I would expect it’s better than before. The developers are talented and smart. They make adjustments as needed.

They provide a timely service. Outside of web development, the team provided excellent feedback regarding business strategy and marketing.

How did Designify perform from a project management standpoint?

I dealt with a responsive project manager. I was able to get in touch with him frequently. They used Trello at first, then switched to another management software. Both were good, and the latest one allowed me to make comments on different aspects of the site.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They had a lot of good feedback for me. Every time I had a suggestion, they would get back to me and let me know if it made sense or not. I appreciated that approach. It felt more a genuine partnership.

There were a few small things, but overall, I was happy. In the overall scope of things, it was seamless.
